  1. Thanks for the response. No, we are not using the stock limitations. The issue is not the stock numbers. The problem is with product attributes. For example, the product may come in many sizes and colors. Using Product Attributes, we give the ability to the customer to choose a color or size. These choices are added to the order, per item. These choices are displayed properly in the shopping cart and on the checkout order summary before it goes to paypal. BUT once the transaction returns from Paypal, we lose all of the attribute choices. The result is we have no idea what size or color product to send to the customer, as it does not show up on the order. I'm starting to wonder if Paypal is even worth the trouble...
  2. I used the latest version available at the link I posted - PayPal_IPN v2.3.4.5
  3. FWIW, I downloaded a different Paypal IPN module than the one distributed with RC2. There were more configuration options and lo and behold, the orders get updated properly even if the user does not click continue on the paypal site. So that part is solved. Here is the module I am now using: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2679 BUT - another issue continues to loom - we are losing product attributes AFTER payment is received from paypal. I have verified the attributes are in the cart/order BEFORE sending to paypal. anyone have any ideas of where to track this issue?
  4. So where exactly IS the notify URL in my code? Or where is it SUPPOSED to be? The issue is the URL is not properly being passed to Paypal to begin with. Therefore the transaction never completes, as far as OSCommerce is concerned. Is there a config file somewhere I am not aware of? It's certainly not in the config for the PayPal payment module.
  5. I too am suffering from this exact issue. I am using the latest Paypal Standard included in the latest RC2. When you mention the IPN file - where do I find this exactly? Do we need to configure auto-return on paypal's side? Or does this have anything to do with it? I also see one can Manually set the IPN URL on the paypal site. If necessary, what would this URL be? If these are mere configuration issues, they sorely need to be clarified in Documentation.
  6. Bump to this topic - I too have the same need.
  7. Does anyone have any insights to share regarding the E-xact 1.03 gateway and how to get it working for the latest builds of OSCommerce (2.2)? In test mode it seems to work fine. In production mode, all transactions are denied with no error code. Checking with e-xact, all IDs and passwords are correct. They are not seeing any transaction attempts on their end. I double-checked the post url and it is correct.
