    [contribution] Simple Template System (sts)

Hello all. I have a full functional OSCommerce store with STS, and few contributions. Our logs give us a 25% of smartphone connections, and our "normal" store doesn't fit very well with the light navigators, as well as the functionality done when developed thinking in desktop computers. We have a couple of doubts: 1.-) Could be possible to change "on the fly" the template depending on the access type? 2.-) Has somebody some examples to begin working in a template for smartphones? We have found some pre-configured template stores, but they are only for iPhone, and it doesn't work well in Andorid, i.e. Thank you. Crester

Hello again. regarding the quoted message I have solved the issue with the links: it was a problem with .htaccess (rewrite rules) coming from windows and I have redone the file and it is working well right now. However, I am unable to solve the warning "Warning: USU5 cannot recreate REQUEST_URI for your windows server, please inform the developer. in /var/www/-------/includes/modules/ultimate_seo_urls5/classes/Usu_Validator.php on line 115" I am not a PHP developer so I don't understand too much the code. Some help will be appreciated. Thank you Regards, Crester - Juan

ULTIMATE Seo Urls 5 - by FWR Media

Hello. Thank you very much for this wonderful tool. I have been working with USU5 in a production server for around 10 months and I have to say it is really good and profitable. I have a question. The production environment works in Windows Server with Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.2.10 Since I need to migrate my installation to PHP 5.3 I have decided to do it in Linux Debian (Ubuntu 10.10 Maverik no matter 32 or 64bits) yes, I know, whether it is working, don't touch it, but I am bored (LOL) After fighting migrating from eregi() to preg_match() functions, I have done a fast test, copying the production windows server files to the linux server files, and in the begining it doesn't work with few warnings. One I receive the warning: Warning: USU5 cannot recreate REQUEST_URI for your windows server, please inform the developer. in /var/www/-------/includes/modules/ultimate_seo_urls5/classes/Usu_Validator.php on line 115 As well as it, if I activate the option to get working in Rewrite mode instead of standard mode, (rewrite module on and AllowOverride All) it works creating links, but I always receive a 404 when I click the link. To be honest, I haven't enought time to re-read the documentation and I have lots of mods installed in the store; for this reason I want to ask you if you have a tip/tricks to move without too much effort from Windows to Linux Thanks in advance. Hello. a wried problem. I have never observed it til today. when the user is logged in, checkout page is constantly "checking delivery address, checking shipment method, checking shipment address... and so on" as in a loop, and it never breaks. Do somebody experience the problem? Thank you

Hello. Thank you for this great contribution. Currently I have a problem because we change a lot some titles and tags addapting the products names and descriptions to campaings, and resseting the cache. So, google is fast but not fast enought to pay attention as fast as we need. The result is a 404 customized by FWRMedia. I have my own 404 page. Could you please explain me how to use my own 404 instead of yours? better than a 404 could be capturing the terms in the url, and perhaps send to the advanced_search.php, returning google a 301.... Thank you

Hello. I need to do some thing: I have only two allowed payment methods: Paypal or PayOnDelivery. The main difference are that the first has no extra delivery costs, and the second has. it is too ugly to say "select this to PayOnDelivery" as shipment fee. How can I automatic select Delivery method based on Payment Method? Thank you

Enable the numbers as keywords? hello, I have a problem. I was really happy as KissMT is working, and working very fine for me right now I have my most important manufacturer that is called "uno de 50" uno is a Spanish stop word de is a Spanish stop word too and 50 is a number. with lot of pitty I have chosen remove "uno" and "de" from the stop words, as they will broke the good keywords infrastructure I have..... but saying "uno de" without the number is as to say "one of".... it doesn't means anything another factor is translate the "uno" word to number "1" so, still the problem Do you have suggestions about how to add again the numbers, or how to solve this problem? Thank you for this great contribution. Regards,

Thank you Steve. it has solved only half of my problems, because the box and red-icon is UNDER state, and not under "Postal Code" label. So, I need to add this code "....33%"><?php echo 'Codigo Postal: ' . tep_draw_input_field('billing_zipcode', (isset($...." when writting the box, and hide the ENTRY_POST_CODE. Firefox works good, it is only in IE version 8 and IE version 8 compatibility mode.

Problem in billing_address.php Hello, with the default installation, billing address looks to have a bug and the checkout.php is rendered with a mistake like class= "success_icon ui-icon-green ui-icon-circle-check" class="required_icon ui-icon-red ui-icon-gear" style="margin-left: 3px; margin-top: 1px; float: left;" title="Required" /> under state. Reading the forum I have seen the right line in billing_address.php must be (note the new div added in bold) <td class="main" width="33%" id="stateCol_billing"><?php echo $onePageCheckout->getAjaxStateField($defaultCountry);?><div <? if(tep_not_null($billingAddress['zone_id']) || tep_not_null($billingAddress['state'])){ ?><div class= "success_icon ui-icon-green ui-icon-circle-check" <?php }else{?> class="required_icon ui-icon-red ui-icon-gear" <?} ?> style="margin-left: 3px; margin-top: 1px; float: left;" title="Required" /></div></td> instead of the original one (without the div tag) <td class="main" width="33%" id="stateCol_billing"><?php echo $onePageCheckout->getAjaxStateField($defaultCountry);?><div <? if(tep_not_null($billingAddress['zone_id']) || tep_not_null($billingAddress['state'])){ ?> class= "success_icon ui-icon-green ui-icon-circle-check" <? }else{?> class="required_icon ui-icon-red ui-icon-gear" <?} ?> style="margin-left: 3px; margin-top: 1px; float: left;" title="Required" /></div></td> it looks it solve the problem and firefox render well the page.... But there is a problem with IE version 8 and version 8 in compatibility mode that has a bad situation in the page and the box is renderes too short. So the problem is that it is not possible to receive the payment options because you cannot see well the ZIP code. in this case I have two questions. Question one: Do somebody know how to solve it and put the box in the right position? Question two: In my case always will be the same payment options and delivery options. Do somebody know how to change the code to receive these options in the checkout process at the beggining? Thanks a lot.
