  1. I had hoped someone could explain this ;-( will go ahead and install and figure it out by doing!
  2. I am preparing to install this, but there is a confusing sentence in the instructions. In step 4, you have a choice (and I quote) to: "Clone all attributes from One Product Attribute to ONE Option Value" -- OR --- " Clone all attributes from ONE Product Attribute to MULTIPLE Option Values" Clearly, the choice is to make a one-to-one or one-to-many decision, but the words above don't make any sense. Should it read: "Clone all attributes from One Product Option to ONE Option (for another product)" -- OR -- " Clone all attributes from One Product Option to MLTIPLE OPTIONS (for another product)" I guess I really don't understand the purpose of this step, and its impact on me. Can someone help? Cheryl
  3. You can see this is how it works by reviewing the Paypal support pages here: https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_ren...CGettingStarted This is shown in the form of a block diagram. The blocks that are "glowing orange" are PAYPAL pages. Paypal wanted to create a solution that keeps your customers on your site, so I think they've done an effective job of that.
  4. Yes, I understand, because I had exactly the same question you did. Hopefully, this new business flow with Paypal will not confuse customers. Paypal insists this method has a better conversion rate, but I guess we'll see! I certainly found it easier to integrate than the other solutions. And, I think it is a cleaner interface -- not repeating all the same stuff at Paypal before you confirm your order. I have also tested it to ensure that if you go to Paypal, return to your site, and DONT HIT CONFIRM ORDER, that the order is NOT processed at Paypal. That is very important! Cheryl
  5. Any answers to this should be posted here - not emailed. This is a public support forum. Let's help everyone.
  6. I've installed Paypal express, and it works as you say. This is a feature, not a bug. When you integrate Paypal Express, it takes the customer to the Paypal site SOLELY to approve the upcoming order, and to indicate the method of Paypal payment (credit card, from their bank, from their balance, etc). ONLY WHEN you return to your store and hit the CONFIRM ORDER button do you see all the products and shipping details. That is my understanding of how this works. You will not see these details at Paypal. You see them before you go to Paypal, and after you return from Paypal. Hopefully others will correct me if I am wrong, but that is how it works on my site. I integrated this function about 3 weeks ago from the latest release. Cheryl
  7. I should add I had a lot of other contributions present - UPS CHOICE, Discount by Payment Type, and mods to COD and other payment methods, Paypal Express, for those concerned about that.
  8. I just installed the full version of Discount Coupons by rajonbh dated March 21, 2009 (not using the autoinstaller) It worked perfectly. I had 2 parsing errors in the admin code (caused by me), but the parsing error gives you the line to fix, so that was an easy thing to find and fix. The directions were perfect. It works exactly as promised, with my Paypal Express and other forms of payment (pay by phone, pay by fax). Because of the number of changes required, you need to print out the installation instructions and take exquisite care in the installation. However, there is nothing tricky. Just make backups. I want to highly recommend this contribution. Cheryl
