  1. The code is on github, so it's no secret, but considering all the online modules seem to be paid-for, I'm not sure how willing they will be to help me make a free one.
  2. No I'm in V4, but for some reason I can only post to a few forums, so I can't post to any of the V4 forums. I'm trying to port a module over for Australia Post. The quotes come through fine and are listed, but if you try to change your selection, the radio button doesn't move. It just goes to the top option every time it refreshes to update the total.

  4. I'm porting over a shipping module from zencart and it's mostly working. My only remaining issue now seems to be that in the shipping estimator, only the top option from my module is ever selected. When I select another option, I can see it refresh, but the radio button goes back to the top option from my module and the price is also from the top option. If I choose an option from another module, it's fine. The order total updates and the radio button stays on the selected item.
  5. So if you just need basic product dimensions, you can add the fields to lib/backend/themes/basic/categories/productedit/size.tpl and it should work.
  6. Never mind - I found out that if you modify the basic backend template to add these fields it all works fine.
  7. Is this by design? When I save a product, the dimensions fields are set to null each time.
  8. But there's dimensions in the database already? And any "online" shipping module needs product dimensions, so you're essentially forcing people to want a functioning OSC to buy an addon so they can add dimensions to their products, then buy another shipping module (which doesn't even exist for Australia yet). Is this really a free solution anymore?
  9. If I go to the Size and Packaging tab for a product, I can only see weight. Is there a setting I need to enable so that I can enter dimensions, or is something broken?
  10. I'm working on this right now. I have my shop up and running, but it's basically a lightly modified "watch" theme. Which is fine because I don't need anything custom. However I'm currently having to use flat rate shipping which is going to bite me in the bum eventually. So I'm looking to port over the Australia Post module from Zen (they are very similar). I've got it to the point where the modules will activate, but they aren't working. Unfortunately, the logging in this application seems very poor, so I have no idea why it's not working. Right now I'm unable to post to any of the 4.x forums, so finding it hard to get support. I'm also not sure how willing anyone will be to support me because it looks as though a module like this would be a paid-for module if it was released by OSC. I'm planning to just release it for free when I get it working.
  11. I'm trying to get some support on 4.x because I'm trying to build a module for shipping in Australia, but for some reason I can only post to a few forums. Why is that?
  12. Hi, what was your mistake? I have the same issue. Edit: ok nevermind.... try clicking on the "install module" button 😁
