  1. Back from a trip..lots of catching up to do.... @@burt For the 95% shop owner/5% code maintainer people, unless they drill down through commit discussions (where there is any) understanding what technically the commit does/fixes is probably an issue with them. The developer you mention above may do well to have a site that lists the commits and gives in shop owner terms what it will do for the shop owners site. Enhance, fix, whatever. Perhaps a scale of 1 to 5 on urgency to install the commit. Example 1 not so important and the shop will probably do fine without it to 5 where this is urgent and if not updated will do this, that or the other thing. One need I see is a developer helping a Gold responsive shop owner get to Edge by the way.
  2. Google Atlassian Sourcetree for the software. Be forewarned there's a bit of a learning curve but putting in the time to learn is well worth it if you want to keep up on the latest. As far as commits, they are incremental, chronologically listed. You probably could cherry pick what commits (updates) you want but it's probably best to just keep up. Get your Sourcetree going and you be able to select each commit, find and locate the files updated on your local working copy and put them in your system, using file compare software to check for any changes you might have made otherwise. Doing the file change analysis is much easier in Sourcetree. It might be worth it to bite the bullet and go straight to edge. You'll have to deal with your configure files, images and some database stuff but it's worth it I'd think. Maybe the forums could help out on that stuff, or get some help from a professional.

    [Contribution] Ship In Cart

@@raiwa @@Dan Cole May want to hold off a bit on testing as Gary is redoing some of the shopping cart module package over in Github. Specifically, includes/modules/content/shopping_cart/cm_sc_checkout.php

  14. Until I get my attachments issue taken care of, what I can tell you is a lot of the 302s are looking for urls with parameters like sort, page, etc. These probably aren't google or bing because have my webmaster tools set up to ignore those parameters. Over the past 24 hours url redirects picked up over 150 new urls as 302s. I'm currently fixing these with phpMyAdmin. It's quicker that way for me.
  15. Well, for some reason my image upload is failing....will try later
  16. That was from AWStats from my cPanel. Here's this month to date: **deleted.table would not render. See image
  17. Over 3000 302 status hits handled last month with this add on.
  18. Doing some SSL online help testing and got this: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')', expecting :: (T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM) in /web/oscom/help/includes/OSC/OM/OSCOM.php on line 63
  19. I updated my url redirects add on to the latest and then downloaded the file. It was delimited by semicolon, so that's how I imported it. It worked fine, putting the fields into columns in Excel. I then saved the file as csv. Is that the correct format for uploading? Also, when uploading, is the data processed as an update query? Meaning if I have only 10 records I want to update, can I upload just those? Or do I have to upload the entire file, with changes to just the 10 records? I don't want to upload just 10 records and lose thousands already in place. Thanks
  20. I did now that you mentioned it. When using the beta, I don't think that was set up yet and I never tried it. But I see what you did with specific recommendations for specific issues. Very nice.
  21. Just as an FYI, here's an example of what the log is capturing from URL redirects regarding products. I am seeing a lot of these. I'm pretty sure it's not customers, but whatever the source I have no idea what the products were in that they were probably deleted long ago. So I decided how to handle these is a 301 redirect to the home page, or / for the new url on the url redirects page.
  22. I will upload the latest version this week and work with the csv download / upload to see how that goes. Thanks
  23. I am currently using Chemo's version. I've had not problems directly with the url redirects related to that as far as I have observed and have been using url redirects for a long time, since it was in the beta version. Checking my configuration for SEO URLS all options/setting look to be there.
  24. Can the message stack be put into a language file, then let the shop owners modify that do their needs? Also, will the message stack only show for redirected products and categories? But not a 404 or 410 because that's a different situation.
