  1. Hi, Just had some time to look properly thought the sitemaps being generated and they are submitting the wrong url's to google e.g: http://www.alloywheelscenter.co.uk/FILENAM...?products_id=28 instead of http://www.alloywheelscenter.co.uk/product...;products_id=28 so it then comes up with a 404 not found error? what could be causing this to happen?
  2. Mines doing exactly the same, I have no idea where it gets this date from?
  3. You have to submit the URL of where the site map is e.g: http://www.yourdomain.com/sitemapindex.xml
  4. Excellent worked first time! You are the man Jack. For the cron job do I just give that Cron command to my host?
  5. Ahhh, that could be the issue! so all the contents of the folder goes into the public_html and it should all work. Ive set the permissions to 644 same as the images is this correct?
  6. Ive uploaded the catalog file into the public_html which I have been told is the root of my store as per our previous conversation.
  7. Hi Jack, I am getting a Error 404 page not found after running the install and going to http://YOUR_DOMAIN/googlesitemap/index.php? I have followed the instructions through and been over it again but cant see why this happens? Thanks
  8. Ok excellent thanks for your help, I haven't got to grips with all the terminology yet still picking it up thanks again for your help. Hopefully it all goes according to plan and I can get submitting some Sitemaps.
  9. So if I remove all the files I have uploaded and then upload them again which folder do they need to be uploaded to? the instructions say upload all files in the catalog folder into the same place. where is that place?
  10. Go to the phpmyadmin in your cpanel and select contents of the sql folder contained in the download and paste in to the box and press run.
  11. By going in to the admin panel I mean www.mysite.co.uk/admin, then it comes up with the document feed page I think I may have uploaded all the catalog files into the wrong place where do they need to be put to run correctly?
  12. Hi people I have followed instructions included with this add-on along with a rough guide of adding contributions from Sam: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...=0#entry1432157 which has helped me a lot so far but I have run into this after doing steps 1-3 in the read me file I go to my admin panel to configure the add-on and it brings up the 'Google XML sitemap feed documentation' not my admin panel I have a massive feeling I did something not right but don't know how to find it?
  13. Downloaded all fine, but when I went to go to my admin panel to configure the add on and it comes up with Google Xml sitemao feed documentation not my admin panel?
  14. My bad posted too soon  , am now downloading files from Public html to my pc, I guess this is so that the individual files can be edited and then uploaded back to the site? I am going to post at various steps through adding this contribution, please if any one sees anything wrong that I am doing just point it out to me I will be hugely grateful.
  15. Ok I have got filezilla downloaded and running and have also connected to a ftp access i created but I cant see any files to edit in filezilla?
