    Oscommerce websites for sale?

I was looking to see if anyone already had a store setup that they may be looking to sell. I've gone down the road of loading oscommercr and then customizing the front end to make it look nice, but I got out of the business awhile back. Just didn't feel like reinventing the wheel and if some was interested in selling their established site I would like to talk further.
  3. Hi all, It's been awhile since I've been on the forums and I've since closed my store that I had with an oscommerce backend. I'm thinking about getting into it again and instead of building my store from scratch again...I wanted to know if there is anywhere on here that allows users to sell their sites (if they wanted to). I might just be missing it. Thanks, Steve

    Handling Fee for USPS

I know this is an OLD post, but I'm having the same issue...anyone got an idea, or know what may be causing the issue?
  5. If you use paypal standard it will give them a choice to use a credit card without signing up to paypal, or to use their account(at least that's what I beleive).
  6. Nevermind...I found out how to do it. It took a bit of searching, but it's here....thanks!
  7. Hi all, I would like to disable the table rate from showing up when the items in the shoppers cart are under 100lbs. How would I go about doing something like this? It seems like there should be some simple code to exclude the table rate from showing unless the weight in the shopping cart exceeds a specified number (like 100). I have a several large items that can ship, but don't want to have the table rate showing a cost fo $125 for shipping on something like a book or cd. I tried starting the table rate at 100lbs, but when I do..the shopping cart for items like books or CD's shows the lowest amount in the table rate. Thanks for any help you can give me on this, Steve

Jonathan, Do you have a link to your site? Did you do a straight install, or do the mods like listed below your orginal thread? Is your store stock? If not, what contibs do you have working with this one? Thanks! Anyone else that has this on a Windows server please post a link to your site.

Does anyone have this working on a Windows based server? If so, can you post a link to your shop. I would like to see this work before I implement. Thanks! Steve

Has anyone been working anymore with this contrib? I would love to see all the mods for SEO Url's and other items put together in a new release.

    Add to cart js effect

does anyone know who did this scripting? I like the idea of the image moving to the cart instead of the little circle thingy going round and round.
  12. Hi all, I was wondering if there is a way to show a specific flat rate for a product that is a certain number of pounds. Say for instance, most products shipping is automatically figured out, until the 120-130pd threshold is hit; then the site will say you need to contact me for shipping info. I would like to be able to show a freight charge for an item if they decide to add it to the cart...lets say a table for instance, most of them have a flat rate of X number of dollars. I would just like to be able to show that...I had a thought for a specific pound number like 333pds would activate the flat rate charge table and show the shopper X for shipping of that item. Does something like this sound feasible? Thanks all, Steve

    FedEx Freight Shipping Module

Yea, I would like to stay in the loop on this. I don't have a FedEx freight account, just the normal account.

USPS adding .94 lbs. to anything under 1lb.

Maybe try this hack, change tare weight to -.094 and see does anything.
