    Links Manager II

    Worked like a charm! A million thanks - Now, after having done that it displays Categories, then two sub-categories under the main category. Does anyone know how to change that to display say, 3 or 4 sub-categories (or more)?

    Links Manager II

    Thanks for your reply. The above question was regarding how to display all categories, even empty categories. I read through all 36 pages for about 3 hours and googled it also, but with bleary eyes. If anyone can point me in the right direction to find where this is posted I'd be very very appreciative. I just can't find it. Thank you again, Jack, and community members.

    Links Manager II

    Hello, Great contribution - thank you! I had little or no trouble installing Links Manager II Version 1.23, but I do have two questions. I have read all 36 pages of this forum and didn't see the issues addressed. 1. This is a new osC 2.2rc2a install, and I've added a couple dozen categories to Links. I currently only have one link, which displays properly. How can I change the links page so that it displays the empty categories, not just the one category that contains the link? 2. As I mentioned, I used V. 1.23 of Links Manager II, and I also have Ultimate SEO URLs V. 2.8 installed, which has worked flawlessly. My htaccess file does have this line: RewriteRule ^(.*)-links-(.*).html$ links.php?lPath=$2&%{QUERY_STRING} And in admin->configuration->SEO URLs "enable link directory cache" is set to true. So I think the two contributions should be compatible, but my link page is http://www.mysite.com/links.php and the page with the category that contains my one link is http://www.mysite.com/-links-0_1.html. That isn't right, is it? In admin->configuration->my store I have "use Search-Engine Safe URLs" set to false. Any help would be appreciated.

    [Contribution] Define Content 1.x Support

    I'm replying to my own post - maybe it will help someone else who may run across the same problem. The problem was not with the Define Content contribution - it was with the particular version of tinyMCE suggested in the contribution. tinyMCE 3.2.1 from sourceforge has a missing img[style] in the extended_elements which is in catalog/admin/external/tiny_mce/tinyMCEinit.js. Just change the line containing "extended_elements" to this: extended_valid_elements : "img[class|src|border=0|alt|title|hspace|vspace|width|height|align|style|onmouseover|onmouseout|name],hr[class|width|size|noshade],font[face|size|color|style],span[class|align|style],div[class|align|style],a[name|href|target|title|onclick]" });

    [Contribution] Define Content 1.x Support

    Hello - I'm adding the Define Content contribution to OSC 2.2 RC2. I didn't have a WYSIWYG editor, so chose the tinyMCE. Downloaded version 3.2.1 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/tinymce. I originally had trouble with images and links, so made the following changes: In these files: catalog/admin/external/tiny_mce/tinyMCEinit.js catalog/admin/external/tiny_mce/tinyMCEinit_strict.js I changed this: document_base_url : osc_baseurl + "index.php", to this: document_base_url : osc_baseurl, And in this file: catalog/admin/tinymce_images.js.php I changed this: $output .= '["'.$name.'", "'.$file.'"]'.(($sz==$c)?'':','."\n" ); to this: $output .= '["'.$name.'", "'.DIR_WS_CATALOG.$file.'"]'.(($sz==$c)?'':','."\n" ); That still didn't fix it, so in these files: external/tiny_mce/tinyMCEinit.js external/tiny_mce/tinyMCEinit_strict.js I changed: relative_urls : true, to: relative_urls : false, Now the images show up just fine, but I still have a problem. When doing insert/edit image, Appearance - the alignment, border, vertical space, & horizontal space do not work. It allows me to set them - but it is apparently not getting inserted into the html. I can change the image size under "Appearance" and that particular feature does work. Any ideas? This is an almost clean install of osc, and as I mentioned, I didn't have a WYSIWYG so that is clean, too. I appreciate any help offered.
  6. quoting 'airbrushmaster' from Jan 29 2009, post 1363275 Set the return URL to http://<your website>/catalog/ipn.php Hello - Great instructions for Paypal Website Payment Standards, except the above "return URL" has me perplexed. My store is in root, so I assume that would be http://mywebsite/ipn.php. That file does not exist in the root directory, nor can I find it elsewhere. Is it something that I have to create, and if so, can you help with the php code (I'm a newbie and can usually follow instructions on contributions with cutting and pasting, and have EXTREMELY limited html experience)? Also, can anyone answer this? The paypal account being used for this oscommerce site also accepts payments for other sites, but on no other sites do we use the "return to site" or a return to the site's specific URL. This shouldn't mess up allowing payments to be sent from 'buy it now' and other such payment options from other sites, should it? Thanks for any help, especially about the ipn.php. Also, I've seen directions to put paypal notification URL to return to both http://<your web site>/catalog/checkout_process.php AND /catalog/checkout_success.php. Which is correct?

    FCKeditor install problems

    I see from a suggestion by Spooks on another post that I shouldn't have created /catalog directory but that the files should have been in main directory. That fixed the main error - although now I am having a different problem. This problem seems much easier (hopefully). I'm installing the define main page contribution for FCKeditor, and after following all steps and supposed to be done, when I'm in /admin and click on Catalog/Define Main Page it doesn't work properly and I can't figure it out. It shows the filename of define_mainpage.php and lower on the page a Save & Cancel button, but nothing else. Error code says this: Line 172, Character 2 Error: Object expected Code: 0 URL http://mydomain.com/admin/fckeditor/editor/fckeditor.html? InstanceName=file_contents&Toolbar=Default Please, do you have any suggestions?

    FCK WYSIWYG HTML editor

    Yesterday I posted this as a new topic, without any replies for assistance. I see now that perhaps I should have posted here. Once again, any help would be much appreciated from any knowledgeable FCKeditor gurus. I have a fresh install of latest osCommerce and am attempting to install FCKeditor 1.2 - I'm having problems and have spent hours reading the forums for help without success. Perhaps this is an easy fix someone can spot right away. Any help would be appreciated. I am following instructions_to_install_in_version_osC_Update_060817 + RC1+RC2+RC2a When I attempt to go to www.sitename.com/admin I get the following errors: Warning: main(fckeditor/fckeditor.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 12 Warning: main(fckeditor/fckeditor.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 12 Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'fckeditor/fckeditor.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 12 ---------------------------------- Instructions said to upload the files+directories in your root: catalog/admin/fckeditor/ and catalog/userfiles/ My configuration didn't have a /catalog directory, so I added it and followed directions. --------------------------------- In /admin/categories.php I did the following: replaced this: <td class="main"><?php echo tep_draw_textarea_field('products_description[' . $languages[$i]['id'] . ']', 'soft', '70', '15', (isset($products_description[$languages[$i]['id']]) ? $products_description[$languages[$i]['id']] : tep_get_products_description($pInfo->products_id, $languages[$i]['id']))); ?></td> with this: <td class="main"><?php echo tep_draw_fckeditor('products_description[' . $languages[$i]['id'] . ']','600','300',(isset($products_description[$languages[$i]['id']]) ? stripslashes($products_description[$languages[$i]['id']]) : tep_get_products_description($pInfo->products_id, $languages[$i]['id']))); ?></td> -------------------------------- In /admin/includes/functions/html_output.php I added this line (which just happens to be the Line 12 referred to in error message): require("fckeditor/fckeditor.php"); and I add this as instructed: //// // Output a form textarea field w/ fckeditor function tep_draw_fckeditor($name, $width, $height, $text) { $oFCKeditor = new FCKeditor($name); $oFCKeditor -> Width = $width; $oFCKeditor -> Height = $height; $oFCKeditor -> BasePath = 'fckeditor/'; $oFCKeditor -> Value = $text; $field = $oFCKeditor->Create($name); return $field; } ---------------------------------------- Then in the root I created /userfiles and set to 777. --------------------------------------- This part may be a problem. The instructions set to input the path to the /userfiles in admin/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/connectors/php/config.php BUT THAT DOESN'T EXIST. Because the instructions said to upload into catalog/admin/fckeditor I FOUND THIS FILE IN /catalog/admin/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/connectors/php/config.php (I have both /admin and /catalog/admin directories - don't know if thats a problem) I changed $Config['Enabled'] to = true ; Made this change: $Config['UserFilesPath'] = '/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/userfiles/' (to obtain the userfilesabsolutepath opened the include/configure.php and copied the path from DIR_FS_CATALOG and added/userfiles/ after it) -------------------------------- Any ideas? I have seen this topic discussed before but all the fixes suggested I have double-checked to make sure they were done right.
