  1. Thanks Jack. I've set it all up since I posted. I've created the MPN and UPC fields in the product page (though they're not displayed publicly). The feed pulls the information from the fields correctly and that works fine. Is there anything else I should be aware of that I may have missed? My sincerest thanks go to you and everybody else who has contributed to this great... contribution.
  2. Hi, Sorry if I sound like a complete idiot, but it may be the case. I've installed this, but I'm having trouble working out the configuration for MPN. Where exactly does it get the codes from? Presumably they need to be put in manually in the admin side somewhere, but I'm not sure how to go about this. I would have expected an SQL update would be required with this script? Any help from anyone would be much appreciated!
  3. Well done - good on you for not giving up! Welcome to the forums, by the way! I've got a question. I'm trying to set up the header title tags to work differently on the index.php page to how they display when a category is opened and it's listing the products within. For example: If I wanted the header title to display "Daz's Dodgy Motors - We're Not Happy Until You're Not Happy", I can set that up correctly by over-riding the default for the index.php - however, when I click on a category - for example Blue Cars, the title would just say "Blue Cars", when I want it to say "Blue Cars - Daz's Dodgy Motors". Does that make sense to anyone?
  4. I've got the watermark working, but is there an option to turn it off, or at least make it smaller, in the product info page. I only really need it shown in the lightbox...?
  5. I haven't noticed a conflict really. You just need to be logical when you're making code changes. Can you explain the problem a little more?
  6. Is there a way to set the minimum accepted length for the filepath for the field "Thumb or Single Large Image"? The thumbnail images aren't loading on the catalog, although the others that are uploaded do fine. That field only tries to load 102 characters of the URL, and not the rest. Any ideas? Thanks! ***EDIT*** Sorted, just had to change the field length in PhpMyAdmin. Should have thought of that earlier...
  7. I had to change something, because before that it wouldn't load the editor up. I dropped a little bit of code in and, boom, it works. Awesome contrib - wish it'd been installed BEFORE we put products on though - nevermind!
  8. I've installed it and... well, it appears to work... Is it lying to me? Will it break? Am I missing something or is it really as easy as changing one line of code?! It can't be, surely!?
  9. Guess who's back, Jack? Just wondering if the issues with FCKeditor not functioning within this had been resolved or if there's a work around? I need it to be able to embed YouTube videos, and have a text editor that functions - as I'm not the only one who changes the site content. Any ideas?
  10. Got it sorted. It was an odd one though - for once it doesn't appear to have been entirely my fault. I just ran the database uninstall file, and then re-installed it. It's fine now. Thanks for mentioning that link. I'm using custom pages and not the standard information box, so I'll hard code a link in there somewhere. Thanks again for another awesome contribution. You remain OSC Legend. :-)
  11. I've read through some of these posts and googled the problem too, but I can't find anyone explaining the same problem I'm having. I'm using the tree menu, and it all works fine in Firefox and Opera, but in Chrome, IE and Safari, although everything initially displays fine, once the menu is extended, it's giving a box as if an image has failed to load. The weird thing being that there isn't meant to be an image there. I expect a bit of code tinkering would fix this, but I could really do with being pointed in the right direction. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?
  12. Hi Jack (again), I followed your advice and installed this on to my site, but I really can't see where the sitemap itself is generated! Nothing appears on the front of the site, nor does it actually seem to do anything in the backend. Having had so many people use this, it's obviously something I'm doing wrong - but do you have any idea what it could be? Everything installed fine, so I don't know what the issue is... Other than me clearly being a little more retarded than I initially thought.
  13. Answered my own question and got it fixed. For the benefit of any future users, please make sure you're using the RIGHT .htaccess file (included within the package of Ultimate URLS 5). Jack_mcs remains an "OSC Legend" of the highest degree.
  14. Okay, got out of the loop, but now it's not finding any of the product/category pages. I'm assuming this is .htaccess-related... I'm running it on a local MAMP server, so I guess the settings would be different?
  15. Nah, you can keep the title. You've clearly earnt it. I just changed the setting and it's put the site in to a redirect loop...?
