Is the AVS error built in it? Im using the stock authorize.net and i also have that code in there. Any other suggestions?

Ok so i use authorize.net for my payment gateway. I have the AVS system set up to minimize fradulant transactions. Now ironically when i was putting a test order through with my own card i accidently put in the worng address so my card was declined. But here is my problem and i cant seem to find any other forum post that deals with it. Instead of OScommerce telling the customer your card was declined and possibly the reason why it just brings you back to the page were you would reenter CC info. Now as a customer i would just think that the stores shopping cart system is screwed up and my card was fine. Now my question is....is there a mod or some way to fix this. At the least have it say your card was declined because your billing addy didnt match up with your address on your credit card? Thanks Joey

Maybe im not reading it right .... But i "have" to put in all the weights for shipping purposes or not? I dont want to do that like i said. I guess i dont understand why i would se the products weight to equal the price of the product?? Ill pass this info on to my programmer and/or web designer, im sure he will understand what you are talkin aout more then i would. Thanks

I dont want shipping by weight. I want it by price. Maybe i read your post wrong, but that is what you are telling me to do right? Just put the weights in every product to calculate shipping? I have over 2,000 products, that would just be to much work for something real little as a free shipping section. Ive also heard to many bad things about weight shipping. Most customers hate it because they get charged to much shipping, and i hate it because i would have to eat up to much shipping on a lot of orders. People like to be able to see exactly how much shipping is going to cost without having to put the product into thier cart to see how much it will cost. Someone please help! Thansk

Hi, I was wondering if there is one or if someone would be willing to build it.... I own a online store which is set up were shipping is calculated by dollar amount of order. Example: 0-24.99 - 5.00 shipping 25-29.99 - 8.00 shipping etc.... I want to have a section of 20ish products that have free shipping on just those products. As far as i know this isnt a normal function with OScommerce, and i cant seem to find a module allready built for it.... any help would be appreciated very much. The module would have to make sure that the free shipping would only be on those select products. So say a guy bought a 50 dollar product out of the free shipping section but also bought a 5.00 product he would still be charged 5.00 shipping because he bought a product out of the free shipping section. BUT he wouldnt e charged foshipping on teh whole order. (his total order was 55.00 and say shipping on 55.00 is set up as 10.00, it shouldnt be 10.00 because he bought the one product out of the free shipping section, so it dont count as total order for the regular shippin chart amount.)
