    Easy Populate & Products Attributes

Turns out that you have to "empty" the products_to_categories table as well in phpMyAdmin. All is good.

    Easy Populate & Products Attributes

Well, the 16k product list was uploaded, and it appears that some products are being installed into the wrong categories. I'm wondering if this is a leftover from earlier uploads, where I had an issue with a column not being recognized by EP. So, WHat's the best way to clear out the DB's of all data? A resinstall? Or is there some phpMyAdmin commnds that will do it?

    Easy Populate & Products Attributes

OK, well I've nearly figured out my two issues, but a new one has arisen: How do I clear/reset the category product counts? I thought by "emptying" the DB tables would have done it, but it didn't. I've emptied the counter and counter history DB's as well but the counter keeps increasing each time I empty and re-upload the EP file.

Yup - that was it. Descriptions exceeded 32 characters, which causes a new categorie to be created each time. The fix: Shorten up the descriptions rather than increase DB size.

Hmm. So you think that all my problems (including the 0kb .png file) is related to this SEO contrib? I know that I have the SE Safe URL's turned off, and don't believe that I've done anything with the SEO contrib in question, even though it is included in OSCMax.

    Easy Populate & Products Attributes

OK, think I figured this one out on my own - in phpMyAdmin just click on the "Empty" tab. Now to figure out why each product is being uploaded into it's own category...

Oops. Forgot to mention that each of the stores in the above post are identical fresh installs of OSCMax.

    Easy Populate & Products Attributes

Hey all: I'm currently working on two stores: the first has ~1400 products. I've used EP and uploaded the products with little problem. This store has three levels of categories (main, sub, and sub-sub). Everything worked fine. Now, the second store has ~16,000 products, again with three levels of categories (main, sub, and sub-sub). Now, when I upload the EP file, each product is given it's OWN CATEGORY. So now, I have ~16000 categories, many with the same name!! So my questons. (1) What's the easiest way to do a mass delete of these categories? Doing it in phpMyAdmin 500 at a time takes alot of time. Is there an easy SQL script that will do it? The same need to happen with the categorie description table. (2) What's the issue with EP causing this to happen? I've noticed that some of my descriptions are too long and are being truncated, is this the problem? Bottom line, I don't want to experiment myself since this DB is so large (and clearing it out and trying something new will waste lots of time), I'd like to get it fixed with one shot if possible. Thanks.

    Automated FedEx Labels

Yeah, I tried that. Makes no difference in the results. Still get sent back to the login screen rather than the label being displayed on the screen.

    Automated FedEx Labels

I just installed a fresh copy of OSCMax 2.0 that has this contrib. I went through the entire 24 pages of posts, and found the exact error I'm getting, with no solution posted. Problem is: (1) Once the form is complete, and the image of the label is supposed to appear on screen, I get sent back to the Admin login screen. (2) The .png file is getting created with the tracking number, but it is 0 bytes. (3) When I cancel the order, it's marked as such, but I get sent back to the Admin login screen once again. I beleive this is using v1.11 of the contrib, however, I'm not exactly certain. Any ideas?

    [Contribution] Dynamic MoPics

So, all of the main product images have to be in the images folder, not in a subfolder of images/ in order for MoPics to work?

    Easy Populate & Products Attributes

Hey All: Searched through the last fewpages of the Easy Populate thread but didn't seem to see anything regarding my question. Question is: I'm able to upload, and EP takes the upload (with the exception of the problem with ' - Arrgg!) anyway, I have a column for dates, but OSC is coming back with "This product was added to our catalog on ." It's not taking the date that I've entered in the sheet. Any ideas?

Awesome. Been on the horn with my ISP, but it's not their fault! YeahYeahYeah - dude thanks.
  15. Just wondering if the Linkpoint Gateway is working for anyone since the server migration. I gave up on the automatic processing on Tuesday, and have been running the cards manually. Just wondering how many other folks are back on line with their OSC store and the LinkPoint API contrib.

    LinkPoint Error Message Display Fix

UPDATE: That is only if you are using the CC_VALIDATION contrib in conjunction with the LinkPoint API.

    LinkPoint Error Message Display Fix

Well, after I got my store back up and running after the LinkPoint Migration, I started looking into why LinkPoint transaction errors are not being shown. As far as I can tell, ANYONE that is using the latest LinkPoint API contribution from Clifton Murphy is having this problem. To fix it, do the following: Look for LINKPOINTMS1.PHP in your /catalog/includes/modules/payments folder. Open the file for editing and look for the following code, near line 284. # Returns: statusCode 1 if successful, 0 or -1 if not # statusMessage An error message if an error occurred # AVSCode The AVS code returned by the transaction # trackingID An ID for tracking the order with the gateway # I STILL NEED TO SAVE THESE VALUES INTO THE DATABASE replace the next four lines (the IF statement) with the following: if ($myresult["statusCode"] != '1') { tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PAYMENT, 'payment_error=' . $this->code . '&error=' . urlencode(MODULE_PAYMENT_LINKPOINTMS1_TEXT_ERROR_MESSAGE) . ': ' . $myresult["statusMessage"], 'SSL', true, false)); } } Now, when your users encounter a "declined" message from LinkPoint, it will automatically be displayed at the top of the "checkout_payment" page that they get returned to. Enjoy.

    [contribution] Simple Template System (sts)

I found the problem. The problem is actually in the LINKPOINTMS1.PHP module and has nothing to do with STS. See my other post (LinkPoint Error Message Display Fix)for a solution.

    [contribution] Simple Template System (sts)

I'm running MS2 2.2 and either STS has removed a provision for errors to appear, or I screwed something up. What happens is that when a user get's an error, say in the payment module, it shows in the URL, but nowhere in the page. The author of the payment module says there is a table line missing in the code in application_top. Can someone post that code?

    LinkPoint Gateway Working for Anyone?

Well, I spoke once again with Cliff Murphy, the most recent author of the Linkpoint API of OSC. After he checked out my site (Thanks again Cliff!) he was suspicious of the port 1129 not being available on my webserver. I then filed a support ticket with my ISP, and they said that the port was probably being blocked by the firewall. Within minutes, the allowed the port and my site is back up and running with the LinkPoint API contribution.

LinkPoint Unable to connect to SSL

I was panicking, but now I'm OK. I just disabled the liinkpoint CC module, and am using the generic CC module until LP get's back on it's feet.
  22. DriWashSolutions

LinkPoint Unable to connect to SSL

I just spoke with Cliff Murphy on the phone. He assured me that the problems/errors with processing is purely on LinkPoints side, and not on the module side. He believes it has to do with DNS servers, and the secure.linkpt.net IP not being propagated through the network yet.

LinkPoint Unable to connect to SSL

Well, when customers click the "Confirm Order" button, after about 30seconds, it comes back with the browser error: The page cannot be displayed The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings. Any ideas?

LinkPoint Unable to connect to SSL

Doesn't work for me. Tried changing just the IP first: NO GOOD. Then tried changing the IP and the PORT to 1139 (mine is 1129): NO GOOD. Still trying to get a hold of Clifton Murphy.

LinkPoint Unable to connect to SSL

I'm one of those stores where the CC processing is not working since the migration. I've tried contact Clifton Murphy by e-mail and phone (the Contrib Author from HyperActiveHosting, but cannot get ahold of him. My port is 1129, and I haven't made this mod yet. The odd thing is that it worked all weekend, and up until Monday night I was getting orders. The Linkpoint Phone Support Line says there are still issues, but the website (www.linkpoint.com) says it's up and running. I would sure like to know if there's anything I need to do to my store to get things back up and running again, or if it all lies on linkpoint's side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
