Product / Sort add-on not working as expected

2.3.3.4 and yes the customers side reflects the admin side. Question, on your admin side do the products appear in alphabetican order, date added or your sort order?

Product / Sort add-on not working as expected

Sorry, apart from checking carefully that you have performed all the code changes and uploaded the amended files then I can think of nothing else. It works perfectly on my shop.

Product / Sort add-on not working as expected

Is the + sign still showing beside the Products Name heading on the customers side? If so did you run BOTH SQL Queries in the instructions. If you did, check the second one is still in the configuration table.

    Changing Admin and Customer Flow

Each order when completed appears in your admin with a default order status according to the payment method used, you set that default in admin.. You can create unlimited order statuses and call them what you will, so you could have for example "Approved by Jim" and "Approved by Fred" or "Rejected by "Alan". It is up to you. The order has a dropdown box in admin were you can change it to your next desired status. The time and date of the change is recorded in an on screen table in the order for historiy reference. Example workflow: 1, Awaiting approval 2, approved by XXX, 3, Awaiting dispatch, Shipped. Any comments you put in the comments fields appear in the table as well. This is all standard in OSC, no add on required. Here is an example how I use it.
  11. I did this in my 2.3.3.4 store In catalog/products_new.php around line 65 find <td valign="top" class="main"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCT_INFO, 'products_id=' . $products_new['products_id']) . '"><strong><u>' . $products_new['products_name'] . '</u></strong></a><br />' . TEXT_DATE_ADDED . ' ' . tep_date_long($products_new['products_date_added']) . '<br />' . TEXT_MANUFACTURER . ' ' . $products_new['manufacturers_name'] . '<br /><br />' . TEXT_PRICE . ' ' . $products_price; ?></td> replace with <td valign="top" class="main"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCT_INFO, 'products_id=' . $products_new['products_id']) . '"><strong><u>' . $products_new['products_name'] . '</u></strong></a><br />' /*. TEXT_DATE_ADDED . ' ' . tep_date_long($products_new['products_date_added']) . '<br />' */. TEXT_MANUFACTURER . [Addon} Modular Front Page

When I first installed this addon it behaved as you describe I.e you could not access and edit what you had already created. When I updated the addon to the newest version it now works correctly. Have you got the version from 15th May 2013?

    View Counter

@@Jack_mcs I fully appreciate you have no control or influence on ipinfodb.com but I am having problems creating an account. I have downloaded the .bin file as per your instructions but I cannot get past the registration page to get the API, their server just times out. Have you had anybody else reporting similar problems?

    View Counter

Now about to install and try View Counter but before I start I have noticed a possible problem. Although it is not mentioned in the install instructions the sample htaccess file has Options +FollowSymLinks. When I installed your excellent Ultimate SEO URLs addon I got a 500 error and you suggested removing Options +FollowSymLinks, which I did and it works. Will View Counter work without this?
  16. Hi. I have Security Trap installed and it is recording the HTTP errors correctly. At this time I have not enabled the "Ban excessive HTTP errors" feature. The problem is that it is letting through bots that are in the banned bots list, Yandex and MJ12bot in particular. It is stopping banned IPs OK including mine at one point. 2.3.3.4 PHP 5.4.21 Martin

Worldpay Integration - Payment Module Not There?

Yes please if you have done something to it, but I am using your 2.2 version in a 2.3.3.4 store on PHP 5.4.21 and it is working fine. Martin
  18. That's done it Jack, thank you. Commented out Options +FollowSymLinks. Do I need Options +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch ? Martin
  19. 2.3.3.4 Shop on PHP 5.4.21 Works perfectly on my test store using Uniserver Store is now live on host and works correctly with SEO turned off until I include the code into htaccess when it throws a 500 error on both store and admin. Originally I had a whole list of additions in htaccess inherited from my RC2.2a store and I thought one of them is the culprit but no. I removed them all and just tried the seo code with RewriteBase set thus RewriteBase / but still the same store is www.mhvideos.co.uk # $Id$ # # This is used with Apache WebServers # # For this to work, you must include the parameter 'Options' to # the AllowOverride configuration # # Example: # # <Directory "/usr/local/apache/htdocs"> # AllowOverride Options # </Directory> # # 'All' with also work. [Contribution] Database Manager

Used this to great effect on my RC2a store. Now I have installed it in my test 2.3 store and the backups it creates do not contain the Create Table command after the Drop table if exists command. I have this on a local host. Extract of backup below. The RC2a local host version still works correctly. Any ideas please. Worldpay Integration - Payment Module Not There?

I think that contribution is for 2.2 only The 2.3 original module does not have the cancelled orders feature that this one has If peterbuzzin reads this it would be lovely if he could produce a 2.3 version

    MD5 Update

Worldpay are requiring the use of the signatureFields data in the admin setup section of their website from the 31st May 2011 They have added a signatureFields box which has to be populated by then I am not sure whether we need to make any changes, their website talks about static and dynamic MD5 signatures. Which does oscommerce use? Here is a link to their technical article http://www.worldpay....ws⊂=md5&c=UK I would be grateful if somebody could have a read and indicate what we have to do Here is the only place in my entire website where signatureFields appears. It is in line 292 of catalog\includes\modules\payment\worldpay_junior.php tep_draw_hidden_field('signatureFields', 'amount:currency:cartId') . Could "amount:currency:cartId" be the data they are requesting in their admin section Thanks in advance Martin
