    The code that controls the size of the popup window is in catalog/shopping_cart.php just above the </head>. You can change the width and height of the popup window, as well as make it resizable. Currently it is set not to have scrollbars or ability to resize the window, but these can easily be changed. The code you need to change is below. <script language="javascript"><!-- function popupWindow(url) { window.open(url,'popupWindow','toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,copyhistory=no,width=500,height=310,screenX=150,screenY=250') } //--></script>

    It looks like your country drop down menu is what's setting the width of the box, so I'd try to decrease the width of the drop down box.

    Hi. I'm not sure why you're getting a date stamp in your estimates. This was not coded into the popup feature of this contribution. It might be something that comes with your UPS shipping module. As for which UPS method you want to show in your estimated shipping box, you should use the contribution below. You can select which ones to show from your admin panel. This might also fix the date stamp problem you're having. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,528 Good luck! Gary

    Make/Model/Year Navigation

    Is it possible to have this kind of navigation only for some parts of the catalog and have the generic links for others? Ideally I'd like to be able to use the normal links to browse through the catalog, but when clicked on one of the category links, this navigation system comes up on the main page. Please take a look at our site and you'll see what I mean. I'd like to use this system of finding the product for the ink cartridges only. The rest of the categories are find the way they are. Is this possible? Thanks.

    Hi. Your shopping_cart.php only contains one javascript instance, but when the page is loaded in your browser, your shopping cart page calls other pages to load, such as header, footer, etc... These files also contain script code that may be conflicting with your popup window script for the shipping estimator. The one that's actually doing this is a command in your shopping cart php file that calls for the file: /shop/includes/sts_templates/white_red/sts_osc_javascript.js. The first script in this file contains the same function popupWindow(url) command which conflicts with your script. To fix, do the following: in shopping_cart.php change <script language="javascript"><!-- function popupWindow(url) { window.open(url,'popupWindow' To the following <script language="javascript"><!-- function popupWindow2(url) { window.open(url,'popupWindow2' AND change href="javascript:popupWindow(\'' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_POPUP_SHIPPING) to the following href="javascript:popupWindow2(\'' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_POPUP_SHIPPING) This will basically change the popup window name from popupWindow to popupWindow2. You can also name it anything else you want, as long as all required windows are named the same. This should work. Gary
  6. Hey everyone. Does anyone know if a contribution for DHL TrackIT XML API exists? There is one for UPS and it works great. It would be really nice if we can do the same with DHL. I'm not a coder, so I wouldn't be able to make it, but I'd be willing to try it out and report bugs/etc if someone could start making one. Thanks

    Hi. If you look at your source code, there seems to be several instances where you call javascript. I found at least one other script for a popup window. They might be conflicting with each other and that's why it's not resizing properly. You might need to do some organization of your scripts to make sure they don't conflict.

    Featured 1.5

    My featured products contribution works great, however, an empty featured products box is shown for categories that don't have any designated featured products. Additionally, top categories (with subcategories with assigned featured items) also show empty featured products box. Is there any way to call on the featured products module only for categories that actually have items featured from the admin? You can view the problem here Thanks.

    Hi. The popup shouldn't have any effects on the continue shopping button. The code above looks just like mine, except for the <td class="main"> and the closing </td>. Here is the exact code I have in my shopping_cart.php. Change the above with this and see if the button comes back. <?php $back = sizeof($navigation->path)-2; if (isset($navigation->path[$back])) { ?> <?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link($navigation->path[$back]['page'], tep_array_to_string($navigation->path[$back]['get'], array('action')), $navigation->path[$back]['mode']) . '">' . tep_image_button('button_continue_shopping.gif', IMAGE_BUTTON_CONTINUE_SHOPPING) . '</a>'; ?> <?php } ?>

    Oops. Thanks for noticing. This is a google analytics code that shouldn't be included. Just delete the above between the //osCoders.biz snippets. As for the m01.1.gif, that's also site specific and should be removed.

    EDD might be a feature of your UPS shipping module, as I never had that displaying on my site. If it is a shipping module feature, you might be able to disable it through your admin panel (modules-->shipping-->ups). I could be wrong though, so if anyone knows, please comment.

    Hi. To change the image button to the html form submit button do the following in catalog/includes/modules/estimated_shipping.php: FIND: <tr><td align="center" class="smallText">' . TEXT_ZIPCODE . '?' . tep_draw_input_field('estzipcode', $estzipcode,'MAXLENGTH="20" SIZE="10"') . '?' . tep_image_submit('button_est_ship_submit.gif', IMAGE_BUTTON_SUBMIT) . '</td></tr></TABLE>' . tep_get_estimated_shipping_quotes($country, $HTTP_GET_VARS['action'],$customer_country_id)); REPLACE WITH: <class="smallText">' . TEXT_ZIPCODE . '?' . tep_draw_input_field('estzipcode', $estzipcode,'MAXLENGTH="20" SIZE="8"') . '?' . '<input type="submit" value="Submit">' . '</TABLE>' . tep_get_estimated_shipping_quotes($country, $HTTP_GET_VARS['action'],$customer_country_id)); As for the other problem, I'm not sure what that is. Let me know where I can see your site and I'll take a look at it. It sounds like an error message generated from your UPS shipping module. Gary

    Not sure what to make of it. I had a similar problem when I was using an image button, so I ended up replacing it with the generic form button. I tried to change the vertical alignment of the button within the box, but nothing helped. Glad it works now. Gary

    Ok, I see. I didn't realize that you put a large close button for the window. The missing button was just a small x icon that I'm using (see my site www.westwoodprinters.com), but your way will work too. You basically want to get rid of the 'close window' text and be able to click on the button you've created. Here's what to do: Open popup_shipping.php FIND <p class="smallText" align="right"><img src="includes/languages/english/images/buttons/button_close_window.gif" alt="close"> <?php echo '<a href="javascript:window.close()">' . TEXT_CLOSE_WINDOW . '</a>'; ?></p> REPLACE WITH <p class="smallText" align="right"><?php echo '<a href="javascript:window.close()">' . '<img src="includes/languages/english/images/buttons/button_close_window.gif" alt="close" border="0"></a>'; ?></p> This should work just fine. Gary

    That's strange. Could you please post your popup_shipping.php code or let me know what your website is so I can check it out? Gary
