    Modules Control

    What does this have to do with modules controle? Did you try what I told you to do here:

    Modules Control

    I do not understand anymore, there is nothing to update in the navbar. The only modified core file is osc_template.php class. Please revert all what you did or try on a new clean installation with my provided files.

    Modules Control

    v1.0.2.0 now I updated to 1.0.2.5 and get the same: a class="navbar-brand nb-brand" href="http://localhost/Phoenix_Git/Responsive-osCommerce/index.php">phoenix_git_slim_checkout</a></div> <div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="collapseCoreNav"> <ul class="navbar-nav mr-auto"> <li class="nav-item nb-home"> But thats not relevant, relevant is your php code outputted between html: core-nav> == $0 Investigate where it comes from. Did you use my modified osc_template.php or did you apply the modifications? I just replaced the module controle files again with the files from the uploaded package. No change.

    Modules Control

    This is not in the core and it can't be added by modules controle. Modules controle only interferes in the osc_template.php class. It doesn't add any code to the output.In my develop store it looks like this: <a class="navbar-brand nb-brand" href="http://localhost/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx">phoenix_git_slim_checkout</a></div> <div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="collapseCoreNav"> <ul class="navbar-nav mr-auto"> <li class="nav-item nb-home">

    [CONTRIBUTION] Sloppy Words Cleaner

    Hello John, It should not be difficult to add this conversion. You could use "iconv" for this purpose. Have a look here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6206132/how-to-convert-special-chars-to-standard-chars But thinking about, if you use scripts in admin to create the shipping labels, it might be better to use it there only in the shippinglabels/shipping information and leave the Customer data in the database with accents.

    Modules Control

    I had a look on my test store and for me it's just opposite: the navbar modules always show even they are flagged to be switched off. If I remember well this has been reported and I forgot to remove them. Will do in the next update. There must be another reason why they do not show in your store. May be you have the navbar content module removed or hidden. This is not supported. It only works based on filename. But you can always hide individual boxes based on depth coding it in each box module.
  10. This works by default. Just upload the "no_image_available_150_150.gif" to your image folder and replace it with a custom no image pic if you wish.
  11. The setting IS safe. Please see the code, it can only trigger the drop table command if the constant is defined AND the constant is set to "True": if ( defined('MODULE_CONTENT_PI_RELATED_PRODUCTS_REMOVE_DATA') && MODULE_CONTENT_PI_RELATED_PRODUCTS_REMOVE_DATA == 'True' ) { tep_db_query("drop table if exists `products_related_products`"); }
  12. Still no idea how you could get the table erased/emptied
  13. I tried to replicate this, but even the constant names have been shortened, I didn't succeed to remove or empty the featured products table with the Uninstall Removes Database entries set to false. I tried uninstalling first the old module then installing the new module and also replacing the module without uninstall/ install, no way. I never lost data. Anyway the phoenix version is intended for a new installation not for an update of the previous 5 or 6 series. It's supposed for Phoenix you always start over from scratch. That's why no update instructions from 6.x versions are included. It's suposed for a new installation from scratch, you have to import the related products table from your old database, sure you did this?
  14. Hello, Just updated my test store to 1.0.2.5 and all works and shows like expected. - make sure you have the product info module installed and switched on - make sure you have at least one related product defined for the product you are viewing For debugging: Comment out the condition which checks if related products exist like follows: // if ($num_related_products > 0) { ob_start(); include('includes/modules/content/' . $this->group . '/templates/tpl_' . basename(__FILE__)); $template = ob_get_clean(); $oscTemplate->addContent($template, $this->group); // } Then you should see at least the module title "Related Products you might like". If you see it but no products, then you have no related product defined.

    KissIT Image Thumnailer

    Hola Gustavo, Sorry, I do not understand. Can you PM a link to your store or post a sample code. I never got anything similar reported nor observed it myself. Or does it only create the original sized thumb in the thumbs directory. Then this is triggered somewhere in your store with this size passed through the tep_image function. Or you may have watermark enabled, then a thumb in the original size is created to embed the watermark in the big pop up image in product info.

    AJAX Attribute Manager support

    Weight support needs additional installation of the correspondant addon. I never used this. see config class: /** * Use More Product Weight plugin? (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2706) (added by RusNN) */ $this->add('AM_USE_MPW', false); Check first if everything works without any additional plugin switched on. Also the versions you refer are for the Bootstrapped community versions. I didn't try them on 2.3.4 standard and do not give support for them. I began to touch AJAX attrributes manager for BS COmmunity versions. Even admin side has not changed too much, there can be issues. If you do not get it to work, try the older versions for your 2.3.4 standard store: https://apps.oscommerce.com/dGA4a&ajax-attribute-manager-for-2-3

    Please switch on error reporting or check your error log to see which error is thrown in admin. You can do this changing the setting in your admin/includes/application_top.php to: error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors','1'); THis is not related to KISS IT thumbnailer. Its a content module to show the header title on modularized pages.
  18. Revert your installation to the version which was working in your Edge store. Hope you have a backup. If you need to update to 4.4.2 follow the update instructions. If you didn’t had problems with your previous version, don’t update.
  19. Yep, sorry that's a typo. 4.4.2. Anyway, meant 4.x.x series, 5.x.x is for Phoenix only

    CONSTANT check

    In some older contributions I find the following check if a constant is true: if (CONSTANT) { ... } Is this still useable/allowed in PHP 7.3 or should it better be replaced with: if ( defined('CONSTANT') && CONSTANT === true ) { ...... }

    AJAX Attribute Manager support

    Did you read this: Need help? See this thread and provide the information requested. Your store version?, your PHP version ? Looks like you have problems loading jQuery or with the jQuery version.

    AJAX Attribute Manager support

    Hello @Garret Krampe, Need help? See this thread and provide the information requested. Please explain what happens and which is your problem so we do not need to analyse the error messages you posted. However, having a fast look, I guess that you are trying to use AJAX Attribute Manager on a new created product. This doesn't work. Beeing AJAX, it needs the product to be saved first. Once the product has been saved, open it again and AJAX Attributes Manager will show and work. Or better, do what 99.9999999% of all shopowners are doing: copy an existing product instead to create a new one, then it will show up and work immediately.
