    [Contribution] Independent SEO URL Validation

Thanks for this! I was having the same problem after installing 2-2.2e; following THESE EXACT INSTRUCTIONS solved the problem IMMEDIATELY (caps for the benefit of the next person who's not sure what to do about the next-page-in-a-category-doesn't-work problem!).

    Paypal IPN v. 3.1.4 Problem

I had this same problem - turned out that when I unzipped/untarred the package, "modules/payment/paypal/admin/TransactionDetails.inc.php" was named "modules/payment/paypal/admin/TransactionDetails.inc". Also, "modules/payment/paypal/classes/TransactionDetails/TransactionDetails.class.php" never even made it out of the archive file - the folder "TransactionDetails/" is empty. Basically, the archive for PayPal IPN 3.1.5 that I downloaded doesn't extract properly, and that's where the problem lies, so now I'm going to go see if that's been corrected. Hope this saves somebody else some time.

    [Contribution] - USPS Methods

Further evidence that this contribution is not, in fact, supported - I asked perfectly reasonable questions more than 2 months ago (11/20/2006), and there haven't been any useful responses in that time. Phooey. If you're reading this and you haven't installed this contribution yet, hey - DON'T. When it doesn't work correctly, nobody will help you.

Yikes. Lots of questions, lots of problems - nobody's venturing solutions? Is this thread even being monitored by the creators of this contribution...?

    [Contribution] - USPS Methods

I've recently installed USPS Methods 2.8d on a fresh installation of osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 Update 060817. All seemed well until I started doing real purchase tests. Here's what's happening: If I leave the options in CONFIGURATION > SHIPPING/PACKAGING for Maximum Package Weight and Tare Weight blank, and make a purchase, all the options that are checked in the contrib show up on the shipping checkout page, but with a value of $0.00. If I change the Tare Weight, nothing different happens. If I change the Maximum Package Weight, I only get one of the 2 checked shipping options. ========= So, to clarify: If I leave the Maximum Package Weight field blank, and I have "Priority" and "First Class" checked as domestic shipping options in the USPS Shipping Module, I get this on the Shipping Page during checkout: United States Postal Service (0 x 0.1lbs) United States Postal Service First-Class Mail (2 - 5 Days) $0.00 Priority (2 - 3 Days) $0.00 ...which is wrong - the weight should be 1 lbs ---- If I set a weight in Maximum Package Weight, I only get Priority Shipping as an option on the Shipping Page during checkout; First Class doesn't show up as an option, at all: United States Postal Service (1 x 1lbs) United States Postal Service Priority (2 - 3 Days) $4.05 ...which is correct, but First-Class Mail isn't offered. ---- Yes, I signed up for a USPS account; yes, it was validated by USPS; yes, it's been set to the production server. I tried checking out http and https, and it does the same thing either way. I haven't been able to find anything in this message board that addresses this. So... any ideas? Is there some factor that I'm missing that affects whether or not First-Class Mail is offered as an option? Is there a reason you have to set the Max Weight before this mod works? Am I missing something obvious? Help? :)

    2Checkout V2 WORKING with OSC 2.2MS2!

Considering the fact that 2CO seems to be making it as difficult as possible to use 3rd party shopping carts with their services, and considering that PayPal will now process a credit card without requiring the purchaser to open/have a PayPal account... Does anybody have a good reason to continue using 2CO for credit card processing? I've spent hours over the past week trying to get my store up to 2CO's ever-changing list of requirement, and I'm friggin' tired of it. They're making this too hard, and I don't have time for it. So I'm honestly interested - any good reason NOT to use PayPal to process CC's?

    2Checkout V2 WORKING with OSC 2.2MS2!

Heh. Let's hope that one of the things they update/change is making the v2 admin panel actually work - have you tried the "Find all sales not marked shipped" feature yet? Yikes. Eesh. These guys. Weirdness is an understatement.

    2checkout v2 on OSC 2.2

If you have your store installed in a sub-directory, such as 'store' (as in, http://www.domain.com/store/), would it still be PATH','/'? The default for mine is PATH','/store/' -- seems like if I drop that, it'd be referring to the root directory OUTSIDE of the store directory... wouldn't it? Just guessing, and trying to figure out why I can get this work when others have. Any help is appreciated.

    2Checkout V2 WORKING with OSC 2.2MS2!

For the record, I just downloaded and installed the 2.0c 2COv2 contribution, and, while the transaction went through and processed, I also got a single 'Cart' entry when I reached the 2CO payment page -- no itemized list of products. I was very, very careful about following the provided installation instrux, since I didn't want to have to do it more than once. There's still something missing here, somewhere...?
