    I just quote from google
    All what google says is they recommend or say it is good practice to make the URLs read-friendly so that customers/users can read or use the URL as link or navigation guide.
    It doesn't say one word that it will improve your SEO because of that. Google just says you should keep it organized. Another quote
    Again, no mention of SEO benefit. Visitor friendly does not equal better SEO or SEO results.

    Lastly, everyone can do what they want with their shop site it is their website and they should know what their customers might want. Look at Amazon, eBay or some other big shop they all have different URLs, some long, some short, some easier to read, some are super long and complicated. Important is that the "real" SEO stuff in your shop is working as it should then you'll end up getting good search results.
    So what @burt said isn't wrong at all. User friendly URLs have nothing to do with SEO.

    I have just uploaded a version of this addon to https://apps.oscommerce.com/Apps&wwEZ9&order-editor-for2-3-v1-0
    It is reworked to use a header tags module instead of making changes to the checkout files to record the shipping method. This will also record it when the order was created by a payment method and not in checkout_process. It also uses the hooks mechanism to change admin orders. It is only necessary to change core code to make the order editor accessible from the list view of admin orders (by extending the hooks) or if the store records credit card information another change is required.
    I recommend that people who have installed previous versions take edit_orders_ajax.php from this version.

    Just hide the country input field if you only ship domestic. You can hide it by using the hidden class. See link below.

    @brian_cee
    What I think @raiwa was saying is ... if your customer starts to fill out the form, the State drop-down will list only the States for the default Country. If your customer is in another Country, they will not be able to select the correct State *UNTIL* they select their Country. *THEN*, the State field will refresh (and I *think* it will defaulting to the first State available for that country). Your customer will then have to go back and select the correct State.
    So, @raiwa suggested that you add a bit of text telling your customer that they will have to re-select their State if they change their Country.
    Make sense?
    Now, I recognize that you want the fields on a specific order. Have you ever been on a web site where the Country is the first field in the form? There are some benefits to this, as you can not only have the correct States available in that drop-down field, but you can also format the rest of the form according to the addressing requirements of the customer's Country.

    Advice to use a file compare is good advice.  Otherwise, how can anyone write an install...as almost all shopowners have different versions of osc running or have not stuck to the idea of "no core changes" and so on.
    Put another way;
    addon makers would spend all their time writing installation instructions for 1000 different shopowners...

    The only difficulty is setting up a product that;
    (a) only the relevant customer can see
    (b) the product does not show in any of the product lists or menus
    If you can easily solve (b) without too much code changes...(a) is fairly straightforward.
    You could write some sort of admin page which allows you to;
    select a customer fill up that customers cart Then ask the customer to login where their cart is waiting for them.

    This is the support thread for the Customer Service Portal  https://apps.oscommerce.com/xihXD&customer-service-portal
    The primary goal of the Customer Support Portal is to allow osCommerce shop owners to allow their employees to work on order fulfillment and customer support inquiries without having to allow direct admin access. Additionally it serves as a full fledged order placement system that will work with a shops existing payment methods, as well as a couple of new payment modules that could be useful in case alternate means of payment processing are desired, or in person cash sales are needed.
    The Customer Support Portal also allows  a true guest checkout option. No customer is created if this option is used. All customer information is stored only in the actual order information. There is a quick link in the Customer Portal Header menu that allows guest orders to be viewed separately from the rest of the store orders. Please note that in the ht_customer_service module settings there is an email field to fill out, by default it uses the store owners set email address. This email is used for certain functions within the Customer Service Portal, such as a placeholder email in guest account creation. It will always be populated on the guest customers information field, just to skip the additional step of gathering an email address from a guest.
    Whenever done with guest accounts, or even logging into an existing customers account always go back to the dashboard. This resets the session for that particular customer. If you are in a customers account, then you have to take on a session allowing you to access their info, the dashboard kills any sessions that are not related directly to you the customer service agent.
    If you are using the cash payment option, you will need to adjust the sort order of you order total module sp that the order totals and cash back amounts are computed correctly.

    Known issues:
    This plugin has been used in working shops for a number of years and proven to be stable. There are howver 2 issues I am aware of.
    1) If a product in the cart has attributes, the update quantity field wont work properly. If a different quantity is desired, just delete it and add the correct quantity from the product listing itself.
    2) I have not noticed this until testing on PHP 7.0, when using the cash payment option, the update button needs to be clicked twice.

    You could link to a info page that explains more about the referral system. Advertising it is always a good thing that might benefit your store.
    Adding a link into the product page shouldn't be difficult at all. The question is would it be overkill? To advertise on the main page (index.php) or some social media site OK but on every single product page?

    @discxpress,
    There is already a referral feature included which allows a new customer during his first order to refer an existing customer who referenced the store to him.
    Giving referral points to a customer just for sending info to another mail like the old "Tell a Friend" box would open the door to abuse, hence you have no control/confirmation to whom a customer sends the referral.
    There is already a link to the "Point Program FAQ" page included in the product info content module:
    "Buy this item and earn 100 points valued at $10.00. Please check the Point Program FAQ for more information. "
    It shouldn't be difficult to enhance the link by a button if you feel it should be more visible.

    Just did a quick test run on your new package.
    All looks good to me. I didn't know that the total was wrong calculated when paying the whole order via points. It always worked for me.
    I didn't test the PayPal Express stuff though. I don't have the will to setup PayPal now. I trust in your skills.
    I slightly adjusted the button position of the shopping cart module.
    if ($order->info['total'] > tep_calc_shopping_pvalue($max_points)) { $note = '<br><small>' . MODULE_CONTENT_SC_POINTS_REDEEM_NOTE .'</small>'; $points_redeem_output .= ' <div class="col-xs-12">'; $points_redeem_output .= sprintf(MODULE_CONTENT_SC_POINTS_REDEEM_START, $currencies->format(tep_calc_shopping_pvalue($customer_shopping_points)), $currencies->format($order->info['total']). $note) . Are you gonna release this?

    It should work with PayPal express. Can you please try first if PayPal express works without points and rewards to be sure it is correct set up. It is possible to test paypal express on a local test installation in sandbox and live mode, always if you have a internet connection.
