    PHPList integration to OsCommerce

The customer will be registered to oscommerce as normal, if the user tick the checkbox he will be suscribed to the newsletter, set to confirmed and get a forgein key (customer id). If the user doesn't tick the box and he is already in phplist, he will be only be deleted from the newsletter assigned list.

    Try deleting this: <tr> <td class="main"><b><?php echo CATEGORY_OPTIONS; ?></b></td> </tr> <tr> <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="2" class="infoBox"> <tr class="infoBoxContents"> <td><table border="0" cellspacing="2" cellpadding="2"> <tr> <td class="main"><?php echo ENTRY_NEWSLETTER; ?></td> <td class="main"><?php echo tep_draw_checkbox_field('newsletter', '1') . ' ' . (tep_not_null(ENTRY_NEWSLETTER_TEXT) ? '<span class="inputRequirement">' . ENTRY_NEWSLETTER_TEXT . '</span>': ''); ?></td> </tr> </table></td> </tr> </table></td> </tr> <tr> <td><?php echo tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '100%', '10'); ?></td> </tr> Search for: if (isset($HTTP_POST_VARS['newsletter'])) { $newsletter = tep_db_prepare_input($HTTP_POST_VARS['newsletter']); } else { $newsletter = false; } Change it to: $newsletter = true; That should do what you want, later..

    PHPList integration to OsCommerce

    - If i remember, there isnt any code in the contrib for deleting customers email from phplist when you delete a customer. Should be easy to implement using the forgeinkey. - YOu could change the checkbox field in create_account.php to a hidden field with the same values of the checked when is checked or deleting the checkbox field from the form and set the $newsletter variable to true deleting the surrounding if statment.

Riaan, are you sure that phplist check automatically if the user is already suscribed or not? Cause when i try to add an existing email to phplist (v2.10.4). phplist just resend the confirmation mail to that email, and do not show any message saying that the email is already in the list. But, when removing a email from phplist via the unsuscribe page. phplist checks if the user exist, and if not shows an error message. Later...

    PHPList integration to OsCommerce

Hi, i am very interesed in this contrib. But i want to be able to add non registered customers to the mailing list via a form in the store. For example, guest fill form, script check if guest email is from an actual customer, if not then subscribe to phplist. If email already from a customer, display error an tell them to log on and subscribe from there. This contrib already do this?
  10. I will install the phpbb forum in another DB, the idea of having the OSC and the forum accounts integrated is good, but what about the guys (a lot of people) that only want to post in the forum and do not have a Cart Account? They will need to register as they where a Buyer and will need to enter a shipping address, et. and then receive the Store welcome mail.. To open a forum account, the users only need to fill a few fields, instead of the cart account.

    Display X # of products

That would be nice... I have installed a contribution named "Quick Updates" in the admin side that let you sort the pages in the way you want, selecting the number you want in a drop down field. Maybe you can adapt that to the catalog section...
  12. Hi, Art.. i remember.. when i install the contrib the credit checkbox was missing. I dont know what i did to fix that, but im sure that wasn't that string dot, maybe was another mistake that i made when installing the contrib. and then i fixed... I have installed a lot of contribs in my OSC and the Gif Vouchers seems to still working very good. Maybe one contrib or a thing you change is causing the problem in your case.
  13. Art, your are right. Whren i put the dot in that string there appears two redeem fields in the checkout. I dont' know if that's a bug, cause the contrib. works fine without that dot. Maybe thats was leaved that way by the creator..
  14. Hi Alex, that's not my page. I think that the main menu is from phpnuke integrated into oscommerce. agiftcodotcom What forum you think is the better, phpbb or invision? invision is free?
  15. I think that is better to have the forum appart from OSC in another DB. But if you have little store, maybe this contrib can be interesant. http://www.oldpa.com.tw/modules/shop/produ...p?products_id=7 Change the language to english in that page...
