  1. Wonderful contribution, works perfectly. Just one suggestion. It may have been mentioned here but there are a lot of pages. Affiliate TEXT LINKS are just based on the banners, and produce codes like Not a very good TEXT LINK :( Is there a way to fix or improve upon this? TIA

  3. It's there now, sometimes it just the links just dissapear ?? I have been into your site a few times and see no issues with the newsdesk Steve, It is still happening. It must have something to do with the switching back and forth of ssl. You are probably not going to see the problem unless you register. Logged in as a customer, after viewing pages in the site, the new categories contents dissapears. It reappears in the next session. V

  5. Personally, I don't care whether the images are added or removed, I just don't like to see the broken images. BTW, I have found another bug. Suddenly, the categories in the NEWS CATEGORIES box is empty. I don't know if that's what you will see because the categories were listed there yesterday and I made no further changes, but they are gone...just a blank box. http://cybermidi.com/catalog
  6. I don't know if I had the problem beforehand, but it works now. The only suggestion I have is that after posting the review, it should say "thank you for your review. It will be released after admin approval" or something like that. Not totally necessary, but a nice touch. Also, when editing the review, there are 3 missing images to the right.
  7. After further looking into it, it appears the review system doesn't work. After I write a test review as a customer, and click continue, the next screen says there are currently no reviews. BACK ...WRITE REVIEW I go into admin and click review management. I see the article with no title, then the stars. I click on approve, but going back to the article it shows no reviews. I went over the installation 3 times to see if it was me, but I don't see any errors on my part.
  8. Never mind...I had to remove a previous FIX from general.php and now it works fine. Thanks again.
  9. Thanks for the update. Catalog side works well, but I still have trouble in admin. for example, article management returns Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_get_uploaded_file() (previously declared in /www/mywebsitei/htdocs/catalog/admin/includes/functions/general.php:1385) ?
  10. I meant line 333 and there is no install file for the very latest release. You mentioned you added a new line of code. Install.txt is simply a copy of newsdesl.sql

  12. I also am still having trouble getting Newsdesk to work. In the "sql fix", I still see these characters at the very bottom: ???€r€n€r€ 'hehe, after almost a week of effort I was able to finish this part of the mod.€r€n€r€nI hope that you all enjoy it!'), (3, 1, 'I wonder who€ll approve this review just to read it ???€r€n€r€n:-D'); When I click "read more" on a news story, the page just keeps refreshing And on the index page from the code in column right, I get Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: newsdeskboxheading in /www/c/mywebsite/htdocs/catalog/includes/boxes/newsdesk.php on line 121

  14. No need to be sorry, it comes with the territory, and your hard work is appreciated. By the way, it appeared to fix the problem and everything I mentioned is working. Just one minor thing, the page that shows "there are No products in your wishlist, I would like to include the third column. I only have column left, and the rest of the page shows My Wishlist contains: No products are in your Wishlist It's correct, but I would like to see the third column (with shopping cart, etc) Thanks

  16. Actually, I think I narrowed it down to application top file. It's a mess with 2.01 lines and 2.02 lines, I have no idea what it should look like. I also have other mods in there....there is no case_cust_order to look for, probably due to some mods so I don't know where to add the latest modification. If you can can take a look at the file, I uploaded as text to http://www.cybermidi.com/application_top.txt I appreciate it.
  17. I had version 2.2, then I installed 2.2b. I really don't want to look through all the files for the changes.. were there any changes recently done to the core files?
  18. In addition to the reported problem, the page..tHERE ARE NO ITEMS IN YOUR WISHLIST doesn't show the RIGHT column. How do I fix that? I also cannot move Items to my Cart from the wishlist. Nothing happens. Were any core files "modified" in the latest release? Finally, send a wishlist to a friend..again the screen refreshes and nothing happens.
  19. Got a BIG wishlist problem... I can't quite figure out why this is happening. I have digital downloads, so after adding items to the cart, checkout used to go right to the payment screen (skipping the shipping). A customer complained to me that she was being taken to the shipping screen. I couldn't figure out why she was having that problem cause everything worked fine from my end...so I asked if she could send me a screenshot. I noticed that she had an item in the wishlist. So I duplicated her screen by adding an item to the wishlist...then went to checkout...and now I had the same problem..I am taken to the Shipping page. I removed the item from the wishlist, but now, no matter what I do, I end up on the shipping page. I can't figure out how to fix this. Any ideas? Is the problem in cookies, sessions, temp files????

  21. The group discount mod works great, except I have a dilemma. I wish to give a group...let's say members a discount. If I choose let's say 15%, and the product cost up to $20, that's fine. But if a product cost about $100, 15% may be a little too much and cuts into profits. Even more so as the price rises. If anyone has come up with, or can come up with a way to scale the discount (I saw a contribution that does this, but it works for ALL customers, not just groups.) For example, a group discount of 15% on all prices up to $25, 10% on all prices up to $50, 5% on all prices up to $100, etc. Thanks
  22. Sorry, I have to ask again since I did not recieve a response from my question a few pages back. This bug needs to be corrected if it's in the contribution.
