    Header Tags SEO

Thanks Jack Its all working fine now, except when you say header tags code I'm not sure what you mean :S In my product_info.php.html file in my STS template folder the code in between my <head></head> tags reads: Out of this is the <title></title> the header tags? or is it the <!--headcontent--> ? I have tried removing both, but it doesn't clear up the error and I can't figure out what else would be the header tags code. Cheers

    Header Tags SEO

Hey Jack, Hopefully this time I have a question which isn't so stupid (i.e. has already been solved on this page :P) There's 3 things I am having trouble with when running the Header Tags Test: 1. In order to remove the Permissions Error, I have to set the permission for the includes/header_tags.php file to 777 <---- (since 755 still gives me the error, I have commented out the chmod script like it says in the troubleshoot) is setting the permision to 777 a security problem of any sort? 2. I get the STS error saying the head code in the index.php and products_info.php file has Header Tags code installed, which is a mistake. (I should be able to sort this by myself I guess but any help pointing me in the right direction would be grately appreeciated. 3. I have the Database Error where my file count is significantly higher than my database file entries (21 to 6 repectively). The troubleshoot tells me how to deal with this, however, it says I have to log into the page control to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, when I try to do this I get the error... . I am using Header Tags SEO 3.2.1 STS 4.5.8 Thanks for all your hard work and great contribution Chris
  4. Hi Jack, thanks its was the config file :s sorry for the stupid questions. I had looked at that thread before, but most of it is jibberish to me, just needed to konw I was looking the right place. Cheers
  5. Hey guys, I've installed the Ultimate SEO URL contribution version 2-2.2d-7. Prevent Spider Sessions is set to true. Force Cookies is set to false (because it scares some of my customers away) In the file catalog/includes/functions/html_output.php I change $add_session_id = true to remove the osCsid however when I do this the "add to cart" button stops working. Is there another way to remove the osCsid without having to force cookies??
  6. Thanks Jack, sorry for my dumbness, but i assume the 'prevent spider sessions' should be in the admin panel?? because its not in mine :S I just went through the installation process again and I have done everything it says. Any ideas?
  7. Hi I'm using Ultimate SEO URL's 2-2.2d-7 I have managed to install it and its working great. I'm just looking for a bit of info on how it works really. My URL's read like this now: my_site.com//drivers-snake-eyes-viper-tour-black-driver-standard-p-77.html?osCsid=b955168c8a802d5ebdfb7659795d61fb Is it a problem having all the jibberish (to me anyways) at the end of the URL (?osCsid=b955168c8a802d5ebdfb7659795d61fb). I have read around a bit and apparently you can change the URL's using the .htaccess file but I dont know how you would go about doing this? Cheers Chris

    Header Tags SEO

Thanks Jack, I managed to go through the installation correctly now. I get the CHmod error, however, In the Install_Admin file that tells you to find: if (!is_writable($filename)) { if (!chmod($filename, 0666)) { echo "Cannot change the mode of file ($filename)"; exit; } } I don't have this in my admin/includes/functions/header_tags.php, instead I have (and its on line 953 not 201 like in the install_admin file there is nothing like this near line 201): if (!is_writable($filename)) { if (!chmod($filename, 0666)) { echo sprintf(ERROR_CANT_CHMOD, $filename); return false; } } I changed this with: if (!is_writable($filename)) { echo "The file isn't writable"; exit; /* if (!chmod($filename, 0666)) { echo "Cannot change the mode of file ($filename)"; exit; } */ } However, that did not work, the error I get in the admin pannel is: Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: Operation not permitted in /home/elitegol/public_html/admin/includes/functions/header_tags.php on line 955 Cannot change the permission on /home/elitegol/public_html/.//includes/header_tags.php And the warning I get on my actual site is: 1146 - Table 'elitegol_osc1.TABLE_HEADERTAGS_DEFAULT' doesn't exist select * from TABLE_HEADERTAGS_DEFAULT where language_id = '1' [TEP STOP] Have I done something severely wrong??? it feels like I have crapped my site up big style :S

    Header Tags SEO Problem

Lol sorry :P I am very lazy and impatient :( Thanks for the response OMG I am such a lazy **** actually, just been to what you were talking about, can't believe I missed that. Thank you anyway :D
  10. Hey guys this is a great add-on, just what I need for my business. Sorry for starting a new thread but no one got back to me in the Header SEO thread and I can't access my admin panel whilst I have this problem. I installed the sql query fine through phpMyAdmin. I then went through the installation instructions for Install_Catalog. That was fine as well, I checked the the Header Tags SEO appeared in my admin panel :) I then proceeded to the Install_Admin document. I think i made all the changes correctly (although probably not since I am having this problem). When I changed and uploaded the files I got this error message in the admin section: All your help is greatly appreciated Thanks :D

Hey guys this is a great add-on, just what I need for my business. I have a few problems though :( I installed the sql query fine through phpMyAdmin. That was fine as well, I checked the the Header Tags SEO appeared in my admin panel :) I then proceeded to the Install_Admin document. I think i made all the changes correctly (although probably not since I am having this problem). 12. Hmm, ignore what I said about the STS thing, i'm not quite sure why i wrote that :S
  13. Hi Chris, Yes the attribute sort works fine, no problems with that. The only thign that I would say is wierd is after i installed it in the modules tab of the admin section there are 2 STS tabs. I'll have a look at the product_attribute.php but im not that gd at php :P Chris
  14. Hi Chris, Thanks for your reply. I tried running that query, however my database tells me this: #1060 - Duplicate column name 'attribute_sort' I assume that means I have already run that query, and I'm pretty sure I had done when I installed sort order V1.8. Don't suppose you ahve any other ideas?
  15. Hi I've installed product attributes sort order with clone v1.8 when I try and clone one products attributes to another I get this error: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''+)' at line 1 INSERT INTO products_attributes ( products_id, options_id, options_values_id, options_values_price, price_prefixt) VALUES (62, 5, 88, 0.0000, '+) [TEP STOP] I am very lost and i have a lot of attributes to clone, Thanks to you in advance Cheers Chris
