    One Page Checkout Support

Hi all, This is a great contribution and one I definitely want to use, but unfortunately I too am receiving: Fatal error: Call to a member function pre_confirmation_check() on a non-object in /home/htdocs/includes/classes/onepage_checkout.php on line 548 I notice lines 547 and 548 (below) of onepage_checkout.php start with $GLOBALS. I'm a complete novice here, but does this error have anything to do with register globals being switched off? $GLOBALS[$_SESSION['payment']]->pre_confirmation_check(); $GLOBALS[$_SESSION['payment']]->confirmation(); If anyody can offer help on this one, I'm sure there's a lot of people who would appreciate it very much ! Cheers Andy

    List Manufacturers and Products

Thanks Sam ! I'll give that a go. Cheers Andy
  3. Hi all, I'm looking to list all products (text links only) within a category by manufacturer, in the following format: Manufacturer 1 Product 1 Product 2 Product 3 Manufacturer 2 Product 1 Product 2 etc, etc. Unfortunately, my PHP and MySQL powers are weak and I'm at a loss on how to go about this given there are no relevant contributions available. I've been looking at a way to combine All Manufacturers contrib and All Products contrib, but with no success. I understand the steps I need to take are to query the database for all manufacturers with products within the selected category, then query each manufacturer for their relevant products and provide it in a list view, but I'm not even sure where to start. Could anybody possibly provide me with a few pointers or maybe a site with tutorials on how to do the necessary ? Cheers Andy

    SEO Assistant

Hi, Just a quick note for anyone who's had a similar problem to the one I described above . . . this was caused by the Autologon contribution which I had installed. I stumbled over the problem when I used the Lynx text browser to view my index page. Lynx (and therefore all search engine spiders too, who read the page in a similar fashion) only displayed a login error when viewing index.php which was preventing my site getting indexed and causing errors when using SEO Assistant. Cheers Andy

    cDynamic Meta Tags

Sorted it. For those who are struggling with STS v4 and cDynamic Meta Tags, here's what you have to do... 1. Remove any reference to the <title> tags in your pages, i.e. index.php, product_info.php 2. Comment out the line in includes/modules/sts_inc/general.php as follows: // $sts->template['headertags']= "<title>" . TITLE ."</title>"; 3. Place meta_tags.php into your includes folder but rename it to header_tags.php 4. Open the STS module from your admin panel and add headertags.php to the end of your "Files for normal template" section, i.e. it should read something like sts_user_code.php;headertags.php That's it. Great contribution ! Thanks to all who put it together. Andy

    cDynamic Meta Tags

Hi all, This contribution seems to be exactly what I need, but I'm having trouble getting it to work with STS. I originally had STS v2 installed, but took this out and installed the latest v4.1 hoping this would make it easier to implement cDynamic Meta Tags. As I have a very basic knowledge of PHP, is anyone able to give me some pointers on how to install this, as STS strips the header tags from the scripts. Cheers Andy

    SEO Assistant

Hi guys ! I've tried using v1.3.3 (13 Oct 05) install and now I've downgraded to Jack's most recent v1.3, but I'm still getting the following errors when using the Keyword Density checker: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /xxxx/ajfashionjewellery.co.uk/user/htdocs/admin/includes/functions/seo_density.php on line 51 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /xxxx/ajfashionjewellery.co.uk/user/htdocs/admin/includes/functions/seo_density.php on line 60 Warning: arsort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /xxxx/ajfashionjewellery.co.uk/user/htdocs/admin/includes/functions/seo_density.php on line 72 I've read through all posts on this thread and can't find what I'm looking for. Am I missing something? Even more worrying is that I've just tried a few random free keyword density checkers I found via Google and they all came back noting that I had virtually no keywords on my site. Is this because the checkers can't read dynamic pages or is my shop setup completely wrong? Cheers Andy http://www.ajfashionjewellery.co.uk
  8. Hi I was wondering whether anyone knew if there is a contribution to list multiple quantity input fields on the product description page as this page has? Cheers ! Andy

    STS Template

Hi, I've installed the Simple Template System, which does exactly what it says on the box, but I've hit a design problem. I'm having difficulty trying to lay out the page so that it looks good, but at the same time has enough room to accomodate the various modules. Does anybody know of any sites using the STS Template or can anyone point me in the direction of some example templates? I've found a handful via Google, but these are all very basic and not that much different from the standard layout. Cheers ! Andy

    B2B Suite Price Markup

Hi all ! I've just installed OSC with the B2B suite in order to authorise users before they are able to log in and see prices. However, I want to display the actual price entered against the product when the user is logged in and not a markup or discount price of the original. The B2B site allows you to set markup or discount and the amount as a percentage, but it will not allow you to turn this off or accept 0% which is what I want. Any suggestions how I can force it not to alter the price? Many thanks, Andy
