    You can't go wrong with an addon from @raiwa.  @burt also has one if you contact him.

    For Phoenix user, the following change is needed to prevent a warning. In includes/classes/seo.class.php, replace this code (at line 786)
    if ( (SEARCH_ENGINE_FRIENDLY_URLS == 'true') && ($search_engine_safe == true) ) { with this
    if ( (defined('SEARCH_ENGINE_FRIENDLY_URLS') && SEARCH_ENGINE_FRIENDLY_URLS == 'true') && ($search_engine_safe == true) ) {

    The Exchange Project
    That was the name before osCommerce in versions 1.0, 2.0, and 2.1.  A shop being a place where you can exchange money for goods.  I would find Open Source Commerce to be a more useful name without a conflict with a commonly used Microsoft product for managing emails and group interactions.  OSCOM stands for Open Source Commerce Online Merchant.  CE stands for Community Edition.  BS stands for BootStrap.  In general, the current CE Phoenix is a successor to the previous BS versions.

    I am sure it will be updated, as @raiwa Rainer has said many times when the next fixed release is available. Until then people will have to be patient. its one problems that people have created for themselves in using code that should not really be used in a live environment.

    Patty reacted to ecartz in [Contribution] Ship In Cart
    It looks like it needs to have the $customer object created.
    $customer = new customer($customer_id); You may have to find a way to make it work with a fake customer ID when the customer is not logged in.  Possibly would require shipto and billto to be stored in the session (as arrays of information).

    The KissIt Gallery module is not updated yet for the Pi system.
    However it should be pretty simple to update and use the core module for KissIT. The only difference is that the KissIt module uses the KissIt Main Image size constants.
    Please compare the modules.
    If you are not able to solve this, please wait for the Phoenix 1.0.6.0 release and the correspondant KissIt image update.
  9. Thanks
    Patty reacted to raiwa in KissIT Image Thumbnailer Support
    Yes, and you Only need to add the image size constants to the tep_image function.

    Let's have a little think on this (so called) useless work that "the team" (I suppose that is me ? and lately Matt ?) has done.
    Everything we do has a purpose and if (speaking for myself only), I truly believed that most shopowners think as you do, that would be the day I quit.

    You will see some of the items above have a red star (*).  This is IMPORTANT new functionality.
    All of the above has been done to modernise osCommerce and allow addon makers to make addons that change no (or very little) core code.
    By doing this, shopowners have a much easier life.  If shopowners have a much easier life, developers have a much a easier life.  You can see the circle joining.
    So, I refute your claim that Matt and I (and others) have wasted our time and effort.  I refute your claim that the above is useless.
    While the above was happening over the months, we gained 63 supporters from July until now.  1 supporter pays for 1 hour of coding time.  Do you believe that all of the above has been done in 63 hours?  I know that I have put in hundreds of unpaid hours since July, and I suspect Matt is the same.  The same goes for raiwa and brockleyjohn - unpaid hours devoted to their addons, yet able to find time to help out giving hours to core code.
    To those absolutely brilliant 63 supporters, you know that you guys allowed (and are allowing) Phoenix to fly high and by extension keeping osCommerce on life support.  To the others who have not yet been able or willing to start supporting...or just did not realise what it takes to run something the size of Phoenix...perhaps this post opened your eyes.
    I'll end with two images;

    which shows that Matt and I, between us, have about 1650 contributions in 18 months.  That number excludes;
    all the time and effort spent answer questions and giving support here at the forum and by email. all the spam busting we have to do all the times we have to read abuse and idiotic comments by PM, email, and in this forum all the other modules that we give away for free and the support that this takes and most importantly, our actual real life jobs that we have Maybe this post has opened a few eyes as to the reality of the situation we find ourselves in???
    You can either continue on as you are and end up not being a part of anything, or you can change the path you are walking on and support Matt and myself over the coming months and years.  Open your eyes, and start thinking outside your little bubble.

    For this error, replace line 41
    $listing = $_GET['listing']; with this:
    $listing = $_GET['listing'] ?? '';

    JcM Ajax State Select V1.0 Phoenix
    Updated to hook and adapted for Phoenix based on code snippets published on the forum by @De Dokta.
    This requires the replacement or edit of one core file so only use if your happy doing this.
    It will automaticity turn the state select input filed into a drop-down on the selection of a country that has states. This is done without the need to do a page refresh or submit.
    Make getting a new account a much better experience for the customer.
    That’s it Enjoy.. Has been tested on Phoenix Version 1.0.4.0 only.
    Can be see working on this site

    one page 14   of that tread there is the solution that might work
    you have to change the name of the function to
    this
        function banktransfer() {
    function __construct() {
    to
    in the module/paymennt/banktransfer.php
    it is worth the try

    A little suggestion:
    There is a lot of hardcoded English language in the invoice.php file
    It would be nice if it was multi-language, right?

    JcM Bank Transfer Payments V1.0 Phoenix
    This is a simple add-on that allows you to add Bank Transfer as a Payments option.
    It’s an update to an existing add-on so all credit to original author.
    It requires NO core changes so just copy over the files provided.
    Once it’s installed simply go to admin and install and turn on.
    Bank details are set in admin

    Email sent to customer will show bank details to make payment

    If you wish the invoice to show your bank details then you need to edit your invoice.php or use the one provided (this is optional).
    That’s it enjoy.
    It has only been tested on Phoenix 1.0.4.0 only.
    Can be seen working on this custom test site

    I found a fix for this error:
    In all product page modules (product_info.php, product_reviews.php and product_reviews_info.php)
    Find:
    $result = Usu_Main::i()->query( $this->query ); $text_array = tep_db_fetch_array( $result ); Add below:
    if ($text_array == null) { return false; }
