    2Checkout V2 WORKING with OSC 2.2MS2!

Hi Guys I have installed the latest 2CO contribution. It says: I implimrented this but the state box is still unpopulated. This is a real pain for customers because it is an unexpected action to have to perform. Anyone got any helpful suggestions? Cheers Tim

    2Checkout V2 Instructions

Hi Guys. Isn't it wonderfull to be able to worry about the detail with 2CO now after having to operate the most crude workarounds for ages! Can I just check my understanding on something Mark Russell wrote on 2 April. I have implemented the hack he detailed and my order details screen looks pretty much like his screen grab - the purchases are nicely detailed under "product name". However, as with mark's screen grab, my "purchase item description" directly above that in the screen grab is typically something like "Cart 20050416170359". This is also the description provided later in the 2CO sales receipt emailed to the customer (and copied to me of course). Here's the question: Is this what that the pm2checkout/easypopulate combination is supposed to achieve or is the 2CO receipt expected to have a proper description of the goods purchased? Sorry to be thick. But I want to check before i waste any more time trying to fix a problem that does not exist. BTW - I do not bother with test mode any more. I just give myself a 100% refund on my "test" purchases. Cheers Tim

    2 checkout - credit card input 2x

Brett You need to implement the latest contribution for 2CO: 2CO This avoids the need to enter the details on your site and asks only once they hit the 2CO secure server. Cheers Tim

2Checkout not passing back to osC - help

Gracias Covalto I'm glad we agree that the correct file is pm2checkout_process.php, because the contribution says to use checkout_process.php. My pm2checkout_process.php file is the same as yours. Could you show me the contents of your includes/modules/payment/pm2checkout.php Can I just check three things: 1. You are on version 2 of 2CO ie your seller ID number is greater than 200,000 (if your seller ID number is 199,999 or lower, you are V1). 2. Your customers are NOT returned to the login screen of your web site 3. The transaction is recorded against the customer account by osC Have you got hash chect and secret word switched on in osC? Cheers Tim

    Which Payment merchants for UK

With regard to the problems with the module.............. It got worse. Now I have two problems, because the latest contribution converts the pricing currency into dollars when importing into 2CO and then because I am set up for GBP, the customer is charged the number of USD but in GBP. The old problem with not passing back the transaction is not cured because I do not believe that this (or any other contribution) is written for the current version of 2CO. I am sure that a solution such as the one in the latest PayPal IPN solution where the transaction details are stored before being passed through could easily be converted for 2CO, but this will take a little osC/PHP genius to figure out. A challange boys and girls.

    Which Payment merchants for UK

Best of breed as far as I am concerned is pppay.com. They are fully FSA licenced and charge only a little for withdrawing money - no commission etc.

    Which Payment merchants for UK

Hi I used World pay until recently, but baulked at their renewal fees. Happily, I found that 2CO now support pricing in GBP so their one time USD49 and no monthly fee (WP charge ?20 PM) are a lot more attractive. Sign up takes seconds - no farting around for days like I did with WP. I am having problems getting 2CO to pass back sales details to my site but the payment is captured and I do receive an email from 2CO. Having said that, lots of others are having problems configuring WP and payPal, so I guess you should expect teething problems. Check out The Amber Mines if you want a look at my site.

2Checkout not passing back to osC - help

Thanks for that - but this could not be my problem because i do not have SSL. I am plain old HTTP. It IS encouraging that you have got osC to work with 2CO version 2, so it must be possible if I keep plugging away. Could you please confirm that the correct file to enter in the 2CO customisation area under "Input a url for your customers to be sent to on a successful purchase" is definately http://www.ambermines.co.uk/checkout_process.php Anyone with any ideas? Cheers Tim
  12. Hi Guys I cancelled from 2CO last year because they did not support pricing other than in USD. However, the software integrated well with osC at the time. Now they do support pricing in many currencies, so I signed up again. By now they are on version 2 of their solution and there are some differences in how V1 accounts (which they continue to maintain) and V2 accounts (which new users MUST sign to) work. I note that quite a few people have problems with 2CO and their support people are neither efficient nor helpfull. I have tried ALL the solutions proposed by recent contributors and none work for me. When customers click to finalise the transaction, they are returned to my site's login screen and if they log in, they are looped back to the screen before they selected to pay by 2CO. The product is still in their cart and the transaction has not registered on osC. Happily, I do get a message from 2CO telling me that an order ois placed, but it is embarrassing asking the customer for their order details. Is anyone thinking of witing a payment module for 2CO V2? Cheers Tim
