jaggster started following Simple Checkout - for 2.3.1 (official support thread) and eparcel (Australia) backend system

Any progress on this? As I don't use a windows operating system I cannot use eparcel online. Would that be different using your addon in oscommerce 2.3.x? Regards, John

debugging Discount Code module for osCommerce 2.3.1
jaggster replied to jeni.keliikuli's topic in Order Total Modules
Jeni did you ever get this issue sorted? I have been using discount codes on my 2.3.1 store for a long time with all going well. But lately, even if the correct code is entered, the graphic returned is for a fail, even though on the confirmation page the discount has been correctly included. Anyone else come across this? -
Simple Checkout - for 2.3.1 (official support thread)
jaggster replied to fulluvscents's topic in General Add-Ons Support
This is an excellent contribution as the standard oscommerce checkout is too complicated. Unfortunately I can't get this addon to work fully. When customer is not logged in when the addon redirects to checkout.php I get the error "1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY zone_id' at line 5 SELECT zone_id FROM zones_to_geo_zones WHERE geo_zone_id = 3 AND zone_country_id = ORDER BY zone_id [TEP STOP] My host server is using PHP v 5.2.17 When the customer is logged in to their account, all works fine BUT PayPal does not charge the tax of 10% on the shipping price. I don't know what I am doing wrong. -
SMART CHECKOUT (official support thread)

Is it able to handle credit card payments via api? -
Sorry I meant to call the second addon with order status batch processing capability Order Controller http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5898 not Multple Order Status change.
-
The addon Admin Comments toolbar is a fantastic addon that works well in 2.3.1. So is the Multiple order status change addon. Now all I would need is to fuse the two together so the Admin Comments toolbar addon has the batch functionality of Multiple Order Status Change. Has anyone tried to do this? A fusion of the two would be the ultimate addon and time saver!

fatal error after installing theme switcher add on
jaggster replied to ShannonScott's topic in Templates and Images
Hi, I just added Admin_theme_switcher v1.0 for 2.3.1 http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7749/v,23 and when I go to log into admin I get a blank page at login. Any ideas on where it went wrong? Or at least how to force the error to show? -
I am having the same problem, also. However in my case the problem is intermittent. many customers fly through the checkout process all ok. Others try and end up with nothing in the cart and no order, as described by Michael. Answers anyone?

I installed latest VTS and ran it. It found "possibly" infected files and potential threats, mostly of the form: Possible Infection: /usr/local/pem/vhosts/103373/webspace/httpdocs/[fake catalog]/includes/functions/general.php (Known automated hack <=> eval( ) on line: 506 or Possible Infection: /usr/local/pem/vhosts/103373/webspace/httpdocs/[my catalog]/[my admin]/jquery/fancybox/jquery.fancybox-1.3.4.pack.js (Known automated hack <=> iframe) on line: 20 Are there any valid uses of eval() and iframe ? How do I know if it is or isn't infected? Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

After fiddling around with some addons the appearance of admin panel has been spoiled. I have lost left hand boxes although all the content is there as linked text. So I am wondering where the source for the panel resides and if I can replace the messed up file with an original file to restore appearance of admin login page and admin panel? Thnx.
