  1. Well my friend wanted a search box with 4 options. So I added 4 attributes with options to each product so now on advanced search all there is, is 4 boxes to search from each attribute, I also hid all the attributes from the product info page as each product only had 1 selection for each option Does this make sense? Now this sorted the search box and function however has made it impossible to add new attributes as they wont show on product info and if they did they would also show on the search page. I have suggested searching by keywords etc but thy want 4 drop down menus with options. The only solution I could come up with was this one with my very limited knowledge!!
  2. Hi, I've adapted the attributes for my needs on a search function however I think this was wrong but I can't go back now as the search function is perfect. does anyone know how to adapt the code below to only show attributes A,B,C and D? Many thanks in advance! <?php $attributes_query = tep_db_query("select * from " . TABLE_PRODUCTS_OPTIONS . " where language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "'"); while ($attributes = tep_db_fetch_array($attributes_query)) {?> <div class="form-group"> <label for="dto" class="control-label col-sm-3"><?php echo $attributes["products_options_name"]; ?></label> <?php $option_values_query = tep_db_query('select pv.products_options_values_id as id, pv.products_options_values_name as text from ('. TABLE_PRODUCTS_OPTIONS_VALUES . ' pv, '. TABLE_PRODUCTS_OPTIONS .' po) join ' . TABLE_PRODUCTS_OPTIONS_VALUES_TO_PRODUCTS_OPTIONS . ' popv on (pv.products_options_values_id = popv.products_options_values_id) where popv.products_options_id = po.products_options_id and popv.products_options_id =' . $attributes['products_options_id'] . ' and po.language_id ='. (int)$languages_id . ' group by pv.products_options_values_id, products_options_values_name'); $option_values_list = array(); // MySQL5 Fix echo '<div class="col-sm-9">'; $count = 0; $option_values_list[$count] = array('id' => '', 'text' => ''); while ($option_values = tep_db_fetch_array($option_values_query)) { $option_values_list[++$count] = $option_values; } echo tep_draw_pull_down_menu($attributes['products_options_name'], $option_values_list); ?> </div> </div><?php } ?>
  3. Hi, I need to display 2 prices per product so the customer can choose either option but I can not use the attributes for this as I have adapted these for something else. (Which I was warned I would be in this situation by a fellow member!!) Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!
  4. Finally got this sorted! THANKS TO BURT who on a different unrelated question I asked suggested CSS to hide which I used here too!! So I made the search box have a . in the box already so when searched it searches all products with a . in the description which for me is all of them. I then used the hide style to hide the box and boom I got what I needed!
  5. Burt you bloody legend!!!! I mean I've been at this HOURS and it was a simple case of putting 'style="display: none" :O :O THANK YOU!!
  6. That still produced the same problem, I also tried the code below which produced the same problem, I'll be honest I don't really know what am doing, I've winged most of it so far! <?php echo tep_draw_hidden_field('id[' . $products_options_name['products_options_id'] . $selected_attribute['products_id']['attributes'] ['products_options_id'] .']', 0); ?>
  7. right I see thank you! I will have a crack at that now!
  8. The code below is the code I've been removing but when I do it says the item has been added to the cart but yet hasn't, am I looking at the wrong bit of code? <?php echo $products_options_name['products_options_name'] . ':'; ?></strong><br /><?php echo tep_draw_pull_down_menu('id[' . $products_options_name ['products_options_id'] . ']', $products_options_array, $selected_attribute, 'style="width: 200px;"'); ?><br />
  9. Thanks for the reply, I realise that I'll be in a bind, I do need an attribute to show that isn't part of the search idea but am doing this for a friend and they insist on a page with 4 drop down menus and to select sizes in each, the only way I personally can do this is through attribute search and as such am in this situation. I'll take another look at the product info code thanks
  10. Hi, do you know if its possible to hide the attributes on the product info page but yet still have them attached to products? When I delete the attribute code or part of it from the product info page and add the product to the cart it says product has been successfully added but yet hasn't. Many thanks! The reason for this mod is that I've got a search page to search attributes, all my products only have a single attribute and it doesn't look good with my product attributes so I'd still like for the attributes to be searched but yet not displayed on product info page.
  11. I've been searching half the night and can't find a solution, I would like to remove the text search box in advanced search, as standard its a required field. Many thanks!
  12. Right sort of happy with what I got now! So from admin page I can edit a customer and now have a box for me to put a quote into (only for my reference) and on the customer list page it shows me the quote. I did want it in the "create customer" page on the admin side but I've sent like 6 hours and only got this far so giving up and think am happy with it!
  13. This is the code I have <?php if ($is_read_only) { echo $account['entry_company']; } elseif ($error) { if ($entry_company_error) { echo tep_draw_input_field('company') . '&nbsp;' . ENTRY_COMPANY_ERROR; } else { echo $company . tep_draw_hidden_field('company'); } } else { echo tep_draw_input_field('company', $account['entry_company']) . '&nbsp;' ; } ?> But if I change tep_draw_input_field to tep_draw_textarea_field I get the following error Warning: Missing argument 3 for tep_draw_textarea_field()
  14. :O :O :O Well dont I feel silly!! I was looking for a file like column_left.php for it to be named and included in there!! Honestly spent an hour searching how to do this!! You're a star!
