Don't get me wrong - I love all of the add-ons and the core product itself. I'm just a little frustrated. If it were my contrib, I'd want it to work properly, otherwize it would "bug" the heck out of me knowing there are issues, and that it may be preventing others from using it. I guess I'll take a look at the code and see if I can figure it out, then post it here.

Michael (spoot) - any chance you can help us out with this? I didn't write the module, so I have no idea as to how to get it fixed (nor am I that proficient with PHP), so I would appreciate if someone could get these fixed. It seems odd that someone would post an enhancement to an already great time saving contribution, but then not have time to correct a few small bugs.

I'm having an issue with displaying OSC errors with STS. That is, when there is an error in the Payment Page for example, OSC simply returns the user to the payment page, without posting an error anywhere on the page. However, if one looks at the URL, they see .../select_payment.php?error_message=There+has+been+an+error Can anyone tell me if there is something special I need to do in STS to get this to display to the customer? Is there a tag that needs to be added to the template? Or is this an issue with the payment module?

Two other things that are more important, and need to fixed right away: (1) When more than 1 shipment is the default and is manually changed back to 1, the shipping weight fractions are dropped. That is if the weight is put in as 4.4 lbs, the label is printed for 4 lbs. This can result in additional charges for the shipper if the weight is not correct. I'd prefer to have the correct weight on the label as entered. (2) The contrib is not using the tare weight (or additional weight) setting from OSC, but is just using the total weight calculated from the products. Whenever a label is printed, the weight must be manually changed. Can we get these two issues corrected ASAP? Thanks.

But wouldn't it be easier to just check the number of packages (not the number of items) and if it is greater than 1, then you go to the second screen?

Yes, however, say 3 items are ordered, your routine wants to put it in 3 boxes. Well, all of my items can fit in one box, so I change the # of shipments to 1, and I still get the second page (even though it's one box) and the additional fields (reference, invoice,etc) don't print on the label - just like was mentioned above.

Once sent, does this package show up in your FedEx.com recent shipments?

My customers (and probably yours too) often times have trouble with the default layout of the OSC Payment Page. With the button being on the right hand side of the page, they enter their CC information, (since this is my 1st choice it's on top) then hit the continue button. They don't bother clicking the button to the right, because they don't see it. Without a payment selected, OSC returns them to the payment page without an error message (that's another thread). Does anyone have a better checkout_payment.php page that works well for them and is willing to share?

I just shipped my first *real* order using this contrib - Awesome time saver. Now, one other question: Will information show up in my FedEx account when I logon to FedEx.com? I shipped over 4 hours ago, and just logged into FedEx. They have no record of the shipment. The "track" button tell me the same info.

Is this something that I would need to add or that you would add? I enter it manually at FedEx.com. It would be as easy as adding a text box to your contrib and then passing that on to FedEx. After you enter the address at FedEx.com, I click the "address check" button. This just goes into their database to make sure the address entered is deliverable. I've forgot to do this once or twice, and FedEx then charges me if they have to correct the address. This contrib would be that much better if the tracking information could automatically be included in an e-mail. Maybe as simple as adding a button to the order edit page that would automatically paste this info into the comments section. Yes - this is just so I have a record of what FedEx charged me for that shipment. It would keep me from having to go to FedEx to print these out manually. This is a great contribution - it will save lots of time having to re-enter information into FedEx.com. Keep up the good work.

OK - Figured it out. Need to have a FedEx Shipped order first. So I tested it, and it looks great - will save a lot of time. Now, some questions: When I ship on FedEx.com, > I add a reference # to the label > I use FedEx's address checking feature > I have FedEx send the customer an e-mail and add a personal note. > I print the shipment information, which includes the price Can I do any of this with this contrib?

I just added this contrib, and can't figure out where it is. The only thing I see is a FEDEX SHIPPING MANIFEST in the reports section of the admin. What did I do wrong?

Jack - YOU ARE THE MAN! It WAS missing, and now everything looks to be working! I'm sure this happened when I FTP'd the template file to another machine, made some mods, the FTP'd it back. That little comment tag got lost. Thanks again for the quick turn around!

I have the Header Tags Controller contrib installed, but for some reason, it has stopped working. All of my pages now have the pathname as the title of the page. Viewing source shows that there are no META tags in the file. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Having an issue with the latest version of Who's Online. When one of the buttons for automatic refresh is invoked, after a random amount of time, the site bombs and I get this message. Does this contribution work only with QuickBooks? Or does is support the Quicken QIF as well?

Hi all, Just wondering if someone could tell me what the phpMyAdmin/mySQL command is to delete the value of a given field in all the records. I need to do a global delete for my CC number field, as the entire number is being stored in the DB. I'm using Linkpoint API, and don't need these numbers, and the LinkPoint Contrib developer has not helped me get rid of the numbers in the application. So, I'd like to be able to do this in one fell swoop, without having to go and edit each record manually with phpMyAdmin. Thanks

OK - I guess that give me a place to start checking. I've changed the sig - it's legal in other forums, it's like a business card - not spammy in my view - but rules are rules, and I'll abide by them.

I've been notified by several customers that they've had a problem creating a new account, because OSC would come back and say that their "PW needs to be at least 3 characters long". They've stated that they have a PW that is indeed greater than 3 chars, but they still get the error message and cannot continue past this point. I have quite a few contributions installed, including STS, and autologin but I'm not sure which area to post in, since I'm not sure which contrib may be causing the problem. Has anyone else been made aware of this by their customers? Can anyone tell me what's going on and how can I fix this? I believe that I'm loosing customers due to this problem. Thanks.

I'm looking for a way to search for specific customer information. For example, if I know the customers area code, I would like to be able to enter "123" and have the search bring up all the customers with that area code. Also, it would be nice sometimes to list the customers alphabetically, by first name, or last name, or state, rather than just by customer number. Is there a way I can do all of this? I looked throuogh the CONTRIBs, but didn't see anything.
