  1. Thanks for the reply, but I've been going over and over the stuff and I've managed to figure it out - it was a problem with the figure I was or rather wasn't entering in the "v_attribute_values_price_1_1" - for anyone else who has this problem - do not leave it bank : type "0" for no tax, and type "1" to include tax in the actual price. Thanks tho :D
  2. Hi Guys, I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place or not... everyone says to post it at the end of the "Easypopulate thread" but I'm not entirely sure where that is, or how to identify it, so I really apologize if this is in the wrong place! I have Easypopulate installed and running. But I am battling with the attributes part... I am selling stationery so I need to give attributes like red pen, blue pen, green pen... for about 3000 products, but the attributes arent set values for all the products. Now when I set the attributes in the columns provided in excel, it doesnt reflect in the actual shop. At one stage it did reflect - but under a totally different product to what I specified. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

    Product Attributes

I have about 3000 products, and need to add various colours to certain products. I'm selling stationery, so things like pens/bins/paper etc, need colours. What would you recommend to be easier than easypopulate? I will post this at the end of a thread too... Thanks
  5. I can't get my "product attributes" set up in Easy Populate, can anyone help me? Is this right? Under the following column headings? : v_attribute_options_id_1 : 1 v_attribute_options_name_1_1: Colour/Size etc v_attribute_values_id_1_1: Red v_attribute_values_price_1_1: +in addition to what the original product costs v_attribute_values_name_1_1_1: What goes here? I know that its something simple, but I've tried all sorts of variations and its not working... I have a lot of products all with different attributes, and its a lot quicker (supposedy) through easypopulate, than through admin. Thanks

    Easy populate problem

I had the exact same problem: "No products_model field in record. This line was not imported" But the rest of the products before this ARE uploaded!!!!!!!! This line simply refers to the last line in your data record (i.e. excel if you are using excel)... that has no info in it! For the "0" as your price you need to get out of this forum and post it on the general forum, but the answer is this (from Mr_Bear, if you bothered to check previous forum questions): Did you created a new default currency? In the edit did you put 1.0000000 as the value and then click on update currencies button ? and in the catalog/includes/languages/english.php around line 36 // if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used w$ define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD'); Change it to whatever you need hope this helps
