  1. It looks like you don't have the easypopulate_functions.php file in your admin. It is in the files you downloaded. That is where the function is defined. Just copy it into the same directory as the easypopulate.php file. Hope this helps Terral

    Easy Populate isn;t easy

    Easypopulate tracks your items with the products_model field. by having them all named "spanish" you have created one item and modified it with every line. Try giving each product a unique model identifier. Hope this helps Terral
  3. Tim, On line 1758 of easypopulate.php the code for Linda's header tag causes the information to reset the tag. It reads products_head_keywords_tag = '" . $v_products_keywords_tag[$key] ."' but it should be products_head_keywords_tag = '" . $v_products_head_keywords_tag[$key] ."' Thanks Terral
  4. What happens if you edit a product in the file you download (don't add any new products) and then upload it? If you can do that without any problems then it is something in the product creation part of the code. If that is the case you need to look at your easypopulate.php file beginning around line 1500 and add your missing row to both the insert into products area and the values immediately below. I assume it is the v_products_author row that is causing the problem. I think it should look something like this: $query = "INSERT INTO products ( products_image, products_author, #products_mimage, #products_bimage, #products_subimage1, #products_bsubimage1, #products_subimage2, #products_bsubimage2, #products_subimage3, #products_bsubimage3, products_model, products_price, products_status, products_last_modified, products_date_added, products_date_available, products_tax_class_id, products_weight, products_quantity, manufacturers_id) VALUES ( '$v_products_author', '$v_products_image',"; // unmcomment these lines if you are running the image mods /* $query .= . $v_products_mimage . '", "' . $v_products_bimage . '", "' . $v_products_subimage1 . '", "' . $v_products_bsubimage1 . '", "' . $v_products_subimage2 . '", "' . $v_products_bsubimage2 . '", "' . $v_products_subimage3 . '", "' . $v_products_bsubimage3 . '", "' */ $query .=" '$v_products_model', '$v_products_price', '$v_db_status', CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, $v_date_added, $v_date_avail, '$v_tax_class_id', '$v_products_weight', '$v_products_quantity', '$v_manufacturer_id') "; $result = tep_db_query($query);

    Options as Images

    If you can get this working I would be incredibly happy. I am almost done building my store and this is one of the final things I have to do. Thanks much. I'll keep looking back here for the great news. Terral
  6. I have it working with Ian's Loaded 5. I am only using mimage and bimage mods. The others should work with similar changes. Here is what I did to get it to work. If you notice any errors let me and everyone else know. around line 850 I changed function ep_create_filelayout($dltype){ global $filelayout, $filelayout_count, $filelayout_sql, $langcode, $fileheaders; // depending on the type of the download the user wanted, create a file layout for it. $fieldmap = array(); // default to no mapping to change internal field names to external. switch( $dltype ){ case 'full': // The file layout is dynamically made depending on the number of languages $iii = 0; $filelayout = array( 'v_products_model' => $iii++, 'v_products_image' => $iii++, ); to function ep_create_filelayout($dltype){ global $filelayout, $filelayout_count, $filelayout_sql, $langcode, $fileheaders; // depending on the type of the download the user wanted, create a file layout for it. $fieldmap = array(); // default to no mapping to change internal field names to external. switch( $dltype ){ case 'full': // The file layout is dynamically made depending on the number of languages $iii = 0; $filelayout = array( 'v_products_model' => $iii++, 'v_products_image' => $iii++, 'v_products_mimage' => $iii++, 'v_products_bimage' => $iii++, ); Shortly after that I uncommented support for linda's header tag stuff 'v_products_head_title_tag_'.$l_id => $iii++, 'v_products_head_desc_tag_'.$l_id => $iii++, 'v_products_head_keywords_tag_'.$l_id => $iii++, then around line 1040 I added reference to the image mods $filelayout_sql = "SELECT p.products_id as v_products_id, p.products_model as v_products_model, p.products_image as v_products_image, to $filelayout_sql = "SELECT p.products_id as v_products_id, p.products_model as v_products_model, p.products_image as v_products_image, p.products_mimage as v_products_mimage, p.products_bimage as v_products_bimage, around line 1515 uncommented image mods $query = "INSERT INTO products ( products_image, products_mimage, products_bimage, added values for the mods I am using around line 1530 (ignoring the uncomment ... as it only gave me trouble) manufacturers_id) VALUES ( '$v_products_image',"; to manufacturers_id) VALUES ( '$v_products_image', '$v_products_mimage', '$v_products_bimage',"; and finally noticed an error in the linda's keywords description for updating products (not new products) that would wipe out keywords of existing products change around line 1670 products_head_keywords_tag = '" . $v_products_keywords_tag[$key] ."' to products_head_keywords_tag = '" . $v_products_head_keywords_tag[$key] ."' Now it seems to work great. I had nearly gone crazy trying to find other ways to enter my information. Hope this helps someone. Terral

    EASYPOPULATE DOES NOT POPULATE

    In your first post you said that you saved as comma delimited text file. I think Easypopulate needs a tab delimited file. Hope it is as simple as that. Terral
  8. Yes, I did uncomment all the lines relating to the images. Then I get the unexpected '.' parse error as mentioned above. If I remove the first dot then I get an unexpected T_VARIABLE.
  9. Loxly, I compared the two but am not sure what to do now. I also tried duplicating the products_image lines throughout the file and changing them to mimage and bimage. It worked on my old file 2.41b5 but crashed hard in the new one. 2.53 $v_products_id = $max_product_id; echo "<font color='green'> !New Product!</font><br>"; $query = "INSERT INTO products ( products_image, #products_mimage, #products_bimage, #products_subimage1, #products_bsubimage1, #products_subimage2, #products_bsubimage2, #products_subimage3, #products_bsubimage3, products_model, products_price, products_status, products_last_modified, products_date_added, products_date_available, products_tax_class_id, products_weight, products_quantity, manufacturers_id) VALUES ( '$v_products_image',"; // unmcomment these lines if you are running the image mods /* $query .= . $v_products_mimage . '", "' . $v_products_bimage . '", "' . $v_products_subimage1 . '", "' . $v_products_bsubimage1 . '", "' . $v_products_subimage2 . '", "' . $v_products_bsubimage2 . '", "' . $v_products_subimage3 . '", "' . $v_products_bsubimage3 . '", "' */ $query .=" '$v_products_model', '$v_products_price', '$v_db_status', CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, $v_date_added, $v_date_avail, '$v_tax_class_id', '$v_products_weight', '$v_products_quantity', '$v_manufacturer_id') "; $result = tep_db_query($query); 2.41b7: $v_products_id = $max_product_id; echo "<font color='green'> !New Product!</font><br>"; $query = 'INSERT INTO products ( products_image, products_model, products_price, products_status, products_last_modified, products_date_added, products_date_available, products_tax_class_id, products_weight, products_quantity, manufacturers_id) VALUES ( "' . $v_products_image . '", "' . $v_products_model . '", "' . $v_products_price . '", ' . $v_db_status . ', CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, ' . $v_date_added . ', ' . $v_date_avail . ', "' . $v_tax_class_id . '", "' . $v_products_weight .'", "' . $v_products_quantity .'", ' . $v_manufacturer_id.')'; $result = tep_db_query($query);
  10. I was able to fix the parse error by adding the ; after the query. This however did not enable the mimage and bimage in the output. Thanks for any help.
  11. fast freddy, I am having the same troubles with the mimage and bimage fields. By removing the first dot I get then this: What exactly does it take to activate these fields. I was able to do it in an older version by just duplicating every instance of v_products_image and creating mimage and bimage but I would like to stick closer to the updated version. I am currently using (trying) 2.53. Thanks Terral
