Offical Google Checkout module for osCommerce Support Thread

I just tried installing the official 1.5 (upgrade from 1.45) because I started having problems with the responsehandler file. I can't get anything on the admin side to work. I had to increase the memory size for php to 128M just to get the google_xml_builder.php to run to completion (it takes 15-20 seconds running from command line) but when I try to go to orders.php from the web it takes forever (again running the google_xml_builder.php file) then just gives me a blank page. I've got 100k+ products on the site, and the products-static file it generates is 120+mb. Where do I modify the code to get it to stop this? I can't even get into the admin side to configure the module.
  2. Switched to Ultimate SEO URLs 5 and after the upgrade to php 5.2 everything works well!
  3. 1 - RewriteBase is set to / in .htaccess (store is at www.mydomain.com, no catalog folder) 2 - I had an earlier version of SEO URLs working at one point. I had a freelancer look at some performance issues and he disabled this about 6 months ago while testing other stuff. I just realized it wasn't working, so I tried enabling again. This leads me to believe that mod_rewrite is compiled. (this is a plesk install) 3 - AllowOverride it set to All for every case in httpd.conf 4 - Tried commenting out in .htaccess and httpd.conf with no difference
  4. Been there. I just get a blank page.
  5. What do I need to do in httpd.conf? AllowOverride is set to All for everything, and mod_rewrite is getting loaded.
  6. It's there: Loaded Modules core prefork http_core mod_so mod_auth_basic mod_auth_digest mod_authn_file mod_authn_alias mod_authn_anon mod_authn_dbm mod_authn_default mod_authz_host mod_authz_user mod_authz_owner mod_authz_groupfile mod_authz_dbm mod_authz_default mod_include mod_log_config mod_logio mod_env mod_ext_filter mod_mime_magic mod_expires mod_deflate mod_headers mod_usertrack mod_setenvif mod_mime mod_dav mod_status mod_autoindex mod_info mod_dav_fs mod_vhost_alias mod_negotiation mod_dir mod_actions mod_speling mod_userdir mod_alias mod_rewrite mod_proxy mod_proxy_balancer mod_proxy_ftp mod_proxy_http mod_proxy_connect mod_cache mod_suexec mod_disk_cache mod_file_cache mod_mem_cache mod_cgi mod_version mod_bw mod_fcgid mod_jk mod_perl mod_php5 mod_proxy_ajp mod_python mod_ssl
  7. it's a private server and I have full root, what I do I need to setup?
  8. I'm having issues with getting this contrib to work as well. I installed everything, but when I turn it on everything blows up. If I try to go to a link I just get a blank page. I swapped out the .htaccess as mentioned above and when I do that I get an internal server error. At that point everything is broken and I have to go in at the db level and disable the contrib. Anybody got any ideas?

    Multi_Vendor_Shipping new thread

The problem with google checkout and paypal express checkout is that the checkout doesn't go through checkout_shipping.php. The cart contents get passed and you pass shipping rates. You can't send rates where the user has to select one for each vendor as they do in checkout_shipping.php. I ended up getting around it by disabling those options when there there are more than one vendors products in the cart.

    Multi_Vendor_Shipping new thread

I've been looking at this module and it seems to fit most of my needs. I ship from two different vendors, one on each coast, so shipping varies greatly between them. My issue is that I have both paypal express checkout and google checkout on my site. What happens with these when a user places an order and has items from both vendors? Any idea on how to address this since you pass the shipping cost to paypal/google?
  11. I've looked through the contributions and haven't had any success finding a solution to my problem. We have two warehouses, one in California, one in Florida. The warehouses have different products (items from mfr A, B, & C are in Florida, mfr D, E & F are in CA), and both ship via UPS. How do you account for shipping? If you use normal UPS, rates are going to be based on a single zip code, so if it's set to CA, and somebody in FL buys something from the FL warehouse, it's getting the UPS rates for CA to FL and overcharge, yet if a person in CA buys from the FL warehouse, it's charging CA to CA, so it undercharges. I'm guessing I'm going to have to come up with some kind of flat/table rate shipping? Any good rules of thumb for guesstimating here?
  12. I have a problem with 5.19 using RC2 Everything is installed and seems to be working, except when I add a new coupon in the admin section, it loses it's name. In looking at the db, it looks like it creates the row in the coupons_description table but the coupon_id is 0. If I manually change that to the same id as the entry in the coupons table then it shows up correctly. Where is this set, and how can I fix it?

    NEW! Complete Order Editing Tool!

Ignore that, I upgraded from 5.0.3 to 5.0.6 and all is well.

    NEW! Complete Order Editing Tool!

When I try to add or remove a product, either using the ajax version or the non-ajax, the product gets added/removed correctly, but then all of the order totals (subtotal, tax, shipping, order total, etc) get set to 0. Any ideas?
