  1. Quantity Tracking Professional v0.1 beta (prereleased). Enables you to define quantity for options of a product. For example, allowing you to not only keep track of quantity of a particular item, but also it's options. This is a beta release, you can try the online demo. If you decide to download the beta, please note it is not complete and I am estimating another 7 days before it's actually finished and the first complete version can be released. Fixing: The Product Info page still needs a little work aswell as the Stock Page. Let me know what you think, Joseph S.
  2. I am using a free shipping module and I want to know if there is a way to only allow free shipping to only in 48 states without the free shipping option being available at checkout for international customers and Hawaii/Alaska customers. I really ain't interested in paying $20 to $30 to ship an item internationally. Thank You, Joe
  3. After getting osCommerce installed and currently being worked on. I noticed the biggest flaw is the fact that there is no way of controlling stock beyond what you have for that specific product. So if your offering different sizes or colors or both, there is no way of tracking stock for that. Since I determined that this is probably the most important add-on to osCommerce, I am currently having this developed. How the module is plan to work. There will be sub attributes that can be made for the main attributes, each level of attributes, the stock can adjusted. By adjusting the stock at the bottom of the tree (or the last attributes) it will auto adjust all attributes stock above it aswell as the master stock level for that product. The example shows how it should work or appear. 1. My master stock for "Jordan 23 Shirts" are 30 available (master stock). 2. I have 10 available (a stock) in size "Large" (Main Attribute) a. 5 available (b stock) of size "Large" in color white (Sub Attribute) b. 3 available (b stock) of size "Large" in color blue (Sub Attribute) c. 2 available (b stock) of size "Large" in color red (Sub Attribute) 3. I have 15 available (a stock) in size "Medium" (Main Attribute) a. 5 available (b stock) of size "Medium" in color white (Sub Attribute) b. 6 available (b stock) of size "Medium" in color blue (Sub Attribute) c. 4 available (b stock) of size "Medium" in color red (Sub Attribute) 4. I have 5 available (a stock) in size "Small" (Main Attribute) a. 2 available (b stock) of size "Small" in color white (Sub Attribute) b. 2 available (b stock) of size "Small" in color blue (Sub Attribute) c. 1 available (b stock) of size "Small" in color red (Sub Attribute) The attributes will be definable, stock for each attribute aswell as sub attributes will be definable. It will show on the customer end aswell in usual drop down box. In the admin, it will use the idea based on the Alternative Product Attribute Handling Method by David Garcia Watkins, so you simply add what attributes to have right on the New Products form aswell as adjust stock. I'm having this script made exclusively for http://www.zonetown.com however I plan to make it available as open source to the osCommerce community once finished. If you have a suggestions, please express it. Joe
  4. I did it again, I lost my mind. yea wrong file not to mention the wrong url. Here it is again... http://vary.net/qtpro/download/patch/product_info.zip Joe
  5. MSWOOHEE, the directory stucture you gave me looks very similar to the ENSIM CP. I made QTpro to function on cPanel and not on ENSIM and Plesk because of how difficult it is to work with them. I am surprise you got osCommerce to even work on it. The problem I had was not being able to send emails to anyone. Several other small problems eventually popped up. Joe
  6. that was a simple fix about the adding products to cart. I just nulled out the auto checked. You can download it on the following url. http://vary.net/qtpro/download/product_info.zip I actually had this fix for awhile, but I was having some personal problems and everything else. I'm sorry for the delay. Joe I am aware of other problems...
  7. This module is pretty complex and I am still working out some minor bugs. It has consume a bit of my time and will be a bit before I get everything corrected. The QTpro project is in the mist of being handed down to Linda McGrath of http://www.thewebmakerscorner.com in hopes she will improve the contribution. Show your support to her for taking over QTpro project. I will be updating the site with the last Patch and Version soon hopefully. It will fix the auto checked on the catalog product info page, that is causing it to show up as null on the shopping cart. Right now, this module is not made to be supported with Buy it Now feature. If you want to use QTpro, disable that feature. Maybe in the future or someone will figure a solution for this. Thanks, Joe
  8. I fixed the link... Also I am working on the diff file, may be a few days though.
  9. VERSION 2.0 This is the all new with many enhancements and some bug fixes. This version is completely bug free as far as I know. Try it out. http://vary.net/qtpro - download site
  10. I have a PATCH for QTpro v1.0. Please visit, http://www.vary.net/qtpro and scroll to the Patches section. This will show required patches for QTpro. Joe
  11. MY BAD... I forgot some TABLES!!! LoL I am working on putting them together so it can be added to your tables. Joe
  12. does this error only occurs with your current products or for all current and new products?
  13. cPIL v1.0 - Catalog Product Info List This is important to have if you don't want your customers fumbling trying to find what is actually instock. Go to the QTpro site for an image of cPIL and to download the current version. It will not be in the demo until the next release of QTpro. http://www.vary.net/qtpro in the add-ons section I am working on trying to get a diff file for people who don't like to replace files or have already made alot of modification to thier script.
  14. I release the script early without that part. By the end of the day, I hope to come out with one that will list what is available. I also will depend on others who wish to contribute to this project. Thank You...
  15. Download QTpro v1.0. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,888
  16. Just to let you know, I am fixing some areas of the module so QTpro can officially be released and used commercial. BETA version can still be downloaded. I need to also give credit to David Garcia Watkins for his alternate attribute contribution that was used in QTpro Joe

    Attributes Stock Tracking (development)

Just to explain what needs to be fixed or planned to be added. "NEW PRODUCT" form "PRODUCT QUANTITY" field needs to be an un-editable box. "NEW PRODUCT" form needs shortcut to "STOCK" page. "NEW PRODUCT" form needs "UPDATE/REFRESH" button (maybe) Move the Attribute Tables Contributions from "NEW PRODUCT" form to "STOCK" page and add a "UPDATE/REFRESH" button. (probably) I am still debating on how it will be displayed on customer's end. It will probably be displayed together in either a drop down box or radio box. Joe

  19. Quantity Tracking for Multiple Options: This is let everyone who was interested in a way to be able to keep track of options other then just the product (i.e. size and color, memory and megabytes, and etc.) This is done by splitting the master quantity of a product in several smaller groups of smaller quantity, enabling you to be able to update the groups quantity that will update the master quantity itself. Pretty simple concept, just getting it to work flawlessly might take a little more time. Christmas, New Years, and bad weather also played it's role in delaying progress. I'll give it a few more days for the script to be done. If you want to recieve a copy of the script when it is finished, you may send me an email at joe@zonetown.com and I will add you to the list to recieve the prereleased version for beta testing once available.

    Attributes Stock Tracking (development)

UPDATE Just to show that I didn't forget about you guys, I have some pictures (not best quality) to show some areas of progress. http://snone.com/stock/1.jpg - where you can define quantity levels http://snone.com/stock/2.jpg - using a contribution found on osCommerce. Module will be enhanced on finished version. I have to say, it's actually coming out good. If you compare these two pictures and look at the stock numbers, you can see how they work together. email me if you have any questions or suggestions.

    Free Shipping Module US only

The date on my oscommerce default script is 2002/07/21 and I am using Freeshipping with minimum order amount (i.e. spend $150 and recieve free shipping) What might be helpful is a similar script that instead of giving free shipping, it reduces the shipping. So in the US, the shipping would be free and all international customer shipping would be reduce by so much if minimum amount is met. Thanks for any help, Joe
