    Not to be repetitive, but i've still not found a way to display my fields in the order chosen by the sort number. Instead my fields are displaying alphabetically. Can anyone who has had this issue before possibly share some insight as i'm sure it is something simple. Zappo there are a couple places in the product_info.php file where the "order by" command is displayed, but I couldn't change anything by modifying the code...

    Still no luck on a simple way to get my fields to display in the order I choose as opposed to alphabetically? Lets say I have: Name: Email: Phone: Image: And I want them displayed in that order on my product page. It arranges them alphabetically instead so they would be like: Email: Image: Name: Phone: I'm assuming there has to be a simple way to change this, for the life of me I just can't find it.
  3. I hope I am posting this question in the right section. I am trying to add some javascript that does something similar to this: http://kevinandamanda.com/email/mouseover-popup/wisheswebdesign.com-mouseover-popup/example-wisheswebdesign.com.html On my product category page. You know...the page with all the thumbnails where you choose which products you want to view more information on. I sell images basically and would like my customers to be able to have a small preview of the thumbnail before committing to clicking into the entire product description just to see a larger version. I can't quite figure out how to edit the php code in order to include the onmouseover and onmouseout functions in this line: <img src="smallpic.jpg" border="0" onmouseover="showtrail('largepic.jpg', 'Title of the Picture Goes Here',390,530)" onmouseout="hidetrail()"> I am assuming, the editing will take place in catalog > includes > modules > product_listing.php but I could be wrong on that one as well. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

    On a side note, how do I arrange my fields in the order I want besides alphabetically?

    Only reason I would say its not worth a package update is because the functionality isn't "smart" enough to know to only use the function when an image is being uploaded. I feel some people would rather not have the annoying little popup window if they are only passing on a few fields of text. This was my reasoning to not creating an update. Maybe if someone could could add a couple lines to the admin side to be able to turn the option on/off it would be update worthy.

    Wow its always something easy isn't it. It works! Thanks for all your help Zappo! Its not a perfect solution, but now when the form is submitted, a popup window will appear until the shopping_cart.php page loads. This is extremely useful with images, because with the wait time, it allows the user an understanding of what is going on. Thanks again guys!

    <!--//BOF - Zappo - Option Types v2 - Added for File upload: 'enctype="multipart/form-data"' //--> <td width="100%" valign="top"><?php echo tep_draw_form('cart_quantity', tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCT_INFO, tep_get_all_get_params(array('action')) . 'action=add_product'), 'post', 'onSubmit="return ray.ajax()"', 'enctype="multipart/form-data"'); ?><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <?php //EOF - Zappo - Option Types v2 - Added for File upload: 'enctype="multipart/form-data"' I think i'm getting close. I have the simple ajax script working when the button is clicked. I added the onSubmit to the form in the product_info.php page (around line 73 on mine). Only problem is, when I have the onSubmit action in there, I still continue onto the shopping cart, but without the image uploading. Remove it and the image uploads fine. Any reason why this would be stopping the image from uploading? Any way around it?

    <script type="text/javascript"> var ray={ ajax:function(st) { this.show('load'); }, show:function(el) { this.getID(el).style.display=''; }, getID:function(el) { return document.getElementById(el); } } </script> <style type="text/css"> #load{ position:absolute; z-index:1; border:3px double #999; background:#f7f7f7; width:300px; height:300px; margin-top:-150px; margin-left:-150px; top:50%; left:50%; text-align:center; line-height:300px; font-family:"Trebuchet MS", verdana, arial,tahoma; font-size:18pt; } </style> <div id="load" style="display:none;">Loading... Please wait</div> <form action="http://www.yahoo.com" method="post" onsubmit="return ray.ajax()"> <input type="text" value="Test" name="q"> <input type="submit" value="Search"> </form> I was thinking about using something similar to this in order to create the loading window. Is this to simple? Can anyone give me some direction on how to incorporate it into the existing code as far as which pages to edit etc. I tried adding it myself with no luck...

    I'm not great with coding in general :) I'll have to do some research and hopefully i'll come up with a solution. I'll be sure to post my results.

    I am also needing something similar to this. I find it confusing on my site when a user is uploading an image the page just sits there while the image or file is loading. For the novice web surfer the first instinct is to continually hit the submit button over and over again until they notice something happen. Anyone have a solution yet?

    Show Image Filename in Order

    Figured out option 1...I was missing a snippet of code in order to properly define the id. Found the answer in Options Types support thread for future readers. Still trying to decide how to go about option 2. Anyone?
  12. I am using the Option Types v2.1.3 in order to allow customers to add custom text and images to their products. I have posted this in the Option Types support forum, but have not been able to get a response. I am looking for help on 2 things: 1) When a user uploads an image and completes the checkout, I successfully receive their order in my admin panel, however the file name appears nowhere. Its important for me to have this file name so I can associate their order with their image. Can anyone help me solve this problem? 2) When a customer adds an image to the upload field and clicks on "Add to Cart" the page sits in limbo while the image is uploading. For the novice user I am assuming they will continue clicking the button thinking nothing is happening. Can anyone point me in the direction on how to use lightbox or something similar in order to popup a little image simply telling the customer that an image is loading and they will be directed to the shopping cart momentarily. Thank you! Ryan

    Actually it does show the input text fields, but not the image filename...?

    Maybe i'm missing something, can anyone tell me how I (as the admin) can see the info my customers write in the custom fields once they place their order? For instance, when a customer fills out all the fields I have created with their information and then checkout, I get an order in the admin, but that order does not list the information they wrote. Also, I have my customers uploading a file (an image) and I would also like the order to tell me which image goes with the specific product.
