Anyone having problems with their USPS Methods shipping module? All was good for like ever and then all of a sudden it stopped working. Mine has not been working for over a week. If yours is working...or not...please reply to this thread and let me know. This is driving me crazy. Kurt

Hey! Ive had USPS Methods up and running for a while now and tonight Im getting errors in the shipping module. The delivery method names have disappeared and the are some strange characters. I removed and reinstalled the module and re-entered my setting but with no luck. Anyone else having problems with their shipping module? Kurt

There is only one thing I cant get to work with this contrib. The order totals dont show up in the order confirmation email. Ive had to change the variables to work with Paypal IPN but cant get the order totals variable to work. Anyone resolved this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Updating jquery seemed to fix it although i had to clear my cache like 5 times b4 it worked! Thanx! Kal

What should the permission for the pages file be? Its the same as the other files. Tried other permissions with no difference. The manufacturer, index and products files seem to be fine (when i looked inside them) but the categories file lists each of my categories 3 times (i only have 2 categories and there are 6 entries in the file) I am at a loss. Only 1 of my sitemaps failed to be created with the standard file. Alternate was a complete fail. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Anybody want to share a fix for the UNWANTED CHARACTERS problem? Any help would be great! Kurt

So i installed and eveything looks good... Couple of questions: Im hoping the sitemap and rss functions still work with the menu system turned off? My rss page lists my oldest products first and wanted to flip them the other way (newest products first) Where would I change the code to fix this? Should I reset the cache whenever i add products to update the rss and sitemap? Many thanx for your help!! Kurt

Thanx for the reply! I dont offer too many shipping options just: Media Mail Prority Mail and First Class International Priority Mail International So hopefully i wouldnt have any problems. What I am really looking for (besides a working store after May 2011) is a way to offer insurance to my customers as my products are prone to damage. I see in your cart you have many shipping options with their cost as well as an "insured for" quote. I chose a shipping option but then didnt see how to have it insured...maybe i missed it...i dont know. I want my customers to be able to choose a shipping option THEN any corresponding insurance for that option...is this possible? I thank you for your help! Kurt

Hey! Im looking for a good usps shipping module....and this looks promising. Does anyone have a link to some screenshots of this contribution in action? Maybe a "domestic/US" screenshot and an "international" screenshot? Does anyone have the latest upload of this contribution working the way they want? Are there many updates to the latest package that need to be made? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Kurt
