ULTIMATE Seo Urls 5 - by FWR Media

Thanks a ton for this contribution. I just upgraded from an earlier version of SEO URLS. My question is, I have, in application_top, my main root url link like this <a href="<?=tep_href_link('index.php')?>"> however, so everything points to www.mydomain.com/ instead of www.mydomain.com/index.php, I had changed the above code to <a href="<?=tep_href_link('/')?>"> Under the old SEO URLS that took me to www.mydoamin.com/. However now it wants to take me to www.mydomain.com// (double slashes). I've temporarily changed it back to 'index.php'... It gives an error when I define nothing. and I do have a rewrite in my .htaccess that sends all index.php to '/'. I'd just rather all my links point to www.mydomain.com/ any ideas? Am I overlooking something very simple? Also, I have a custom 404 page that works for an incorrect URL, but the FWR 404 shows up when a bad SEO url comes up. I'd like all my 404's to be my custom one, but because the SEO Urls 5 404 is in a different folder, it messes up my code.... can I just point it to my 404 or disable it all together so mine is the only one that shows?

One more question... I have my own custom 404 page, where is the code I need to change so that I use my custom page as opposed to the notfound_404.php that is provided in the contrib? Thanks

Thanks a ton for this contribution. I just upgraded from an earlier version of SEO URLS. I also have Google SItemap XML installed and noticed that when I ran it all my sitemap urls were ...cPath?i-3 ... or however it does. Not actual product names or category names, just the cPath value... I just installed the included XML sitemap that comes with this contrib, and it's working fine for me, so no worries there. PayPal WPP Direct Payments & Express Checkout Support

I've got a small issue... I'm trying to change the wording on my checkout_payment.php where is says PayPal Direct Payment. This isn't in the language file and I cannot find it! Any suggestions as to where this might be? (When changing it in the language file, it changes in admin only)
  6. It's not a huge problem, just an oddity. The first time I visit my page (fresh cache and cookies I guess) the page loads with the SEO long version of the file name even though I have it so it should just load the short file name.. ie. http://www.site.com/workshops-c-55.html?osCsid=93171ad8.... instead of http://www.site.com/workshops-c55.html However, it takes me to the same place. When I refresh, or follow any link on the page that is within my site, all links act the way they should. Is something loading too slow that causes this, is there a way to fix it? Also, will this cause confusion with search engines finding my pages? Thanks for any help!

    [Contribution] More Category Boxes

I really enjoy this contrib... thanks. Two notes. I had added additional contribs and noticed that I need to to make some slight changes to the code of this one coming in. Nothing big... (I'm no coder.. I just barely know my way around PHP) but there would have been some extra semicolons and brackets if I had copied the code exactly..... lets see.. in Step 4 - admin/includes/boxes/catalog.php Replace the following lines: '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCTS_EXPECTED, '', 'NONSSL') . '" class="menuBoxContentLink">' . BOX_CATALOG_PRODUCTS_EXPECTED . '</a>'); } With this: '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCTS_EXPECTED, '', 'NONSSL') . '" class="menuBoxContentLink">' . BOX_CATALOG_PRODUCTS_EXPECTED . '</a><br>' . '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_MORE_CATEGORIES, '', 'NONSSL') . '" class="menuBoxContentLink">' . BOX_CATALOG_MORE_CATEGORIES . '</a>'); } the code was put in but instead of the last few characters my current file showed an ending of '</a><br>' so instead of inserting '</a>'); } I inserted the above again... the semicolon and closing bracket were further down on the page... Maybe this will help someone without any PHP knowledge. I have one questions though. All my extra category boxes are not in the same style as my default categories box. I like the style of the default box better... as it sticks to the theme of my site with smaller text and green text subcatagories. Any ideas on how I can get them uniform??
