  1. This thread is for support of my MultiGeoZone MultiTable Shipping Module. Download From: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2571 Announcements regarding this module: http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?showtopic=119084
  2. For WI Benjamin's "Cross Sell Module." This mod is an admin section for the Cross-Sell (X-Sell) module. It was taken from a Cross Sale module and changed to work with Cross-Sell (X-Sell). The original code of this mod is in no way mine. I have merely updated the admin for "Cross Sale" to work with "Cross-Sell (X-Sell)". I like the catalog side of X-Sell better and wanted an admin for it, so I took the one for "cross sale" and updated it to work with X-Sell. I know this mod is not the greatest or easiest to use. When time allows, I may find time to update it to be more user friendly. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1005

  4. Hey all.... I've been sitting on this one for awhile... I change my OSC back in November to allow guests to write reviews. After seeing it requested alot on the forums, I've decided to pack it up as a contrib. This mod will allow guests to write reviews. If a user is not logged in, they will get 2 input boxes (for first and last name) when writing a review. If they are logged in, the name is filled in for them. I reccomend using the "review approval" system with this mod. It's been so long since I've changed my OSC install to do this, that I cannot remember if there were any language files or any other files I changed for this. I think what is included is the only file I changed, but if you find an error, please let me know ASAP. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,985 Enjoy!
  5. What does it do? I absolutely loved the idea of the MoPics contribution, but adding 16 images in the admin section for each product grew rather tedious. I noticed that all of my images followed a pattern, so I wrote this code. Now only ONE image is needed to be defined in the admin. The rest of the images will appear on the product_info.php page if they exsist. Please not you do not have to follow my naming scheme. You can come up with your own variations, as the script is flexible in that way. Mine is just an example to follow. More on the naming scheme later. For now let's install it. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1114

  8. I've just uploaded a contribution that changes the "buy now" links to forms. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,864 Q: Why would I want to do this? A: This mod is intended as a compliment to Ian's SID killer (http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php?t=25595). Ian's mod kills the SID unless a user is logged in or something is in the cart. Since the "buy now" buttons are links, a spider or bot (like our friend googlebot) can add items into your cart, creating a SID. This is bad. Doing this mod will change those links to forms, making it pretty impossible for a spider or bot to fill up your cart. Enjoy :)
  9. Thanks I will re-download that last posted version and take a closer look. If something is wrong with one of my contributions, I like to work to a solution. I don't consider this belaboring ;)

Fix for "No Response" DHL Module issue

This works well for a temporary fix, which is why I put that "curl -d -k if you have SSL issues" comment in the code. However, you really should look or encourage your system admin to look into updating the curl certificate bundles on the server. It is not that the DHL cert is invalid. It is very much valid. it is just that some servers do not "trust" it because those servers have old bundles they look at to determine if something should be trusted or not. Updating your curl cert bundles is not that difficult to do. ;) You can also get SSL issues if Curl or OpenSSL was incorrectly installed or configured, in which case, again I'd suggest encouraging your system admin to fix the problem, while using something like this as a temporary solution.

Flat Rate Plus additional amount per item

It may be a little overkill, but my MZMT shipping module will do this for you. You'd setup your table using the count method to be "0:100%" (which translates to $1 per item [100% of the number of items]) Then, depending on what you want ($3 for 1 item, $4 for 2 items, $5 for 3 items, etc... --or-- $4 for 1 item, $5 for 2 items, $6 for 3 items, etc...), you would set the handling fee for the table to be either $2 or $3 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2571

  16. This version updated the help file and makes a few changes to the box making it easier for customers to view their wishlist's. if you are upgrading from v1.1 or v1.11 extended, you can just overwrite the files /includes/modules/wishlist/wishlist.php /includes/languages/english/wishlist_help.php /includes/languages/english/wishlist.php

    MRMT Shipping v1.101

I just downloaded it and it works fine. Make you unstuff it with a program that can handle both Gzip compression and Tar archives (.tar.gz is a tar archive that has been gzipped).

products weigh less than a pound?

Chris is right. The weights are in whole weight units, being either like a pound or a kilogram. You have to convert from ounces to pounds (divide by 16): .03 oz = .03/16 = .001875 You need to enter .001875 into the weight, not .03

    X-sell on Shopping Cart Page

it does it for every product in the cart, but could easily be ammended to do for the just the last item added when it is added by using the session variable "new_products_id_in_cart" that OSC sets when you add a product to the cart

    authorize.net + aim + no ssl

you cannot do that with AIM, or at least I don't think you can. You want the Simple Integration Method. I believe that authorize.net module that comes with osCommerce uses the SIM method.
  22. The module doesn't calculate weight, osCommerce does. The module just uses the weight osCommerce passes to it. If you have your max package weight at 70 pounds, you need to download the latest version, which fixes a bug in previous versions where multiple packages were not being handled correctly.

    Zones Percentage Rates

There are already some modules that will do what you want. This one will. You can set up as many zones as you want, as many tables as you want, and you can make the shipping a percentage if you want http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2571
