  1. We have added the following enhancements to the Checkout By Amazon add-on:

    * Checkout By Amazon Instant Order Payment Notification (IOPN) Integration.

    * Inventory updates immediately after the order is placed.

    * Separate page specifically for managing Checkout by Amazon orders.

    * Ability to search Orders by Amazon Order Id in the "Amazon orders" on osCommerce admin UI.

    * New Status codes for Checkout By Amazon orders to ensure that these do not clash with the custom status codes you might have already defined.

    * Support for merchants to send Cart level Custom information that is stored with the order and passed on at different levels including callback and IOPN.

    IMPORTANT NOTE

    --------------------

Please note that order management for amazon orders on osCommerce admin UI works only if you have a HTTPS endpoint for IOPN.

    THINGS TO REMEMBER

    -------------------------

    1. Please set the IOPN endpoint in Seller central 2 hours prior to upgrading the 2.2 Plugin.

    2. DO NOT use the upgrade script (upgrade_to_2.2.php) if you modified any of the original checkout by amazon add-on files and/or tables.

The Latest add-on for RC2 can be found here:

    http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6591

And the latest add-on for MS2 and RC1 can be found here (this has been branched out of the above):

    http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6647

The latest version is Checkout By Amazon v2.2 for osCommerce. Please let us know any feedback you might have so that we can serve the community better.

  3. Hi,

Recently I installed Amazon payment plugin v2.1 for my default installation of osCommerce v2.2.

The Latest add-on for RC2 can be found here: (this is what I used)

    http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6591

And the latest add-on for MS2 and RC1 can be found here (this has been branched out of the above):

    http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6647

The latest version is Checkout By Amazon v2.1 for osCommerce.

I simply followed the Option 1 - FRESH OSCOMMERCE INSTALLATION as mentioned in INSTALLATION_GUIDE.txt.

    My setup isn't perfect because:

    1. Installation Notes mentions:

"Installing this plugin will create two new tables in your OSCommerce

    database:

    amazon_orders_lock

    amazon_orders_products"

While these two tables were not created

    2. I don't know how to sync Amazon orders in osCommerce. I clicked on the Button "Sync Amazon Order button", but I didn't get any new Amazon checkout order.

On a positive note, I was able to successfully use Amazon checkout to place a order (as a buyer) and cancel the order in http://SellerCentral.amazon.com (as as seller)

    P.S. you'll need to have a :

    - Checkout by Amazon seller account. All details are mentioned in the documentation in http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6591

    - a seperate Amazon account for the buyer

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

    1. the tables which you have mentioned will be installed by Checkout by Amazon Payment module. please make sure that you have necessary permission to create tables from oscommerce code.

    2. Order sync happens automatically. There will be delay in orders getting into oscommerce administration. Amazon generates the order only when it is ready to ship. you will have to wait for some time to get the orders. if you have to update your inventory instantly, please use IOPN.

  4. Are these the proper URLs for Instant Order Processing Notification

SellerCentral > our account > settings > checkout pipeline settings >

    Instant Order Processing Notification Settings:

    Merchant URL: 'http://myWebSite/catalog/checkout_by_amazon_order_request_handler.php'
    Integrator URL: 'http://myWebSite/catalog/checkout_by_amazon_callback_processor.php'

    Hi,

If you have enabled Signed Carts, then you need to use HTTPS instead of HTTP.

also the URL's you have mentioned are not to be used for Instant Order Processing Notification settings.

You need to have a separate end point for processing the IOPNs.

  5. i Downloadcheckout, i go to installation guide. There it assumes that you've already loaded the files!

If anyone can tell me where I would load or create the checkout by Amazon dir. it would be of great help. i.e.: do i load it at admin or modules? help any help would be appreciated.

    hi,

you have to create the checkout_by_amazon under the root directory of your store. and then follow the instructions in the INSTALLATION GUIDE. once you have uploaded all the files, you have to install it via administration > Payment & administration > Shipping modules

let me know if you face any issues

  7. I just installed Checkout by Amazon and in testing am finding that the inventory in osCommerce is not updating as orders are placed. Any suggestions?

    Hi Carrieann,

osCommerce inventory will not be updated as soon as the order is placed. The plug-in does not support that . It will 15 to 30 minutes for order to be loaded into the oscommerce from seller central and your inventory will be updated.

  8. Unfortunately, I resolved my problem by not taking Amazon payments. I will be attempting to set it up again soon, like tomorrow. Please set an email notification on this thread (like I have), so that if I have a problem with it, I can get help.

    Thanks,

    Walter

PS As an existing Amazon merchant, adding website payments to my account actually locked my Amazon account in an endless registration loop, apparently a know issue that still took 2 days to fix, preventing me from mailing out purchases for 2 days.

    Hi Walter,

Apologize for the difficulty you faced during registration. Please let us know if you face any problem while integration.

    Regards

  11. Hello there! Thank you for this contribution!

I have already experience a higher conversion rate!

The only problem I have is that the Up Sell feature does not work and I would really like it to work. I did everything it says on the Integration Settings on seller.amazon.com I have contacted the amazon support as well but its been 2 weeks already and they seem to find no solution to it.

Is it possible that it has something to do with this contribution?

Is this feature working for any other oscommerce merchant?

Feel free to test my site at http://www.yogicchai.com

    Thanks

    Ricardo
