  1. Hello All... My client has recently had a nightmare running Protx Direct - causing over £2500 worth of failed transactions. We've now switched back to Protx form and the problem has eased but still happens. Is anybody else experiencing problems with transations timing out? Is this really down to users not understanding the 3d Secure process or is there a problem with the whole osCommerce/Protx Form integration? Anybody got any ideas at all? THanks Andy
  2. Hi Tom The server is running php5.2 Andy
  3. Hello My client is still getting large numbers of failed transactions (£2600 last month) due to the order not being completed. More investigation leads us to believe that the problem occurs on this page; protx_process.php?action=process And that just seems to be the new meastro cards without issue numbers! Any ideas anybody? My client is a bit frantic now and is considering going back to Protx Form... Andy
  4. Hi Tom It's been tested with a Maestro card (and others) and it works fine - the trouble is that when we used our Maestro card it did not send us for the 3D Secure verification - is the verification only needed once per card - or for every order? The minimum level of 3D Secure checking is on in the VSP Admin. Thanks Andy
  5. Hi Tom This is error that Protx have on their servers - we are getting lots of these. Transaction CANCELLED by the Protx systems after 15 minutes of inactivity. This is normally because the customer closed their browser Protx say this "It appears there is a problem with your 3D Secure integration" Andy
  6. Hello all... My client is having a few problems where transactions are timing out - according to Protx - and payment is not being taken. This appears only to be a problem with maestro cards. Can anybody shed any light? We also we seem to have a problem whereby there are maetsro cards without issue numbers but the client is being asked for an issue no - is this the case? Thanks Andy
  7. Hello all... after reading through some of this thread I was wondering if v4.3 is the best version to go for - what do ytou all think? THanks Andy

  11. Hi. I have installed the Protx Direct 3 module on my clients shop but even when I install and enable it in the Admin pages it does not show up on the Payment options page. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...
  12. I currently have the mhash, mcrypt version of the HSBC CPI payment method installed on one of my clietns sites. The client wishes to use the HSBC API - is there anyone out there that could point me in the right direction or assist in the work. The site is on a dedicated server and it's fairly busy. Thanks ANdy
  13. Problem solved - in sts_display-putput.php I have a require_once for the includes/headertags.pgp file rather than require!!! Needle in a haystack - but got it.. thanks for the help. Andy
  14. Hi Jack - I've gone through the entire install but it doesn't seem to be picking up the headertags section in STS or calling the header tags function - all the includes are there - just getting no output! Andy
  15. Thanks Vger I suspect the client want's it go through without the pending!!! But may not have a choice... Andy.
  16. Can anyone answer this please. Does HSBC accept a BillingAddress2 parameter? The Suburb (renamed Address Line 2) on my shop is not being passed through to HSBC, so the option is to tag it on to the BillingAddress1 field or pass it in another field. What do you reckon? Cheers, Andy
  17. Hi - I was wondering if someone could help. I've installed HTC and it is now not displaying any title, desc or keywords - I event turned on the reply email and that isn't being displayed. Can anyone give me a quick pointer to where I may have gone wrong? Thanks Andy

  20. I don't suppose anyone has the technical support helpline number for HSBC CPI handy do they? I can't seem to find it anywhere at the moment. Thanks Andy
  21. Hello Has anyone managed to change this contrib so that the the CPath is passed through the rewritten URL to the Products_info.php page? I'd rather not have to turn on passing the CPath as a parameter as it kind of defeats the object. My store has thousands of products to categories links and the products_Info page needs the category ID and the product id in order to offer certain attributes. Thanks in advance Andy
  22. Hello I use Protx often and find them easy to work with and they provide a good service imho. Andy.
  23. Has anybody managed to get this Contribution working? Mine isn't storing orders!!! Help! ANdy.
  24. Hello I've been told by my host that my site is heavy on server processing because of the product_thumb.php process. I believed it was creating a smaller image only the first time an image was viewed, then using the small image all other times. I have found the following lines in the product_thumb.php file >>> // If you are required to set the full path for file_exists(), set this: // $filename = '/your/path/to/catalog/'.$filename; <<< Should I be setting the path to the images directory? Thanks Andy.
  25. Hello I think you need to do the scrollable area witha div and CSS. It's similar to the way we've done it on sites such as www.pmd-associates.co.uk and also I have scollng best sellers list on www.crompton-direct.co.uk. Andy.
