You're welcome to download the latest version of osCommerce from osCommerce.com OR choose to host your osCommerce with us - it is free for the first month and you can play with it, and then take it to your own hosting if you like.

20 Reasons to switch to osCommerce. Reason 7 - mobile A jubilee post. Sad today because of HM the Queen Elizabeth passing. Still, a post a day. So, osCommerce is designed to be mobile friendly out the box. Super important, of course. Each design theme has a special, optional, mobile version. You don't have to have it, but you can have it if you like. And if you don't - that's fine. Responsive design is the feature that is built it. You can set different dimensions per theme, and configure behaviour of particular widgets for each of the dimensions. Besides that there's page load speed. And "burger" menus. osCommerce is truly good. And mobile friendly.

Yes that's correct! It is possible to manage its behaviour there.

Please kindly note the system will likely hide empty categories to simplify user experience.

Would it be correct to assume those categories have no products in them? In that case they would likely be hidden automatically unti they get at least 1 product. We would be happy to assist in building a template, or you could approach a development partner of osCommerce. Please pm if you'd like to discuss this further
