  1. That's what I did. I set the diagnostic option true and then run http://YOUR_DOMAIN/googlesitemap/index.php. The message I posted above is the result. I just changed moo.myname into moo.xxxxx. Is there something else I can do to identify the problem?
  2. I'm sorry Jack, where do I get the diagnostic result?
  3. Yes, I have tried the alternate setting. It shows the same message: Write /home/users/web/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemapproducts.xml Generated Google Product Sitemap Successfully Write /home/users/web/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemapcategories.xml Generated Google Category Sitemap Successfully Google Sitemap Manufacturers not generated - no Manufacturers found! Write /home/users/web/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemapspecials.xml Generated Google Specials Sitemap Successfully Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemap.class.php on line 535 ERROR: Google Pages Sitemap Generation FAILED! Write /home/users/web/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemapindex.xml Generated Google Sitemap Index Successfully Array ( [QUERY] => Array ( [PRODUCTS] => Array ( [sTATUS] => success [NUM_ROWS] => 62 ) [CATEOGRY] => Array ( [sTATUS] => success [NUM_ROWS] => 10 ) [MANUFACTURERS] => Array ( [sTATUS] => success [NUM_ROWS] => 0 ) [sPECIALS] => Array ( [sTATUS] => success [NUM_ROWS] => 3 ) ) [sAVE_FILE_XML] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [file] => /home/users/web/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemapproducts.xml [status] => success [file_exists] => true ) [1] => Array ( [file] => /home/users/web/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemapcategories.xml [status] => success [file_exists] => true ) [2] => Array ( [file] => /home/users/web/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemapspecials.xml [status] => success [file_exists] => true ) [3] => Array ( [file] => /home/users/web/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemapindex.xml [status] => success [file_exists] => true ) ) ) So mostly it shows the successful message, except that one part which says: Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.XXXX/shop/googlesitemap/sitemap.class.php on line 535 ERROR: Google Pages Sitemap Generation FAILED! Thank a lot for helping me, Jack!
  4. Hi Jack, When I run http:.../shop/googlesitemap/index.php, it says: "Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.harperds/shop/googlesitemap/sitemap.class.php on line 535 ERROR: Google Pages Sitemap Generation FAILED!" Would you please help me? Thanks a toooon! Sabrina
  5. I uploaded that two files, but when I run"...shop/googlesitemap/index.php", one part of the message says:"Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.harperds/shop/googlesitemap/sitemap.class.php on line 535 ERROR: Google Pages Sitemap Generation FAILED!" Is this a problem that I should ask for your help or should I go back to ask this questions in the Google XML Sitemap thread? Thank you soooo much for your help, Robert!
  6. Hi Robert, You said that the sitemap is producing standard urls and when it reaches the site USU5 is correctly 301 redirecting them. There are revised files for this contribution in the extras folder of the USU5 download. But, there are a few folders and files in the extras folder of USU5. Would you pleeease teach me how to do it exactly? I love the standard url and would love to keep the way it is :-) Thanks so much, Robert!! Sabrina
  7. Hi Robert, thanks for helping me again :-) There are many folders and files in the extras folder of USU5. Would you pleeease tell me how to do it exactly? I love the standard url and would love to keep the way it is :-) Thanks a lot!!! Sabrina
  8. The links Google said redirect are the product_info.php files. The links are something like: ...shop/product_info.php?products_id=29, but if I click on it, the "?" part actually changed into the name of the product, I think it's the effect of USU5. How can I fix it? Thanks so much Jack!! Sabrina
  9. Hi Jack, I'm back for more questions :-) I just found out in my Google webmaster tool account, under the submitted sitemap area, it says: URLs not followed When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL. And Google didn't index most of my pages. Do you know how can I fix that? Thanks soooooo much! Sabrina
  10. Exactly, given my level of experience, if I can install it, anybody can :-) I also fixed the categories.php file. It's working now. I just need to see how to use the contribution now. Thanks million, Jack, for all your support!! Do you know if I should install any other SEO contributions to improve my ranking? Do I need a robot file? Sorry for asking extra questions :-( Sabrina
  11. Hi Jack, I finished the installation, but when I go to admin->catalog as directed in the How to Operate file, it shows the following message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.harperds/shop/admin/categories.php on line 560. Would you please help? Thanks soooooo much!!! :-) Oh, BTW, I have USU5, what should I do to make them both work? Sabrina
  12. How come I couldn't find the section named STS in the module file and I don't have anything named template in the root of the shop? Do I need to install something before I install this contribution? Since I don't have anything named templates in the root, can I assume mine is STS?
  13. Thanks Jack! I figured that part out and uploaded all the files in the corresponding folders. However, I couldn't find the file sts_templates. It's neither in the root or in the include folder. How can I determine if my shop is STS or BTS?
  14. Hi Jack :-) In the step one for the installation, it says: "The headertags_seo_update.sql file is only for updating a previous version." Since I've never installed it before, I can skip step one and start with step 2, right? Thanks!!!! :D Sabrina
  15. Thanks soooooooooooooooooo much Jack! It works now :-) I changed the code and changed standard into alternate and it works now. It shows a bunch of successful messages :-) Now, I can start working on the meta tag one :-)
  16. One more questions, I was recommended to install HeaderTags_SEO_V_3.1.8, if I install KissMT_1.0_r55_RC, do I still need to install Header tags?
  17. How come I don't have the folder GoogleBase V 2.5 in extras? I only have "character_conversion_pack", "Google XML Sitemap SEO", "module template (devs only)"old contribution modules","replacements" and "usu5_updates". And none of them has the folder GoogleBase V 2.5 in it. Actually, I looked all the folders that come with USU5 and there isn't a folder named GoogleBase V 2.5.
  18. Haha, I'm still bugging you, I guess :-) Actually, I'm sorry about that :-(. So, there are a bunch of folders and files in the extras folder, which ones do I need to upload?
  19. Hi Jack, I'm back in this forum now :-) I'm still trying to figure the sitemap out, but I realized the my data feed stopped working. Now, when I click on Create and Upload a GoogleBase datafeed, it shows the message: Warning: USU5 could not find a valid base filename, please inform the developer. in /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.harperds/shop/includes/application_top.php on line 68 Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.harperds/shop/includes/application_top.php:68) in /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.harperds/shop/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 102 Warning: USU5 could not find a valid base filename, please inform the developer. in /hermes/web04/b1844/moo.harperds/shop/includes/application_top.php on line 68 File completed: data_feed.txt Connected to uploads.google.com, for user harperds Uploaded feeds/data_feed.txt to uploads.google.com as data_feed.txt Script timer: 4.744044 seconds. 21. Wow! I'm happy because I know your stuff works great! I'm sorry that you have to put up with me again. I'll try my best to be better this time :D
  22. I know, my level is really elementary. I can't afford to hire someone too, so I'm banging my head trying to figure everything out. Do you know if any other contributions I need? I'll go bug those people now :-)
  23. I got it!! It worked! Thank you sooooooooo much for all your help and patience! My website is teenyshoesmart.com. You can see it's working now :-) I'm very grateful for all your help!! You are wonderful!! Sabrina
  24. I got you now :-) I tried all of them, but neither worked. My website shows as http://www.mysite.com/shop/. Do you know what else I can try? I'm sorry that I'm such a pain :-(
