    Problems installing Multiple Contributions

Thanks for the reply Burt. I've been told that .... "because of the SPPC contribution you can not hide products or remove the prices to visitors. Also, I looked a couple of contributions for Approving Members and the code for SPPC, again this will not be possible. I am afraid I am out of suggestions for you. SPPC really limits the choices of compatible contributions." Burt, I cannot imagine that I'm the only one who has tried to have hidden products and SPPC on the same site. I just happened to see this contribution this morning. http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/3059 Looks like it was added yesterday. I wonder if this will makea difference. I am not much of a coder as you put it and I am looking for a person who I can rely on to work with me on this. I've spent over three weeks trying to get this done and even paid a forum member what he was asking and it not working and now Im being told its not possible. Very nice guy and all but I really need to get this done. Erik
  2. I've been working with a member of this forum to install several contributions on my osCommerce site. After careful consideration he's determined that you cannot install SPPC with some other contributions such as Hidden Products and Approving Members. From what I understand SPPC's code interferes with other contributions. Has anyone ever run into this and does anyone have a resolution? Erik

    [Contribution] oscThumb

I installed oscThumb ... followed the directions and was pretty sure that I was good to go. However, I still seem to be able to control the image sizes from Admin >> Configuration >> Images as opposed to the Admin >> Configuration >> oscThumb menu. I also know its not working because the images still look pixelated. I've checked the permissions and double checked that I uploaded all the files. Anyone have any ideas on what to check? Thanks for the help. Erik

  5. I am new to osCommerce and til now I have been posting in the v.3 section but I have v.2 so I guess I need to start posting my questions in here... I am trying to install the following contribution. I thought it would be as simple as dropping the file into place but apparently its not. Can anyone point me in the right direction. http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/716 Thanks in advance. Erik
