    Current AUctions V2.0

You need to change your settings in the admin to only show active auctions. Hope that helps.

    Current AUctions V2.0

Yes it does have the buy it now icon. It is stored locally instead of getting it from ebay. Hope that helps. B)

No, your time zone shouldn't make a difference. So is it working OK now or only in debug mode? Not sure about this, very weird.

    Current AUctions V2.0

Hmm your config looks ok. What time zone are you in? Pacific? Try this: Goto ebay and do and an advanced search -> items by seller put in sac-cycle search -> text-only format What is the link in the address bar? When I do it, it looks like this: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewListedItems&include=0&since=-1&rdir=0&rows=50&userid=sac-cycle It is weird it works for me but not you. Hope that helps.

skyducker, I entered your username "sac-cycle" on my demo and it seems to work just fine. Do you have the latest version. eBay just made a change to their page the other day so I had to update the code. It can be found at: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1443 Basically we had to change where to stop grabbing the html from the eBay page due to a change of theirs. You can eithor download the updated contrib and replace the .../includes/modules/current_auctions_module.php or make this change to the file: find this line: $GrabEnd = '<hr width=\"500\" align=\"CENTER\">'; and change it to this: $GrabEnd = 'About eBay'; If that doen't work, what is your config in the admin? Hope that helps. :-"

Hmm, Sodacoms and skyducker what are your usernames? Do you have any special characters in your usernames? If you have a " ' " or a " * " you may need to put a \ in front of it like this: Smitty\'s Stuff Mysql does not seem to like these symbols. Hope that helps. B)
  8. B) Current AUctions V2.0 B) Welcome to the support forum. Please post your questions here and maybe someone can answer them. I am happy to announce I have decided to put togethor everyones great ideas and release a re-designed version. Many thanks to vini & vita, Jesse, Louis-Philippe Hemond, David Hanwell, 420, Acheron, Christian R., and of course Chrispian H. Burks for their input and mods to the original script. Changes: - Major Reconstruction - Incorperated as much php code into the script as possible weeding out the html - Split the current_auctions page into two elements making the html parsing part a module - Use of css for colors and fonts - All text is found in languages for easy translation - All configurations can be done via the admin - Message when there are no auctions to list - Added But It Now image The contribution can be found here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1443

    Ebay auction manager for OSCOMMERCE

Hello everyone, I think there may be a bit of confusion here. Let me explain. The "Current Auctions" contrib has no legallity issues it just simply parses html to show your auctions. It is just simple html parsing, nothing criminal about it. The "Automated Auction Process" contrib could be considered in the gray area because it does involve loging into your ebay account and then parsing data. It is the logging in part that is considered "gray". The main reason I developed these contributions is to prove it could be done without paying a million dollars to the big API crook (ebay). Html parsing used with cURL is a very powerful tool and can be used in many ways!! Hope that helps. :D :D

    Automated Auction Process

Hello everyone, Gokou, If your server is set up on a Windows platform and not Linux you may need to make an adjustment for cURL to send and accept cookies. Here is what you need to do: Find these lines in get_auction_info.php. there will be 6 of them. curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEJAR, "/tmp/ebay_cookie"); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEFILE, "/tmp/ebay_cookie"); This part of the cURL code tells where to store the cookies, and where they can be found upon request. Change it to: curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEJAR, "c:\tmp\ebay_cookie"); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEFILE, "c:\tmp\ebay_cookie"); Or something like that. Last make sure that the c:\tmp\ directory exists. If you are running this on a Linux platform you may want to make sure there is a tmp directory on the root of the drive and the permissins are something loose like 755. Basically it is not that cURL is rejecting cookies it is that ebay can't find the cookies, so there is a problem writing or reading them. Hope that helps. :D :D

Gokou, Unfortunitaly there is no way to bypass curl, it is the core of this contrib. If you are getting the message then php can't find the "curl for php" lib. This means you may have curl installed but you do not have the curl for php mod installed. you can check in your admin under tools -> server Info. Scroll down and you should find something like this: curl CURL support enabled CURL Information libcurl 7.9.8 (OpenSSL 0.9.7a) (ipv6 enabled) Hope that helps! B)

    Automated Auction Process

Hello everyone, I am still alive but due to a life altering sutuation I will no longer be able to support this contrib. I would like to offer it up to anyone who would like to develop it further. I could email what I have done on v1.1 if anyone is interested in finishing it. Let me know. I am truly sorry for this but due to forces beond my control I can not continue. I will always be open for questions though.

    Automated Auction Process

Tomcat, Unfortunatly, in 1.1 you won't be able to upload it directly to ebay. This would require the use of there API defeating the Open-Source concept ($$$). On the other hand you will be able to export it directly to your desktop as a cvs file designed for Turbo Lister. You would then open Turbo lister, import it and upload it from there. Hope that helps. :)
