  1. Zeme, Thanks. Yes, I did do the SQL that was in the installation instructions. My problem was that I had two too many fields at the end of my products_attributes table. products_attributes_weight int(11) 0 products_attributes_weight_prefix int(11) 0 This was from another contribution. I don't use weights for my attributes, so I dropped the fields, but I need to take that part out of the other contribution now. Thanks for the suggestion! Also, I am Milly Ramsey, and I think that Julia just didn't notice the quote of my problem that you included in your post and thought you were talking to her, that'll happen sometimes.
  2. I have installed this contribution, and things seem to be working fine, except that I can't copy attributes from one product to another. I keep getting this error: I just can't figure it out!
  3. bruyndoncx, hhmmm. Makes some sense, but not quite enough for me.
  4. I am experiencing the same thing, and would really love to know if you found a solution to this. Thanks!
  5. I still haven't gotten it working right yet.
  6. Reg-DCP, Are you talking about product descriptions, or category descriptions? You may want to start over and re-install. The categories.php file is full of code and very sensitive and you have to be sooo careful. Also, make sure you altered all the files as instructed in the readme, including index.php
  7. I have repackaged this contrib, including the php scripting mod and my own mod in order to be able to use WYSIWYG for the category description! It's a complete package with slightly reformatted, more user-friendly instructions. I've presented both the WYSIWYG mod and the php scripting mod as OPTIONAL, and included instructions for installation with or without one of these mods. This is a NON-BTS version. Download the latest version, it's all there! Get the contrib here
  8. Ok, I had the end of a query wrong. I have also repackaged this contrib, including the php scripting mod and my own mod in order to be able to use WYSIWYG for the category description! It's a complete package with slightly reformatted, more user-friendly instructions. I've presented both the WYSIWYG mod and the php scripting mod as optional, and included instructions for installation with or without one of these mods. This is a NON-BTS version. 9. Sarah, someone else was wondering about using this description with category metatags. No solution yet, but you may want to look here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=102590 I am having a problem with this contrib. A parse error in admin/categories due to a part of the new_categories_insert. I've posted more about it, help is appreciated! http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=42577
  10. I am wondering about this as well... I'd like both. Right now though I'm having a problem with the categories description contribution. If you have it working and could give me any help, I'd appreciate it. You can find my problem here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42577&st=20 and more help here:http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=100204
  11. did you ever get this working? check out these threads: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=100204 http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42577&st=20
  12. Your post topic is slightly misleading. I was thinking I could help, but you have contribs installed I don't know anything about. You may want to find support threads for these contirbs and post there. I don't know for sure if there are any, but see what there it.
  13. Probably about 50%-60% of my orders are from customers who do not create accounts. I have had PWA from the very beginning so I can't tell you if I would have had more sales with it or not, but I do believe in it!
  14. For each item you can copy it to another category via a button in the right column. To make things faster, use this contrib: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1401 If you want customers to be able to search and sort your store like they can with the manufacturer function, there might be some kind of contrib out there; you never know with this open source stuff, it's great.
  15. look here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=100204 or here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42577&st=20 for help
  16. Where is the official support thread? I need some help with this contrib also.
  17. I'm getting a parse error with this contrib. I have posted the details of my problem here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42577&st=20 Thank you!
  18. I've been searching the forums for quite some time, and tinkering to see if I could figure out a problem I'm having with this contrib, but I just need some help. I have the contribution installed, including on the catalog side, which seems to be working fine so far. However, when I try to access my admin/catagories.php I get a parse error: This is occuring in the new_categories_insert that I inserted into the categories.php as directed in the readme for this contribution. This is the specific line it tells me has the parse error (885): } elseif ($HTTP_GET_VARS['action'] == 'new_category_preview') { This is on an MS2 installation. If you need more info, I can provide it. Thank you in advance for your help!
  19. you should find it in admin -> Categroies (left info box) -> SaleMaker if you installed everything, including making the change in admin/includes/boxes/categories.php
  20. I am having the same problem! If you get it figured out, I'd really love to know what you did to get it working!
  21. Did you ever get this working? I am experiencing the same problem. I actually replied to my original post made in January! http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77659
  22. I'm still having this problem. I've checked the installation again. Some help would be greatly appreciated! The sale prices show up in the product listing pages just fine, it's the specials page and specials box where they don't show up. Thanks!
  23. OsirisPhnx, In order to have a coupon sent in the welcome email you need to set up a coupon in admin-> vouchers/coupons-> coupon admin. Whatever you make the coupon code be is what you would put into the welcome coupon data field in configuration. Don't enter a discount amount, just the coupon code itself.
  24. I'm not sure where you got that bit of code to add to application_top. This is what it should be Be sure that you add the code to the very bottom of application_top, just before the closing ?> tag. Perhaps you should re-read the instructions. (Also, if you are using MS2, there is no default.php, it is now index.php)
  25. portalplanet, See the paragraph after the last quote in my post on the previous page.
