    [CONTRIBUTION] Subcategory textboxes

Problem solved. I needed to change $HTTP_POST_VARS to $_POST as well as $HTTP_GET_VARS to $_GET and this fixed it.

    [CONTRIBUTION] Subcategory textboxes

Hi There, I have just installed this contribution (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7841) on a 2.3.1 site, and all seemed to go fine. In Admin I see everything fine except there seems to be no way to add anything any text to a category or subcategory. Have I done something wrong here, or am I missing something about how I should add text to a category? Can anyone tell me what I should be seeing to allow me to add text please? Any help would be much appreciated. Best regards, Ian

    Sage pay Server Error 5006

I'm pretty sure that the problem is that & changes to & and thus looks like a different url. Try using oscommerce's own search engine friendly urls. This has worked for me with a similar problem, and if it may work for you with this.
  4. This will depend on the individual contribution. Some will work fine, but many will need to be changed to suit 2.3.

    German and Austrian Address Problem

Hi Geoffrey, Gotcha. I changed it in the countries table. The only two countries set to 5 were Austria and Germany. Many thanks for that. Best regards, Ian

    German and Austrian Address Problem

Hi Geoffrey, Thanks for the help. I have found the table in the database but I'm not sure what needs changing to fix the problem. Sorry if that sounds stupid. Best regards, Ian
  8. If a customer creates an account with an address in Germany or Austria then their State/County/Province does not show in their address book. If they go in to their account and edit their address to show a different country then the State/County/Province will display correctly. There must be some bug that is causing this to happen, as you will get the same result if you sign up for an account on the oscommerce demo site. As far as I can see this is just for Germany and Austria. I have gone through PHPMyAdmin and deleted the German and Austrian zones and reinstalled them very carefully, but the same thing happens. When you get an email informing you about an order from someone with a German/Austrian address the state will not be displayed there either. This may be a big problem if the full address of the customer is not passed to PayPal. Anybody have any ideas?
  9. Hi Petravu, I've had the same problem too, so I asked the question here http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/233591-attribute-qty-product-info/page__st__160 Maybe check this page for answers, as this is the actual support page for the contribution, and the guy that wrote the contribution is really on the ball and very helpful.

    Attribute Qty Product Info

Hi Jack, In 2.3.1, the only thing that shows are "Option Model Price Quantity", but no actual options/checkboxes. Do you know what needs changing to get this to work on 2.3.1, as this is such a really useful contribution, and it would really help me out (and many others too I think) to get this working. Many thanks, Ian
  11. I've sorted this problem out. Turns out that it did not play well with another contribution - MySQLi Extension (ver. 0.1-Beta) for OsC 2.x (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8168). I disabled the mysqli and all works fine again. Great contribution Scott, thanks very much for this.
  12. Sorry, I should have explained more than I did above. The Warning: mysql_num_rows... shows on the product_info.php page. oscommerce version 2.31. The discount is actually shown correctly on checkout confirmation though. I tried installing Better Together 1.0.2 using the same exact code that works perfectly on a local site on another online site and there nothing at all shows up on the product_info.php page in this case. Server there is PHP Version 5.2.17 / MySQL 5.1.56 if that is important. I also tried using the older version (1.0.1) of Better Together but same result. I'd really appreciate some help here if anyone has a clue what's happened.
  13. Hi There, I have installed Better Together on my local computer (WAMP) and it works fine, but once I add exactly the same code to the online version of my site I get this: Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /..../..../public_html/includes/modules/order_total/ot_better_together.php on line 418 Can anyone help me here please? I just can't figure this out.
  14. Hi Parikesit, I found that by changing the last line in admin/includes/configure.php file from: define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); to: define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysqli'); then this works. Hope this helps. Regards, Ian
  15. Hi Parikesit, This works fine for the catalog, but fails for the admin for some reason when I have tried it, (version 2.31). Any ideas? Regards, Ian
