Hello A.Sage Can you give me more information about your setup - MS1, MS2, etc. Also, please let me know what contribs you have installed? Graeme

    Worldpay support III

Hello I am coninuing to receive many e-mails to my personal mail box asking for support, please stop sending mails to my personal mailbox! This thread is the only one that should be used for support - they seem to be popping up everywhere, and as mentioned before, I will not support them. I have yet to see a request for support that has not already been solved in the last 3 thread I have started. Thanks Graeme

    Lost Orders with Worldpay

This is well documented and solved in the Worldpay III forum.

There has been a lot of discussion on this thread about this before, and even a solution created to bypass the Worldpay screen completely, using curl - it worked well, but didnt go down well with Worldpay!! They basically refused to accept any stores that did not conform to their terms and conditions - namely display their payment pages. I am not aware fo the "invisible" payment pages, and as you rightly say, it will need a new module written.

I've just called Worldpay. They tell me they are experiencing a DOS attack from several sources around the world and have been trying to block these all day, but they keep popping up from different sources. There is no estimated fix time, and their engineers are working through the night to block the relevant IP addresses causing the DOS. He also said that 5% of transactions are getting through which explains why the Worldpay images have re-appeared. I suspect a compensation of a big fat ZERO will be given to us all for lost business - I know from my logs I have lost a lot of business from users who have tried to check out but failed.

The upcoming worldpay changes will NOT affect the Worldpay module written by me.

Zucker It took me around 3 hours to fix this problem for someone else - you need to remove all references to STS from wpcallback (and all its included modules, eg application_top, etc) - I did it "live" so didnt keep any files. Basically, dont install STS - it is not compatible with Worldpay, or I suspect many other payment contributions (but I havent tested any others) - I know that doesnt help you. The other contributions you loaded are fine. Graeme

Worldpay will only send an e-mail detailing to order totals, not the individual items. Set up osCommerce to send you an e-mail of the order details, that way you can quickly cross match the order with the Worldpay recept and verify that it has been paid in full, without having to go into the Worldpay admin screen each time.

The Worldpay module is not compatible with the simple template system contribution, so please do not install it. Graeme

Hello, I am receiving 3 or more requests to my private e-mail address every day for help on Worldpay - most of which is answered right here!! I will not answer any more posts to my private e-mail address, so please dont ask for support there. Thats what this forum is for. Also, I will only monitor this thread and give support from here, not other threads. 95% of all problems have been addressed in the three support threads I have created, so please read through them. I have a business to run and free support does not pay my mortgage. Graeme

The new upgrade to Worldpay systems should not affect the WP module here. The Worldpay module works 100% in MS1 and MS2 (I have it working in both) It doesnt use hard coded IP addresses anywhere or a callback password - so it doesnt check if the callback originates from Worldpay. If someone wants to write that, then feel free - I cross match every transaction with Worldpay to ensure the payment was successful or not, so dont feel its needed. Graeme

I am working on it, but have not been this busy in a long time, so it will be at least a couple of weeks. Graeme

There is no reason that version 3c could not be re-written to do the same as version 4. I am just not prepared to do it as it means backtracking over old outdated code, and I already get up to 3 or 4 e-mails a week asking for help with the current version, even although 99% of the answers are on this (or the past 2) Worldpay thread. Sorry for being negative, but the reason I developed WP ver 4 (with lots of help from lots of people here) was primarily because I needed it for my store. I do not do commercial work, and maybe going somewhere like scriptlance would get the 3c problem resolved, then it could be posted as a different contribution for everyone affected. I am in the process of updating the WP module for MS2 which will include most of the features requested over the previous months including the transID into the customer order. This thread should be for version 4 and above, there are other threads (albeit somewhat old) for 3c. Graeme
  14. Hi To fix the bug where the link field is filled in when the poll is on the left hand side do the following: In /includes/boxes/polls.php find the following $url = tep_href_link('pollbooth.php', 'op=results&pollid='.$pollid); $content = "<input type="hidden" name="pollid" value="".$pollid."">n"; $content .= "<input type="hidden" name="forwarder" value="".$url."">n"; $content .= "<tr class="polltitle"><td colspan="2">". $poll_details['polltitle'] . "</td></tr>"; and change it to $url2 = tep_href_link('pollbooth.php', 'op=results&pollid='.$pollid); $content = "<input type="hidden" name="pollid" value="".$pollid."">n"; $content .= "<input type="hidden" name="forwarder" value="".$url2."">n"; $content .= "<tr class="polltitle"><td colspan="2">". $poll_details['polltitle'] . "</td></tr>"; You can now have your poll on the left hand side without affecting the links script.

Ian, Your probably right about asking the previous developer, but I am finding it hard enough supporting the e-mails I get for the current module, and also I think its pointless writing an update for old code! But we need more information on what the changes are - I have received nothing from Worldpay. Graeme
