  1. I think I had the old version 1.0. Now I just fetched 1.0.2 from December 2016, this has the files inside, so ignore then my previous problem, looks solved.
  2. Hi, I added this add-on: Banner Rotator Content Module BS3 Edge running. (2.3.4. bootstrap) I see no slide show since the jquery files for the slideshow (rotating banner) are not in the add-on. Looking in the map: catalg/ext/ I have jquery with only one css file not a .js script or so. I also don't have a directory called catalog/ext/slideshow Looking in cm_header_carousel.php (lines 211) and cm_footer_carousel.php it assumes these files are there for the slideshow: $add_scripts = ' <script src="ext/jquery/slideshow/jquery.easing.1.3.js"></script>' . PHP_EOL; $add_scripts .= ' <script src="ext/jquery/slideshow/jquery.imagesloaded.js"></script>' . PHP_EOL; $add_scripts .= ' <script src="ext/jquery/slideshow/slideshow.js"></script>' . PHP_EOL; $add_scripts .= ' <script type="text/javascript"> They are not in the add-on. Do I miss a add-on to get these files in?
  3. Great info, I didn't know about this compatibility add-on. I was with a new add-on always looking in the servers error_log and depending what errors it brought I adapted the add-on's php files, mostly WS_ or FILENAME constants. Not knowing about this cool add-on, thanks for the tip Dan!
  4. fixed. Reason: includes/languages/dutch/modules the map navbar_modules was missing. Solution: copy the directory navbar_modules from includes/languages/english/modules to includes/languages/dutch/modules. Then edit file: nb_languages.php: change define('MODULE_NAVBAR_LANGUAGES_SELECTED_LANGUAGE', '<abbr title="Selected Language">L:</abbr> English <span class="caret"></span>'); to define('MODULE_NAVBAR_LANGUAGES_SELECTED_LANGUAGE', '<abbr title="Selected Language">L:</abbr> Nederlands <span class="caret"></span>'); Personally I don't like the L: in front so I removed that from the english and the dutch nb_languages.php file
  5. Added language to the Navbar via admin: Modules->Navbar Modules->Languages. In the Navbar I seen then: L: English and an arrow down glyphicon. I choose Dutch, I get the Dutch pages, but the Navbar still shows L:English. Would be nice if it remembers with an active tag or so the current language
  6. Solved, File includes/modules/shipping/zones.php in the class constructor for class zones it said: $this->num_zones = 1; I changed it to a higher value and then it is back again. case closed & documented.
  7. Hi, I had setup in my previous osC 2.3.4 zone rates, several ones. I see them all in the configuration database. But now in my current osC 2.3.4 Edge BS3 I only see Zone 1. I attached a screenshot! The module is I guess zones.php, but I compared it with the old server and is still the same. Any ideas how to get the other zones back? also below some sql exported code so you see at least my setup the first 2 zones (375, 'Enable Zones Method', 'MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_STATUS', 'True', 'Do you want to offer zone rate shipping?', 6, 0, NULL, '2015-05-31 16:57:44', NULL, 'tep_cfg_select_option(array(\'True\', \'False\'), '), (376, 'Tax Class', 'MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_TAX_CLASS', '0', 'Use the following tax class on the shipping fee.', 6, 0, NULL, '2015-05-31 16:57:44', 'tep_get_tax_class_title', 'tep_cfg_pull_down_tax_classes('), (377, 'Sort Order', 'MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_SORT_ORDER', '0', 'Sort order of display.', 6, 0, NULL, '2015-05-31 16:57:44', NULL, NULL), (378, 'Zone 1 Countries', 'MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_COUNTRIES_1', 'NL,BE,DE,LU', 'Comma separated list of two character ISO country codes that are part of Zone 1.', 6, 0, NULL, '2015-05-31 16:57:44', NULL, NULL), (379, 'Zone 1 Shipping Table', 'MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_COST_1', '999:8.00', 'Shipping rates to Zone 1 destinations based on a group of maximum order weights. 8. solved. I edited in the database table the field configuration_key MODULE_HEADER_TAGS_INSTALLED ht_product_colorbox was not added there, so I added it manually at the end of the content (preceding with a ;) Strange thing is that after I edited that directly, I had finally the "install modules" button filled again with 11 possible header tag modules I can install. Up to the next thing I might encounter, this one is fixed (I hope)
  9. must be something with the configuration table in the database, it differs between a working site and this site where it is vanished. I have to see if I can empty the configuration table from this site with 2700 products and copy in the table from the other working domain (the working domain has the default oSC products) so might be tricky. When I open both configuration tables (site one and site 2) and search for ht_product_colorbox then only the default osC 2.3.4.BS3 Edge version has a lot of it included. site 1 has 365 rows in this table and site 2 has 510 rows in this table :-(
  10. hi, In the default osC (version 2.3.4 Edge) I click on an image and see a nice "colorbox" then. But now somehow I lost the colorbox in the admin part: Modules -> Header Tags ->(install module). At the "install module" button there are no modules listed. And the installed header tags only have this: what went wrong??
  11. Issue is solved, but I don't know how it could happen. Some tables missing or empty in the sql? I installed a new "gburton bs3 edge osC". From other domain I converted the database according to the conversion script from the gburton git pages. Imported that database, nice finally looks much better all, but...... Login for existing and new customers were missing. Looking in Admin->Modules-Content I did see the modules "Create Account Link" and "Login Form" but it had nothing to edit, no fields to edit came up, also the "sort order" value was not set anymore to a value normally you see a value in the list of installed modules, her it was empty. To solve it I simply remove the module by pressing the remove button and directly afterwards I installed it again via the install button. So I think somewhere in the SQL some values are lost for these modules, I just don't know why it was removed. Here is what I see for example how it looks (just a part from it) and in a working same Edge 2.3.4. it looks like this: Before I imported the converted 2.3.4 database into the edge database, I dropped all tables, except for configuration. I had to import since it is a database with around 2700 articles. Thank.
Mvg Hans
  13. I did export the old 2.3.4. database and imported it in the new BS3 shop, then I did the SQL script to convert it. after that the layout was still repsonisive but the bootstrap columns were ways too wide and somehow missing images. It looked horrible compared with the default product catalog you get delivered with a clean install. So the way I managed it now: on the (still) live site I run the (gburton) SQL script. Then I export and import this one in the new subdomain. (2700 products). Now the BS3 layout is looking more normal, still need to fix certain things (working on that). I also installed a payment module, that also works nicely. I also had to adapt these two table fields in the database table: configuration: SESSION_WRITE_DIRECTORY and DIR_FS_CACHE(these two will have of course another path compared with the live shop) So from now I get the more easy issues like " My login page is empty it just shows "Welcome, Please Sign In" Still working on that one since in the admin->modules->content I see a "login form" already included, but when I edit it I see just 3 input fields without surrounding information to see where the 3 fields are for. If I edit these 3 fields with random text or numbers it does not get stored after a save. The server errorlog shows no errors. I have two languages installed: dutch and english. In both languages I get the same error. Maybe this addon I used is doing something with the login page.... And yes I have seen these two configure.php files are different :-)
  14. I am converting one site from osC 2.3.4 to osC 2.3.4 (BS3 and Edge from github-gburton) Only thing left is to transfer/convert the whole big catalog to the Edge version, I have to see which database tables I should not copy over. Like the config/admin on the new domain. only the tables with categories, orders etc. But that is out of this topic:-) The SSL certificate i have installed it on www.domain.com and i have the .htaccess rewrite lines to make https from http calls. But as I said that is a bit closer to the solution but stlil the links to the products are http links, even in Edge. Phil thank you so much, I was not aware (anymore) that configure.php (2 locations) had http/https/secure settings. Now they look like this: (as you see 2nd line has http instead of https, I will change it and enable SSL I will set it to true) define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.int.net'); define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'http://www.int.net'); define('ENABLE_SSL', false); define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', ''); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', ''); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/'); Steve also thanks! Luckily the web development tools in the browser (chrome and seamonkey) show the warnings(or mixed errors) so it is "easy" to find issues. Now with all this knowledge I can continue the setup of the new Edge. I will first make this all waterproof with the default osC database and make a backup. Then the bigger step to get the 3000 articles into the Edge database (p.s. yes I know there is a conversion database script on the gburton git page) Thanks again all!
  15. Not solved: question is: how to change the http calls in the source code, which php pages do have them inside. The problem is that even rewriting http to https does not work since I will see mixed content! So My OSC version that I took from github is including things like bootstrap with a http request, that should be https. Also the images: Example: Mixed Content: The page at 'https://domainname/index.php'was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'http://domainname/ext/bootstrap/js/bootstrap.min.js'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS. 2nd examples: the images then from OSC: Mixed Content: The page at 'https://domainname/index.php'was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://domainname/images/card_acceptance/visa.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
