    Google Checkout Level 2

I've decided to return to making updates to this contribution. It's been on my site without problem for nearly a year but if any one has issues, post them here and I'll see about getting a fix up for it. D

Leaving the SQL inserts wont hurt anything, they're only for the config screen and if they're left in, they will just be ignored. To remove the contrib, you can just undo the edits to the shoppingcart.php file. D

1: I set up the contribution in a fresh OSC install and the only way I was able to reproduce the error of the customer not being created was when the callback URL wasn't set at the Google Checkout website. Log into your Google Checkout Owner account, and then choose 'Settings'. Once in the settings area, click the 'Integration' link on the left. In the Call Back URL Field enter 'http://www.yoursite.com/Google_New_Orders.php' Hopefully that will get the customer problem fixed. 2. For the Fed Ex problem, the error is in the Google_Button_Code.php file. Lines 16 and 17 use VA, and 23455 as the default shipping. They should be changed to your local area. 3. All of this is moot. Now that Google has released their own OSCommerce Contrib, I'm shutting this one down unless a reason comes up to keep it going. I hope it was a decent bridge for everyone that used it during the 4 weeks it was in use. Thanks, Derrick Hopkins

I'm back. I was busy with other things. I'll see about taking care of some of the bugs. The biggest one looks like some people dont get customer accounts created. D

Yes. I'm sorry, thats really important. Really important. in the API Callback URl you need to put https://yoursite.com/Google_New_Orders.php Derrick

Check your includes/configure.php and make sure you have the https server set. It sounds like its blank. D

An updated version has been uploaded. Its been tested on a stock osc install and should work a lot better than the previous version. Replace all the files (shoppingcart.php is the same as in .5) and removed all of the Google checkout configuration table entries. Run the new sql file and you should be set to go. Theres a new config field where you decide what order status you want the orders to be set as. let me know of any issues. D

its saying that your merchant_calc URL is invalid. The app builds that url by taking the url listed in the /includes/configure.php file under HTTPS_SERVER. Open that file (configure.php) and make sure that line (around 15) looks like define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.yourserver.com'); If you're using the development google server, you can get away with using a normal 'http' server. But if you're using the production server, it must be a 'https' url. D

it's optional. The google checkout button is placed under the oscommerce button. D

Did you use the supplied shoppingcart.php file or did you edit your own? If you edited your own, make sure you did the last step where the final </form> tag is removed. D

It may be that your mysql cant handle the multiple inserts. Inside of the Google Checkout config section, you should have 4 entries. Merchant ID Merchant Key Enable Google Checkout Production Development If you have those, then youre ok. If not. let me know which entries (if any) are in the google checkout section. D

GBuy... who is working on a Mod?

The customer is always sent to Googles site immediately. They go directly from the Shopping cart page to Google's page. There's no way to keep them on your site. At the end of the Google process, the customer is given a link back to your site, but thats it. D
