  1. @@kymation Hi Jim, Excellent mod for the BS system - just what I was waiting for :) One little question - is the new box missing some padding at the bottom to seperate it from any boxes below it? Many Thanks for your work
  2. Last Day Basking in the Glory of MOTM :(

      MrPhil

Bummer being MOTM in the shortest month, ain't it? (been there)

  3. This seems really odd to my small mind - this is a modern revamped Header Tags Modification - yet changes still need to be made inside the language file rather than simply having the ability for a shop owner to add them via his admin?
  4. I would suggest that you have done something wrong or incomplete - as the app works fine on 2.3.4, did you do the legacy file changes with respect to the new hooks.php and the changes to both application_top.php files and overwritten the existing order.php and orders.php?
  5. Actually looking at the install again I would suggest that you either did not copy in all the new files, or copied them to the wrong locations. Just did an install of the app on a 2.3.4bs site in about 10 mins and it works fine
  6. Did you install the module from admin/modules/payment/add module ?
  7. Hi, I have a problem much the same as this as per : http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/399695-paypal-express-pesky-problem/ ie if the customer has not set their paypal address correctly then this plays havoc with the shipping and tax modules, could do with an input from @@harald on this one
  8. @@chipshi11 This will add all the UK counties to your database: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8948 (remember to make a backup first just in case) Then add the counties to the shipping zones such as: Shp: Liverpool (would just contain Liverpool) Shp: Highlands (Scottish highland counties + Scottish islands) Shp: England (all other counties not in the above two) I think the counties list is almost complete - I think I had to add a couple of odd-balls since I set up my county list
  9. Unless the postcode is outside Liverpool - on the Shetland Islands or in Northern Ireland..........
  10. He could define zone one as Local Delivery with counties set as Liverpool and perhaps merseyside zone two would be National Delivery rest of uk counties minus those in zone one and three Zone three could be Highlands and Islands - Containing counties in the scottish highlands and islands
  11. @@chipshi11 Hi chris First you need to install the UK counties as per: Then add the counties to the shipping zones as per:
  12. as per this - this is the set up for one of my zones:
  13. its main purpose is to allow several shipping methods per zone, with an unlimited number of zones eg Mainland UK: Royal Mail, or 24 Hour Courier or 48 Hour Courier etc
  14. I think you may be restricted to using counties as your shipping zones rather than postcodes. The mod I mentioned earlier is here: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8136 (use the kymation version) but would also need you to add all the UK counties Then you could have: Zone 1: Liverpool Zone 2: Other UK Counties Zone 3: Highlands & Islands Zone 4: Northern Ireland And set the appropriate shipping prices for each
  15. OK another update, As line 185 of the file was looking for an array, as there was only one order it was not finding an array - I have added another order and the error in the error log is now gone :) It looks a very useful system - thank you for your work
  16. OK an update - It would appear that as it was a clean install (with no orders) it was defaulting to 1970. I have added an order to the system and it now displays as it should - ie a sale on todays date of 2015 However, the error I mentioned above persists in my error log....
  17. Hi, Just installed in an almost clean 2.3.4BS store - and firstly I have to say how awesome it looks! Well done But as per the posts above, the reports are restricted to 1970 with the following appearing in my error log:
  18. @@chipshi11 There are no postcode addons for UK that I am aware of. I would personally handle this with MGZMT shipping add on. Set one zone to liverpool with a weight range of 1 - 10000Kg and set the price as £30 Set the second zone to all the other counties - same weight range but with price of £80 Mind you dont het caught with surcharges for Highlands and NI
  19. I havent tried it as yet as I spent yesterday evening trying to get the pesky flags to appear as they should next to the new boxes am I the only one with a problem with this? I will probably use the product short description in another way as per my non BS store. - ie I use the short description to display a description on the product page above the buy now box, with the main product description appearing below the buy now box. Makes for better layout especially on long descriptions
  20. sorry - but also in BS Gold the Product Mini Description does not seem to function
  21. Thanks Gary, Did a restore and then painstaikingly did the install again - and this time it worked - funny old thing eh? Guess I made some silly mistake on the first install. A couple of things I did notice were that the sql command would not run (maybe i started the install at some earlier date and cant remember) also on the add product page some of the images (flags) are not displayed and the category screen layout has changed as per the screenshots below:
  22. Silly question - are the modules already included in BS Gold? as if so I maybe tried to install twice?
  23. hmm also most of the ht_modules have vanished from my admin :(
  24. @@burt Hi Gary, Thought I would give this a go on my try-out setup of 2.3.4BS, and as the site is not very modified just did an overwrite of the files. Now I get a white page on the catalog side with the following error: I have triple checked that the file structure was maintained - any ideas? Thanks

    Paypal app

    @@LisaBisa I would suggest rather than hardcoding the changes in the paypal app files to fix the cause of the problem, as this may cause more problems down the line your line in includes/configure.php should look something like: define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/username/public_html/catalog/');
