    @raiwa
    Discount_Codes_5.0.0_BS  sounds good to me. Also separating the BS4 and BS3 stuff by keeping it in separate catalog folders sounds like a good plan.
    I will test your files tomorrow, 1:30 AM here now, and get you some feedback asap.
    Thanks

    It's the standard MySQL % searching. One of the next updates will move the searching to an Elasticsearch server.

    It's just a template so individual shopowners can easily set it up as they like and tweak it etc.
    HTML Emails are actually quite difficult as email programs render the output markedly differently.
    Well, it's certainly close enough to get the updated system out to the two testers to try.  Tomorrow chaps.

    Hello Kevin @Kevin.Dallas,
    Thank You! I'm back and had a look into the package.
    You'll find the shopping cart content module in:
    catalog/includes/modules/content/shopping_cart/
    Please see instructions:
    Discount_Codes_4.2_for_BS_install:

    1. Copy the new files to your osCommerce shop, preserving the directory structure.
    ...

    *OPTIONAL
    catalog/includes/modules/content/shopping_cart/cm_sc_discount_code.php
    catalog/includes/modules/content/shopping_cart/templates/discount_code.php
    catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/content/shopping_cart/cm_sc_discount_code.php
    ...
    *OPTIONAL
       Install the Content module under Administration -> Modules -> Content -> Install Module -> Discount Code -> Install Module.

    To be able to use the shopping cart content module you need to have one of the following conditions fullfilled:
    - use a newer BS version which have the content module call already included in shopping_cart.php
    ( edge 2.3.4 is not a clear reference, there are hundreds of versions. Important in this case is to have the content module call included in shopping_cart.php)
    - use modular shopping cart
    - add manually the content module call to your shopping_cart.php:
    <div class="clearfix"></div> <div class="row"> <?php echo $oscTemplate->getContent('shopping_cart'); ?> </div>
    You may consider to use ship in cart which will show shipping costs and real order totals (including discount) already on the shopping cart page. On that way your customers know what they will have to pay before using the PayPal express checkout button:
    Ship In Cart BS reloaded
    Best regards
    Rainer
    PS: Next time, before starting to work on an addition, just ask here in the forum, there may already exist a solution 😉.

    Yep looks good, thanks.  Big gap is from my testing (of line breaks, as well as you can see such things as BOLD and Italic etc.
    Thanks for testing.  Here;s the template that created that;

    Dear {{FNAME}}, thank you for your order #{{OID}}. <b>BOLD</b> <i>Italic</i> Summary ------------------------------------------------------ <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%"> <tr> <td><b>Order Number:</b></td> <td>{{OID}}</td> </tr> <tr> <td><b>Detailed Invoice:</b></td> <td>https://template.me.uk/outgoing/account_history_info.php?order_id={{OID}}</td> </tr> <tr> <td><b>Date Ordered:</b></td> <td>{{ORDER_DATE}}</td> </tr> <tr> <td><b>Status:</b></td> <td>{{ORDER_STATUS}}</td> </tr> </table> Products ------------------------------------------------------ {{PRODUCTS}} Delivery Address ------------------------------------------------------ {{DELIVERY_ADDRESS}} Billing Address ------------------------------------------------------ {{BILLING_ADDRESS}} Payment Method ------------------------------------------------------ {{PAYMENT_METHOD}} for {{ORDER_VALUE}} A big BIG BIG Thank You from all of us here at Burtys Test Shop!

    I'm still working on this as and when I can - want to get it as "right as possible" before too many people get their hands on it, as outgoing emails are a (very) important part of any shop.

    I've recoded a portion of this as my logic was causing a noticeable slowdown while creating and processing the outgoing emails queue.  It's now a bit simpler, yet gives the exact same details, and allows shopowner to more easily "send" himself (eg by cron or accessing a special page).
    Will get this out to the two testers tonight for further feedback.  If that testing goes well, will then put a call out for a couple more testers.

    Gary has been letting me play around with his new Queued Email add-on and I thought I would try to dress up one of the emails.  I selected the standard Order Confirmation email and here is what I came up with.   It works a treat and is sent automatically in place of the stock Order Confirmation Email.   His system does a lot more then just replace the stock emails, so it'll be a must have when it's released.

    @vampirehunter I recommend that you try to get the mysqli extension enabled for your installation. mysql is deprecated even on php 5.6 and not available on php7. It's possible that there are bits of code that don't work properly on this old extension.

    We also now have Filtering (for the outgoing Queue).  Now easily see individual customers or slugs.

    As an example, let's say that the Queue has 200 emails in it waiting to go out over the next 3 months.  Examples of use;
    You want to see all "birthday_greetings", select that slug from the dropdown and press go.   You want to see all emails that are going out to a particular customer.  Select that customer and press go. You want to see all "review_requests" going to a particular customers.  Select slug and customer, and press go. This thing is getting better and better...

    I've now created a module for order_success to replace the standard order success email that osC sends.  If anyone wants to test it:
    https://template.me.uk/outgoing/
    and progress all the way through the checkout.  You'll get an email sent by this new system - so PLEASE use a real email address...
    This system is looking like another game-changer.

    Real life feedback/ideas from shopowners lead me to this change;

    With one extra line of code in the main module I made this a reality, so now it's possible to use the {{TAG}} system in the Title as so:

    and when received looks like (eg) this:

    Pretty damned cool!

    Whilst I have not seen what you are doing I have been following this thread with anticipation for anything better than is originally available. It sound like you are getting somewhere Gary. Well done.
    I would love to see a system where order status update emails could be written specifically for the update status replacing the standard 'your order has been upgraded to' emails. And the same with the 'new customer' or other emails. They are all a bit plain and do nothing for future sales.
    Like I say, cant wait to see where this leads as it sounds good.

    Adding in those extra {{XYZ}} tags has caused problems.  Main problem being on the admin side when adding an email into the Queue, the extra {{XYZ}} tags over and above the basic (always available) ones were impossible to add.
    That's now solved after much banging of head on keyboard.  So, I think it's now good to start being properly tested - over the weekend I'll upload the new files to the demo site, clean out the queued emails and ask for testers (once again, sorry)...

    I haven't.  I'm aiming to get something useable for "out of the box" osC...and then if individuals need technical advice/changes, I'm available as usual.
    Long story short, for something like PWA (note that I do not know exactly how PWA works but have a general idea), it would just mean working out what data is available and creating a an outgoing-email module for that data.  To make a long story even shorter; not difficult I think.
    As for something like a winback (or any other outgoing-email module) that would be up to each shopowner to decide what is right for their demographic...as simple as that...
