    Contribution Tracker

I have installed this contribution but cannot select contributions that I have added and cannot use the edit, preview, or delete buttons (the entry comes up blank). Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a solution? I've tested in both IE 7 and Firefox 2.

I take credit cards that are processed through Linkpoint and have no problem getting the system to confirm and process orders with $0 due (after application of the Gift Certificate account balance). I don't know if it is related to the changes I made to make this work with Linkpoint or not, but it works.

This is what I meant: Enabling Gift Vouchers and Discount Coupons To enable the Gift Voucher, go to your admin->modules->order_total->Gift Vouchers and choose to install it. On a default system there should be a button with a green cross and the word 'Install'. Click that. To enable the Discount Coupon, go to your admin->modules->order_total->Discount Coupons and choose to install it. On a default system there should be a button with a green cross and the word 'Install'. Click that. I see that in the latest version they are pre-enabled.

Sorry, I did not mean to imply that the fix related to osCMax. I am using osCommerce (not osCMax) and running CCGV(trad) on it using Linkpoint. My files have been modified to allow the use of Linkpoint without the error that can be encountered if the files are not modified and the amount of the gift certificate is less than the total amount due. I hope that clears things up a bit. Again, I apologize for any confusion.

I have this working with ccgv(trad) and Linkpoint now. If you go to http://www.oscmax.com/forums/ and search for Linkpoint, you'll be able to see the details.

Have you gone to Admin and clicked on Modules, selected Order Total, and installed Gift Certificates? If you go to Admin and click on Tools, do you see a box towards the bottom that says Certificates/Coupons?
  8. What settings are you using?
  9. Well, I made these changes, but when I add something to my cart and then leave the site (just go to another site or close the browser) and go back, there is nothing in the cart. I tested using IE 7 with a medium (default) setting on privacy and with Mozilla Firefox 2 set to accept cookies and keep them until they expire.

Well, if anyone else out there would like to try to be helpful, I'd appreciate it. Like I said, I doubt that the problem has to do with the version of osCommerce I'm running since both sites I have are running the same version and both worked before. Unless my host installed an older version over the newer version, I don't see how the version could be the problem. If anyone wants to take a more thoughtful look at this I would sure appreciate it, otherwise I'll just figure it out on my own.

I hear you but am confused by the fact that both sites are running the same version of osCommerce and both ran the contribution just fine before the server "restore". Is there a particular file that was changed in November 2005 that I should be looking at?

Also, the site that works is running php version 5.1.4 and the one that does not is running php version 4.4.4.

I have two sites, both running osCommerce 2.2 MS-2 and both with this contribution installed. Both sites were running this contribution without error until the server where one of the sites is located went down and was restored by the hosting company. Now one site still works without generating an error (the one on the server that did not go down) and the other site (the one on the restored server) does not. The site that is working fine is running MySQL 4.0.16 and the one that has developed problems is running MySQL 4.1.21-standard. Could that cause the problem?

I had this contribution installed and working just fine, then the host server went down for several days (yes, days). Now the server is back up but when I go to gv_queue.php I get this error: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-5, 5' at line 1 select c.customers_firstname, c.customers_lastname, gv.unique_id, gv.date_created, gv.amount, gv.order_id from customers c, coupon_gv_queue gv where (gv.customer_id = c.customers_id and gv.release_flag = 'N') limit -5, 5 Any suggestions on what is wrong and how to fix it?

    Ohio Tax Table Contribution

I took a few months off, so this is the first time I saw your post. Did you resolve the issue and get this installed?
  16. Have you clicked on Related Products under Catalog in Admin and set up any related products?
  17. Skittles, I'd like to see it set up so that once a product is added to the cart, the optional related products are displayed and can be added to the cart as well. However, if a product has attributes, you just about have to take the customer to the product page first. If it was really sophisticated, it would add the item to the cart if there were no attributes and take them to the product page if there were attributes. BD
  18. Skittles, It could be like the buy now button on the page showing Products Available For Purchase......it takes you to the product page rather than actually adding it to the cart.
  19. Better yet, how about making the box appear on the shopping cart page with a buy now button? (Need to figure out how to deal with a cart with multiple products in it?}
  20. See post #47 above.......................

    FAQDesk v1.01.0 Support

I just noticed that my FAQ box (which I have in the left column) does not display when someone goes to certain pages on the site. I haven't figured out what the pattern is yet, but thought I'd see if anyone had any suggestions on what to look for or where to look.

    SiteMonitor

OK, I think I have it working now. I had to use Control Panel to CHMOD the configuration file to get it to take the changes I made, then everything started to work.

    SiteMonitor

I had to comment out these two lines in sitemonitor_functions.php in order to make the script run without giving me error messages: $dp=opendir($dir); while (false!=($file=readdir($dp)) && $level == $last) If I leave those two lines in, I get these error messages: Warning: opendir(/home/public_html/osCommerce/catalog/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/[username]/public_html/osCommerce/catalog/[admin]/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 56 Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/[username]/public_html/osCommerce/catalog/[admin]/includes/functions/sitemonitor_functions.php on line 58 Reference file creation failed. Any suggestions?

    Attributes Search

In addition, if the search comes back with more than one page of results, clicking on the next page (page 2) or any other page (page 3, etc,.) or "last page" (>>) just takes me back to the default attributes page (not the selected page of the search results).
  25. I installed version 3.1 of this contiribution but cannot get it to edit or delete attributes. The search function seems to work, but if I run a search and then try to use the edit or delete buttons, it just takes me back to the first page of the attributes list. If I use the edit or delete buttons without using the search function first (if I find the attribute I want to edit or delete by clicking on the page numbers rather than using the search function), they work. Any ideas? Contribution: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1832 (I also have installed Product Attributes Sort Order.)
