  1. @ArtcoInc, thanks for filling me in with history. Your reply made me laugh and made my afternoon. I will continue to "bitch" when I need something. LOL!
  2. To follow up, it's insanity and stupidity that not all boxes' title colors and font styles change with what is above alone. Some boxes change and some are left out. Some box's title fonts should be changed from this block in default CSS file, stylesheet.css. Put color setting to it like .infoBoxHeading { color: red; } So half boxes can be changed with above, and other half: catalog\ext\jquery\ui\redmond\jquery-ui-1.10.4.min.css file here: .ui-widget-header a{color:#000000} I am not pleased with such stupidity, but I guess I should say thanks for this free products... Who the hell decided to mess up these CSS files? Previous versions architecture made sense. My store is here: www.aaw.link/market/
  3. I figured it out. We have to change catalog\ext\jquery\ui\redmond\jquery-ui-1.10.4.min.css file here: .ui-widget-header a{color:#000000} That file by default is messed up with missing RETURN CARRIAGES, so it will appear like one big run on line for many. Put proper returns after lines and change that line. It's about at line 153, but line numbers are different for us. I really think idiots make different CSS files to achieve these looks that are not that complex...
  4. New version v2.3.4.1 CSS isn't like older version. Can't find how to change Font types and colors as appeared in image below. Does anyone know how? Why the hell these developers keep changing unnecessary file like this? I am pissed! I didn't use oscommerce for about 3 years and now have to hunt how they organized and structured files and directories to customize how I want the appearance to be.
  5. SSL Requirement

I've been away with current oscommerce topics for about five months. I got my google merchant accout suspended... I thought it was because my domain was inactive in transferred process. I got my domain working back on and a google staff told me that my OSC store isn't secure with SSL. So they won't restore it. They want SSL now for my site. The address processing for customers must be with SSL page it says. Do we have new updates that takes care of this. I have version 2.3.3.4. So the version 2.3.4 addresses this issue? Do I need SSL now. It's expensive $50/year at my server. My yahoo server can have domain like https://p.secure.hostingprod.com/@aawisdom.com and I will need a HTML frame set to fix this. I think it would be bad for search engine to crawl if I put up a HTML FRAME SET, right? Isn't there a way we can modify the OSC so the we don't take customer sign up info out of SSL from paypal check out?
  6. I installed at www.aawisdom.com/store. It didn't work. I got this installed Consolidated Login with Guest Checkout for 2.3.1 v1.0. If yours really supposed to work, I can only think of three reasons why it didn't work. 1. Because Guest Checkout required me to erase create_account.php. 2. My facebook App was in "Sand Box" mode." 3. My store has Configuration->Session-> Force Cookie Use to be false. However, the google login also didn't work. Now I will test at aawisdom.com/store2 and try again. Guest Checkout isn't installed there. Lastly, not only it didn't work, it messed up all sign up and caused errors. All new sign up will get this message if I kept it installed: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '1,1' at line 1 insert into customers_info (customers_info_id, customers_info_number_of_logons, customers_info_date_account_created, valid_address, personal_details_valid) values ('25', '0', now()),1,1 Any sugesstion or clarification?

  8. [Addon] Generic Box

BUG FOUND: It works, but at the admin panel in the content (the last field where you are supposed to fill in the codes) it is showing the field boxes (like to enter your email address and names or whatever your HTML and script code is supposed to produce) and fields are showing with back slashes like: \"\" and \"Subscribe\". If I were to modify the Title or other box fields above without touching these HTML or script codes I entered before, it will enter more and more back slashes in my codes and it will not work anymore unless I reenter new codes in that last box. For example: <p align=\\\"center\\\"><input type=\\\"submit\\\" value=\\\"Subscribe\\\" name=\\\"subscribe\\\" id=\\\"mc-embedded-subscribe\\\" /> </p> </form> </div> The line above is the product after thrid edit from my last of my HTML codes. They are only supposed to look like this: <p align="center"><input type="submit" value="Subscribe" name="subscribe" id="mc-embedded-subscribe" /> </p> </form> </div> Do you see that each time you edit, it put extra back slash in the codes? Please fix it.
