    So im guessin that if i have V1.0 installed.....I need to completely uninstall it to upgrade to V1.3?
  2. I wanted to reply i the support thread( http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry863307 ), but apparently your not allowed to :) Heres the contrib: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4253 Heres everything thats added(to checkout_process.php): //Prepare SMS Message $SMS_subject = STORE_NAME . ' ' . $insert_id; $SMS_order = ''; for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($order_totals); $i<$n; $i++) { $SMS_order .= strip_tags($order_totals[$i]['title']) . ' ' . strip_tags($order_totals[$i]['text'] . ' to ' . $order->customer['state']) . "\n"; } tep_mail('', 'phonenumber@mobile.mycingular.com;phonenumber2@mobile.mycingular.com', $SMS_subject, $SMS_order, STORE_OWNER, STORE_NAME); I added the above to checkout_process.php and changed the "phonenumber@mobile.mycingular.com;phonenumber2@mobile.mycingular.com" to my cell address(which is actually '@cingularme.com'). It doesnt send anything upon checkout. Any ideas why it wouldnt work? I can add the same email address im using to 'send extra order emails to' in admin config and it gets the message. Thanks for any help!

    Im interested in those two changes. Can we just remove the 'require('includes/application_top.php')' part without anything else being effected? Some of my cron job errors refer to application_top.php.

    Im back to this point. I was mistaken, the "admin/images" part didnt work. The admin images folder was still in the reference file. Any ideas how how to block just this folder or any subfolder?

    Yes. It works fine when run with the cron job as well, its just that the cron generates those errors. I still get the output from the sitemonitor if anything has changed. I was just curious if anybody elses cron output was like that(if anybody even checks it).

    What actually controls the length of time until the timeout?

    What I posted above does work, just FYI. Question for you though. I can use the above and scan my admin directory minus the images folder.....all works fine. I can then run the sitemonitor.php file and it runs very quickly, but if I add a small text file on the server(just a test file so it can find something different) it times out. Why does it run SO fast if no files have changed but time out if anything has changed?

    I have to block out my admin directory or the script times out. Is there a way to specify not to scan certain folders within the admin directory, such as images, so that we can scan the other php files in admin and not timeout? Would something like this work? : $excludeList = array("cgi-bin","admin/images","downloads","images","pub","tmp","temp");

    peteruittilburg- thanks for the fix, it worked. Any idea WHY I suddenly had that problem? Also, I just noticed that if I click on one of the colored marker buttons on teh main admin notes page....after it reloads the page with the new marker setting the INSERT button is gone.

    Those are questions for the developer, not potential solutions for you. Not sure why you thought I was reffering to you.

    So if you at some point change a file on purpose, will it email you everytime it checks or only the first time finds the mismatch? Im assuming you could just delete the site_reference.php file after you add a new file to 'reset' what everything is compared to?
  14. Nevermind, I updated to the new version you posted. Works great :thumbsup: Question.....if you only put the address in the admin section such as '8015556789@vtext.com' instead of 'Shop Owner <8015556789@vtext.com>' what does that do? Ive always wondered that....I only use the email address for the "send extra order emails to" section as well instead of the whole 'Name 1 <email@address1>' deal.
  15. Does it need a ')' after "strip_tags($order_totals[$i]['text']" ? So it would look like: $SMS_order .= strip_tags($order_totals[$i]['title']) . ' ' . strip_tags($order_totals[$i]['text']); Is that correct or did you have it right? Thanks for your time. :thumbsup:
  16. Ok, problem was related to having another email invoice contribution installed. I am now recieving the SMS messages. New problem though: The messages are still over 160 characters. After every part it sends......sub total, shipping, sales tax(which i didnt think it was suppose to do anyhow) and grand total it lists the destination state. So its listing the destination state a couple times.

    I have some errors coming up all of the sudden. Heres the errors: Heres the things that have changed since I know it was working with no errors: *just moved to a new webhost, so any number of server settings COULD be different *just applied the 'MySQL 5.0 Compatibility' part of the OSC 051113 update(although server is still using MySQL 4.X) Any ideas why I would now be getting the above errors? Thanks :thumbsup:

    Seperate Pricing Per Customer v3.5

    Thanks Jan, as always Im assuming you had to run the SQL queries as well? If I do this upgrade BEFORE my host actually upgrades to MySQL 5....will it give me any problems running on an older version of MySQL?

    Seperate Pricing Per Customer v3.5

    I need to apply the upgrade(oscommerce-2.2ms2-051113) to osc that involves MySQL compatibility. This involves 3 files: catalog/advanced_search_result.php catalog/index.php catalog/admin/categories.php The sections of code that need changed all look to involve code prevously altered for SPPC. Has anybody applied the MySQL 5.0 update to the SPPC code in these files? Thanks for any help :thumbsup:
  20. http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?s=&...ndpost&p=536802 The above thread deals with having a SMS message sent to notify you of an order. It can more simply be done my adding a direct email address for your cellphone(most providers offer this) to the 'Send Extra Order Emails To' config setting in admin. I havnt done this yet, but im sure it wont be a pretty message sent to the cell since most SMS msg's are limited in size. Here's what would be nice(and im sure VERY simple for somebody in the know)..... Have an option in admin to choose if the 'Send Extra Order Emails To' email address is for SMS cellphone use, and if so modify the email sent....strip it down to be more simple such as the customer name, total amount of order(the basic important stuff). If nothing else, anybody have a simple way of stripping down the email sent to 'Send Extra Order Emails To' address to make it more SMS friendly? Thanks for any help :thumbsup:
  21. I did something similiar to you. I can email directly to my cell phone as a service of my cell carrier. I added that email address to my 'Send Extra Order Emails To' section in admin. Now when an order is placed it sends a copy of the invoice directly to my cell phone. The problem is that the cell's text messages are limited in size and I only ge the beginning part of the invoice. Yes, this alone tells me I have an order and is helpful. What would be more helpful is if the emails sent to the addresses listed under 'Send Extra Order Emails To' in admin could be configured to send only a couple things such as customer name, order items and order total. That way you would recieve the most important info directly to your cell. This would also make things alittle easier for you as well. I know if the right person sees this they could tackle it in a couple minutes :)
  22. Could anybody just help me strip down the email sent to 'Send Extra Order Emails To' address to make it send just the Customer name, items ordered(no attributes needed) and the order total?
  23. I looked through the database alittle and found the CC#'s. Looks like they are already masked.
  24. with all the different payment modules, etc, how does a person even know if the CC# is stored in the dB? Is there a common spot for it? I know mine show up on my invoices, with middle #'s masked, but im assuming the numbers are not stored in the dB. Any simple ways of checking?
