    [CONTRIBUTION] PDF Customer Invoice

    Hi Chris, Thank you for both the invoice & packingslip they have helped me greatly. If I can add a request to the flood of requests you have already received and that is... Can you please have a look at getting the packing slip to email as an attachment the same as the invoice. So for dropshippers like myself the order can be placed with the supplier in real time. It would be very helpful !!
  2. Guys, Just updated my categories and have put a 301 redirect into my .htaccess file to redirect search engines to the new link. I have SEO URLs installed and when entering the old link the manual redirect works but I have noticed SEO URLs is now adding a cpath to the new address but only when entering the site through the old link. If you navigate the site normally the link is created without the cpath link. Has anyone come across this before?
  3. I have been noticing alot of osc stores around that are now using 5 or six products on thier main page along with a short discription of each product. Sort of like the specials on the front page but has a little discription next to each one. here is something of a random osc store

    Anyone seen something like this?

    I have created a table to house which products are suitable to which models. Now I am getting to display the relevant results. What would be the easiest way of doing that. For example I have Manfacturer >>>>Model and from there want to be able to display parts that are relevant to the model chosen from the drop down box.

    Anyone seen something like this?

    Yeah that is similar. But I need to be able to choose a type of printer which then displays the ink cartridges for the printer choosen
  6. Has anyone come across a contribution or seen a osc site that uses drop down boxes for customers to pick products? For example I have a site that sells ink for printers and I want to be able to have a a series of drop down boxes like Printer manufacturer>>>Printer Model>>>>>which then displays compatible ink cartridges. This is obviously the easiest way for customers to select which ink fits their printer. But it would require the second drop down box being populated with models of the selected manufacturer(selected in the first drop down box). If anyone has any ideas can you please post...Thanks a lot :D

I can't work it out Any advice Thank you

  9. Well here goes, Does anyone else use easypopulate to upload product descriptions with a stylesheet reference to change the appearance of the product description. For example, I use a html table in my product desription which has a reference to the stock oscommerce stylesheet.css. However, the formatting that should be applied to the html table(by the stylesheet) does not work until I go to the admin panel and edit, preview and update EACH product manually.I don't need to change any code in the description just go through the edit, preview and update process for the product to display perfectly.So it is not a code problem or even an Easypopulate problem just how to link the product description and stylesheet when using EP. I thought maybe the link tag like below would work if I added it to each description but it doesn't <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css"> This is the code added to stylesheet.css table.stats {text-align: center; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 11px; color: #fff; width: 100%; background-color: #688C68; border: 1px; border-collapse: collapse; border-spacing: 0px;} table.stats td {background-color: #F0DC88; color: #000; padding: 4px; text-align: left; border: 1px #000 solid;} table.stats td.hed {background-color: #688C68; color: #fff; padding: 4px; text-align: left; border-bottom: 2px #000 solid; font-size: 12px; font-weight: bold;} And this is an example of the table code entered into the product description <!-- This is the specification table --> <p><table class="stats"> <tr> <td class="hed" colspan=4>Specifications</td> </tr> <tr> <td><strong>Construction</strong></td> <td>8 groups /12 elements</td> </tr> <tr> <td><strong>Angle of view</strong></td> <td>24?</td> </tr> <tr> <td><strong>F stop range</strong></td> <td>f/2.8-32</td> </tr> <tr> <td><strong>Closest Focusing Distance</strong></td> <td>0.31m / 1ft. (film plane to subject)</td> </tr> <tr> <td><strong>Maximum Magnification</strong></td> <td>1:1</td> </tr> <tr> <td><strong>Filter Size</strong></td> <td>58mm</td> </tr> <tr> <td><strong>Dimensions (Length x Diameter)</strong></td> <td>3.1" x 4.7" / 79.0 x 119.0mm</td> </tr> <tr> <td><strong>Weight</strong></td> <td>21.1 oz. / 600g</td> </tr> </table> So just to make certain everyone understands, the problem is the table not having the stylesheet formatting until I manually update each one from the admin panel. Thanks for your help :blink:
  10. Have you configured you variables in easypopulate.php That would seem like a logical place to start if you are having problems with active/inactive // Set the v_status field to "Inactive" if you want the status=0 in the system // Set the v_status field to "Delete" if you want to remove the item from the system <- THIS IS NOT WORKING YET! // If zero_qty_inactive is true, then items with zero qty will automatically be inactive in the store. global $active, $inactive, $zero_qty_inactive, $deleteit; $active = 'Active'; $inactive = 'Inactive'; //$deleteit = 'Delete'; // not functional yet $zero_qty_inactive = true;
  11. As a suggestion take way the "" around the variables such as size etc using the find and replace function of a text editer.I was having similar issues and that fixed it
  12. Has anyone got a solution for this problem? Sorry to clog the thread.

  14. Hi, all. I am having problems with easypopulate. I have to display specifications of products in a table in product pages. To make these tables easier to change I use some code in stylesheet.css to alter the appearance, if need be. The problem is when I use Easypopulate to upload products the formatting from the stylesheet is not applied. However, when I edit the product from admin and go through the process of previewing and updating the product the link is re-established and my table displays as it should,even though I don't change the code I just preview and then update. So it would appear that clicking update in the product description from admin links the product page to the stylesheet. Is there a fix for this or has someone else had similar problems? I am sure someone else has used Easypopulate and stylesheet formatting. Thanks for you help
